I started Taekwondo at Reeves Martial Arts and Fitness as an older adult just hoping to get active again. Under Master Reevesβ instruction, I not only earned my black belt but gained back strength, confidence in my abilities, and a renewed sense of wellbeing. What makes Master Reeves so special is the way she meets you where you are at in life. She works to understand your limits, motivations, and strengths, guiding and challenging you along the way. Training here has been a wonderful experience, and Iβm deeply grateful to be part of this school. I highly recommend Reeves Martial Arts and Fitness.

We have been going to Reeves for almost 3 years! I have an 11 year old and 9 year old who look forward to the classes everyday! It's been awesome to watch them grow in thanks to being a part of such an awesome program and community that Reeves offers! Highly recommend!

I think it is important that I write a review for Mrs. Reeves. My daughter had to stop going in 2021 because we moved out of the area. It's been almost three years and we still talk about lessons she learned at Reeves. Within the next month my daughter will be testing for her black belt in a different martial art ( she had just achieved black belt in Taekwondo prior to our move).
Since moving, I've gained a new appreciation for what an outstanding job Mr. nd Mrs. Reeves did in teaching my daughter integrity, courage, leadership, and so many other skills that she uses in everyday life. Reeves Martial Arts is a well run place, where they made testing feel special and like a community event, leaving my daughter feeling particularly accomplished. My daughter still brings up advice that Mr. or Mrs. Reeves shared. When my daughter has to do something scary in front of people we always talk about how testing was, and how if she could handle testing at TK then she can handle giving a speech. We talk about Reeves Martial Arts all the time and just how much my whole family likes the organization of their systems and the atmosphere they provided for my daughter and family to thrive in. That being said, with as often as we talk about Reeves Martial Arts, and the wonderful memories we made there, it just wasn't fair that I had never left a review. We live too far away now but I promise if we didn't I would take my daughter back immediately.

I can't say enough good things about our experience at Reeves Martial Arts and Fitness. My kids have been enrolled for about a year and a half, and after enrolling them, it looked like fun, so I joined too. I am an older mom who has never been athletic. One of my children is neurodivergent and another is highly active. The needs of the individuals in our family differ greatly, and Master Reeves has always worked with us and helped us overcome any obstacles. Due to Master Reeves' teaching style, I am constantly able to correlate the lessons and experiences we have there to the everyday obstacles my children encounter. Our experience has been extremely enriching and beneficial. I regularly refer her to my friends.

Very disappointed. The woman was very vague with me then while she was teaching my kid my kid started to cry & I tried to tell her that my kid is special needs & she is rude to me again and goes that's something you should of told me before class. Whitch was hard to tell her anything due to her blowing me off with a lot of my questions. This place was very disappointing. I would give no stars

My wife and I are extremely satisfied with our daughterβs experience at Reeves Martial Arts. The training environment is clean, safe, and professional everyday.
We never have to worry about her safety or wellbeing while at a typical day of training or at summer camp with Master Reeves around.
She is a highly trained black belt professional who thoroughly enjoys training others in this field.
We are always quick to refer friends and look forward to our younger children going to learn at Reeves Martial Arts!

After 20 years and some time off from Tae Kwon Do, I've come full-circle back to training with Master Reeves. It was one of the wisest decisions I've made as a "senior"! Master Reeves understands my physical issues (which seem to vary from class to class) and tailors my training to get the best out of myself. I strongly recommend Reeves Martial Arts to everyone from kids to adults!

My son and I have been students at Reeves for two years now, and cannot recommend it more highly. I am in much better overall shape and have actually managed to become more flexible, much to my surprise! Reeves just moved a couple of suites over in the same building to what is becoming a very nice, spacious, and well-lit dojang.
The classes are very well--organized, with the skills learned at each belt level seamlessly building on the skills needed for the next. Upon occasion when I've gone to a class and have a tight back, I notice that there are extra back stretches that class - in other words, Master Reeves is very observant of the students and is good at tailoring to their needs to get the best out of them.
Master Reeves has an uncanny ability to effectively communicate with her students, regardless of age. I have seen many students blossom in that time, especially the kids, who are showing increased concentration, self-confidence, and perseverance. While the students are expected to do their best every class, the atmosphere there is relaxed, and like family.
Go watch a class or two and decide for yourself!
