Our 11-year-old had an exceptional first session at Rising Golfers Academy. The welcoming, knowledgeable, and patient coaches immediately made my child feel comfortable, even though he had only been learning golf for a couple of months.

The instructors’ balanced approach to structure and fun made every session purposeful but not overwhelming. Their passion for teaching golf and their commitment to building confidence and character were evident.

Over a few weeks, we saw significant progress in my child’s swing, short game, focus, and ability to take instruction. The positive reinforcement from the coaches made a huge difference.

The Rancho Carlsbad Golf Course, with its beginner-friendly atmosphere, provided a safe and supportive environment for learning. As our child improves, there was room for growth to match his progress.

The communication and organization were excellent. We knew the schedule, what to bring, and the goals for each session and monthly drills. The app tracked training, showed helpful drills, and tracked scores. On top of all that, there are on course 9-hole challenges every couple of weeks so the kids can try and advance to the next level. It really gives the kids a goal to work towards every practice session.

We’ve already signed up for the next session, and our child eagerly anticipates it. Highly recommend Rising Golfers Academy to parents seeking a positive, professional, and enjoyable introduction to golf for their children.

We are so glad we found Raising Golfers Academy! We have done other golf programs and camps but our 11 year old daughter has enjoyed this one the most and has made the most progress. We started with the week long summer camp which she thought was fun. I recently enrolled my daughter in the Raising Golfers Golf Academy for 8 weeks program, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. I started lessons with Travis late last year and have signed on for a second set of lessons. Even in a group setting he takes the time to instruct individually. The operation 36 is a different approach than what I have done in the past and was difficult for me to understand at first, but now makes perfect sense. Learn the short game first then move further out. Travis sets the tone for fun while learning. Our 7 year old grandson took an interest in golf with encouragement from me and his dad. I knew that my instructions, or his dad's instructions, were not going to be sufficient for him to properly execute and have fun. So, one day, at Rancho Carlsbad, we noticed boys and girls his age on the putting green with all different sorts of activities that appeared to be focused on fun and on golfing skills. I inquired with Travis, the teaching pro, and he explained the Operation 36 program and his philosophy of orienting children to the game of golf. So, we enrolled our grandson, He looks forward to his Tuesday afternoon sessions as well as his Saturday nine hole challenges. I stick around and watch Travis' approach to the students and how he engages them and helps them master the basics of golf, the etiquette of golf, and most importantly, having fun with golf. Safety is always mentioned, as well. (I've even picked up a few pointers myself! ) I highly recommend Travis for anyone considering enrolling their child in a golf development program or for individual lessons.

Operation 36 has been a wonderful balance of fun and constructive teaching. I go to the driving range at Rancho Carlsbad a good amount, and occasionally get an opportunity to see one of the Raising Golfers Golf Academy classes. After seeing coach Travis’s enthusiasm and passion, along with how excited all the kids are in every class, I soon started bringing my 3 year old to the Saturday toddler classes. He is so excited every time we go. He starts off a little shy as soon as we get there, but quickly warms up and doesn’t want to leave at the end. I never thought I would have a preschooler learning golf, but that’s how fun and exciting Coach Travis makes these classes.

Side note: I started doing adult lessons with Coach Travis. I started playing a year and half ago and when I first signed up with him back in April, it would be a good day if I broke 100. Now in December I’m in the low 80’s.
