I absolutely love this gym! The trainers are amazing. They really know what they’re doing and make every workout feel great. I’m one of the least fit people in the gym, but they always make me feel accepted, help me improve, and make me feel like part of the group. There are some very fit and athletic members, but there are also others like me who are still far from their results, and the trainers motivate all of us to do our best and keep learning.
They organize different workouts every day, which makes the training so dynamic and fun. Every day I’m excited to go and see what we’ll do next. And one more important thing: the monthly price is super affordable. I don’t think you can find any other gym that offers so much for such a reasonable price. Highly recommend it!

Joshua Chan not only pays attention to the details of everybody’s form (to reduce injury and maximize strength), he also brings so much spirit to the workout. This place is amazing! I had noticed it before and thought, “One day I’ll gather the courage to go in”, and thank God I did. Three months in, and I’m hooked! All the trainers are incredible, especially with newcomers who need scaled workouts, but they also know when to encourage you to push harder and make progress if they see you’re ready.
These 90 days have helped me establish a routine, build endurance, improve my cadence, and I feel so much more energetic. Everyone here is lovely and always encouraging. It’s a judgment-free space, and I’m so glad I picked this gym – it truly feels like a supportive, motivating community!

I have been searching for a gym home for several years, and I am thrilled to have finally found RB Fitness. The coaches and community here are incredible - genuine, supportive, positive, and kind. Josh, in particular, has been a fantastic coach. He sets realistic and progressive goals that helped me achieve milestones I have never thought possible. When I started, holding a dashing for more than 20 seconds was difficult. After 1.5 years at RB Fitness, I was able to do Murph Rx (no vest)! I cannot recommend RB Fitness enough 😇😇😇

Josh and Redondo Beach Fitness are the best. Hands down! Josh offers alternative exercises for my aged body during class. He is calm, thoughtful, and caring. The classes are varied, challenging, and dare I say fun. Something I never thought I'd say about going to the gym! The people are welcoming and have become great friends. Everyone encourages each other, no one leaves until everyone has finished. It really is a family.

Joshua is always a very attentive and considerate coach. He is very helpful in pinpointing what weight is right for me, and he also is really good about pointing out ways in which my technique can improve for any given exercise. Love this gym. The coaching is fantastic. The biggest knock against CrossFit style programming is that people get injured too easily/often, but not here. Joshua, Chai, Zack, Ted, Miguel…they all go out of their way to ensure thorough warm-ups (better than other gyms), really focus on teaching proper form, and provide personal attention - during the workouts and in the programming - to help you make sure you’re progressing without over-doing it and setting yourself back. And they coach in a friendly, chill way. They’re just cool people (ask Josh what he’s reading. Only gym I’ve gone to where I get a good workout AND thoughtful book recommendations at the same time).

The gym community is great too. Very friendly, welcoming, and supportive. There are a lot of amazing athletes that workout here, but no meatheads throwing their egos around and no drama. Don’t worry if you don’t look like a crossfitter. The coaches will help you start wherever you are and the community will encourage you to keep going. And if you’re already in beastmode, you’ll still find ways to progress here.

I drove by the gym for years thinking “I should really check that out,” but took me a long time to get around to it. What a mistake. You’ll be really happy working out here. I know I am.

I have never done crossfit before and always thought it was hard and impossible for me, until I met Josh and started taking classes at RBF. Josh manages to dedicate a great amount of time to each person during every class and alternate all the exercises in accordance with person's level and any health conditions. Redondo Beach Fitness is a great combination of a dedicated community of members working to get or keep themselves fit and coaches, especially the owner, Josh, solely focused on helping the members achieve their fitness goals. I have been working out at this gym since 2012 (when it was Crossfit Redondo) and it remains the only gym that has provided me the personalized coaching, motivation and constantly varied and challenging workouts to keep me engaged. At 60 I am probably in best shape since college and having a great time getting there!

Josh (owner and head coach) knows all his athletes personally and keeps watch over us to insure good form and prevent injuries, all while coaxing out our best efforts. Try Redondo Beach Fitness out You'll be amazed by the results.

Best drop in experience I’ve ever had. I travel quite a bit and have dropped into many boxes around the world over the years but never have I been greeted by name as I walked in the door (I emailed ahead of time to let them know I was coming). The members were friendly and welcoming and coach Josh made me feel like I was a member. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and effective. I left CFR with new skills and a smile on my face. Before joining Crossfit Redondo, I tried many different fitness programs including traditional gym memberships, yoga, pilates, and boot camp classes. In every instance, I didn't stick with it. Crossfit is challenging, but also very encouraging. Every movement can be scaled and modified so that whether you're old or young, in great shape or completely out of shape, you can participate and get the most out of the workout.

The coaches are phenomenal. They encourage you and make you feel like a welcome part of the community. Pretty soon, everyone will know your name and you'll really feel like part of a great fitness family.

The end result for me is that I've been Crossfitting regularly for nearly two years and over 300 workouts. I'm in the best shape of my life. I can do things I never thought possible (like pullups and handstand pushups!)

Every time I travel for work, I try to go to different Crossfit gyms. I've visited quite a few and it's made me appreciate Crossfit Redondo even more. The coaching here is top notch, with a strong emphasis on proper technique. The workouts are thoughtfully planned and constantly varied. It's one of the best Crossfit gyms nationwide.
