I’m stronger than ever! I started training with Raquel a year ago and I’m so glad I did! I have chronic intermittent low back and hip pain. Raquel took the time to figure out what works for me and created a program that allowed me to truly progress in my workouts. I’m a small woman (under 120 lbs) and find myself deadlifting 100 lbs, back squatting 95 lbs, and bench pressing 65 lbs. I’m sure I haven’t maxed out yet either! I’ve never been stronger or felt better about myself. Feeling strong in my body gives me the confidence to move about the world in a whole new way: I’m taking dance classes twice per week now, I can walk 45,0000 steps per day, do strenuous hikes, my skiing has improved greatly, and I scuba dive whenever I get the chance. I’ve tried things I never imagined doing like climbing a 100ft redwood tree to canopy zip line. When my back hurts, Raquel eases me back into my workouts by focusing on more physical therapy type movements. She has corrected my breathing and posture during exercises and is always vigilant to ensure proper form. We’ve worked on issues particular to women such as pelvic floor and rib placement. Raquel is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. She truly cares about her clients and their goals. I recommend her to anyone who needs a jump start into a stronger, healthier and better lifestyle!

I have been training with Raquel for two years and I can’t say enough great things about her and her home gym. I have never been able to lift or do hiit without constantly hurting myself. Raquel really takes the time to get to know your body and starts from proper breathing to proper technique to proper nutrition (if desired).

Raquel is a great Trainer that worked with me to kickstart a new fitness plan. She is incredibly informed at what she does and will work with you on specific areas of your body you'd like to focus on, your core strength, building muscle, and getting into a routine that is practical for your life. One thing I really like about Raquel is that she has a background in post-partum / exercise with women and it really helped me understand more about what my body had gone through during childbirth and why it had changed so much. She gives you a great workout, you sweat hard (in the best way possible), and feel satisfied when you leave her studio. I really also liked that it was private with Raquel, a quiet/safe space, and there were no distractions. She's amazing if you are looking to start a fitness routine, get back into shape, or continue building your body!

I started working out with Raquel about 4 months ago and in that short time, I'm already seeing amazing results. I have two small kids and had taken a long hiatus from working out, until I found Raquel. She made it easy for me to learn the exercises and developed a training plan that has allowed me to make steady progress every single week. She puts a lot of emphasis into teaching the proper form for each exercise which has helped me tremendously. Her home gym is a great space and has everything you'll need for your workout. The training sessions are always different, challenging, and very fun. She is a sweetheart and I really enjoy working out with her. If you are looking for a personal trainer/coach, look no further than Raquel!

Raquel is a kind soul with some bada** buff arms, and I guess that what drew me to her initially. She walks the walk, but also isn't a trainer that is going to yell at you, she's kind, warm and incredibly knowledgable about women's bodies. When you work with her, she takes the time to develop a plan that works for you. I have a pre- existing condition, and she has studied it even more than I have, which shows her commitment to full body health. I have been going to her for 2.5 years, (can't believe it's been that long) and she's fabulous! Highly recommend.
