After several months of getting into Pilates I have to recommend not only the practice but Radical Change as well. I have had an excellent experience with the teachers here, they are focused and hands on, the class size is small, and the reformers are the highest quality. (and the studio is super clean, which matters to me!)
Andrea in particular is an amazing teacher and her class flows feel challenging and vitalizing no matter the level of difficulty. She has an authenticity in her presence that I trust and clearly a significant amount of experience in her practice. I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to improve their health, balance, and strength!

In love with the studio- it’s accessible and approachable for a Pilates studio with options for different level of intensity in every class. I moved down to Bankers Hill from Oceanside and was looking for a new Pilates studio and I’m so grateful to have found Radical Change.

If you have been doing pilates for years, you’ll probably love it here. If you’ve never done pilates, you’ll probably love it here. If you want to explore moving with intention, and improve the overall quality of your life, come on down to the good folks at RCPW. Andrea and William have created a lovely space and community to practice in. Couldn’t be happier with my membership and the variety of classes offered. Did I mention I love it here 🤣

This studio is the absolute best Pilates studio in San Diego! And I have tried a BUNCH of them. The owner, Andrea, is an absolute gem. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and funny (which really helps the time fly!) I have numerous physical limitations I need to be mindful of and was often being injured at larger studios that don't give you the one-on-one attention that Andrea does. Plus, all the equipment is brand new—which is a treat to workout on.
(A quick side note to give context for the one random negative review I see here on Google. That gal gave this studio 1 star because she arrived late and complained she couldn't find free parking in downtown. Everyone that lives here knows most of the parking is going to be metered. Plus, she also gave a bad review because the owner (who took her phone call 10 minutes after class had started) wouldn't mark her as "present." Ummm, why would she?? I also use ClassPass and don't expect studio owners to break any rules if I don't manage my time correctly.)

I booked my Pilates class through class pass and had some difficulty finding free parking, and I was late. Called the studio for help and the owner of the studio said it was unlikely that the instructor will let me in since we passed the 5 min grace period (back then by 2-3 mins). She started to have this terrible attitude lecturing me how important it is to be punctual and how disruptive I would be if I enter the classroom late. Okay, being late is on me and I get that. I gave the class up and asked her if she could at least still mark me as present since I am already here, so in this way class pass doesn’t charge me a no show fee. She made it very clear that she doesn’t care and was not willing to do anything. “If you don’t take the class you are absent.” I’m not saying being late is the correct thing to do here and I’m not proud. But I’m not seeing the LEAST AMOUNT of understanding. Key takeaways: 1) parking could be confusing; 2) the studio expects everybody to be on time otherwise someone is going to give you a hard time.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience doing the restorative Pilates class. It was such a great way to get back into my body after a day of administrative tasks with gentle movement and muscle engagement. Andrea is a lovely instructor. I highly recommend her 😁

This is your sign to take those private lessons and start Pilates! Andrea was GREAT and I’m so happy I took the plunge to try her studio. I’m not the most coordinated but Andrea was encouraging and made it easy to understand/push myself. She was so helpful and I’m excited to come back for more! Highly recommend.

I am new to Pilates and have tried 3 different locations before coming to Radical Change. Andrea’s classes by far are my favorite. I was challenged and I feel every muscle activated. I left there thinking, “this is what Pilates is supposed to be!” I’m still a beginner and Andrea did help me with some modifications. I like that we did more than the reformer. She is a patient instructor and very helpful.
The location is great with ample parking on the street. It cost $1.25 which is very inexpensive for street parking. I will definitely go back.

Andrea was amazing. She listened to what I needed and had so much great advice. My body was way overdue for a good massage. I'm super picky and not very good at taking care of my body despite my drive to beat it up with all my running. With hamstring, back, and foot issues I was able to run pretty pain free for the first time in a long time. I highly recommend her to everyone. So professional and knowledgeable. Thank you!

Have been going to Andrea for some time now. She is absolutely wonderful and professional. She does a great job at waxing and makes the experience relaxing/fun despite the pain. Her place is well kept, very clean. I'm so glad I found her, I won't even bother trying out other spas because of her. She also has great rates for her services!
