This is a lovely place to play disc golf.
Some of the rough has very spikey bramble - next time I'll play it a little safer.
Hope to return soon!

Use to love this course but charging $33 for a round and $14 for a cart for this course is just ridiculous, upkeep the course of you want to charge those prices

β³οΈπββοΈ nice par 3 course my son and I recently played this course 2 weeks ago. We had such a good time we had to come back this week. They got us out on the course no tee time needed both times we went at 3:00 Twilight hours. The rates are fair for this course with being in Escondido local it's a nice course to have 2 mi away from home. teeboxes and fairways are well kept for the greens there are some patches that need help overall in good condition. The staff in the clubhouse are friendly and helpful also the hot dogs are amazing according to my son. Overall a good course for any beginners, kids or intermediate players. Definitely will be returning to play here again.

This was course #2 on our 4 day golf trip. A fun little 18 hole executive course all par 3s. We got a 4pm tee time after finishing playing Mt. Woodson that morning. $28 w/ cart which is a steal. Conditions are what you expect for the price. There was 6 of us and we were able to catch up to our foursome buddies ahead of us and we played as a group of 6 from hole 5 until the end. The marshal was fine with it as long as nobody caught up to us which nobody ever did. we finished in less than 2.5hrs. Would recommend this place if your looking to add some more golf on the same day. Seems very easy to get a tee time.

This course is under new management, and the improvements are really starting to show. The greens keep getting better, and I appreciate the effort theyβre making to offer good deals. The brand-new golf carts are a great touch, too. Iβve been coming here for a while, and with the positive changes, Iβll definitely keep coming back.

Donβt play here! We made a tee time on New Yearβs Day, showed up and the place was dead! Two workers just sitting watching the Rose Bowl! Told us they didnβt have our tee time and were all booked up! We showed them our confirmation and they still refused to let us play and had horrible customer service yelling at one point! We putt and chipped for 45 minutes and not one group teed off on the first hole! So their employees Mike and the other bald Hispanic guy are just flat out liars, lazy and just wanted to sit on their butt be lazy and not work! Find another golf course that cares about customers and want customers to play golf! Donβt go to Reidy creek!

Am a discgolfer. Have Never, In My 68 Yrs., been on a ball golf course! Was looking to throw some discs, at a different place, on my wife and my getaway from Orange County. Came upon this course which has incorporated disc golf! Called them up. Informed girl on the phone I was really intimidated. She was very pleasant and encouraging! Though I did have some confusion as to what I was doing at points along the way; I'd say it was a great experience.
As I was wrapping up to leave, the girl spoke to me using my name which is an impressive thing you certainly don't expect these days.
Intend to see if I can put together an excursion down here with 3 or 4 of my DG π₯β³ compedres where we play in Huntington Beach

Was looking forward to this course, but left disappointed. I get that you need to punch your greens, but let us know before we pay. Greens were basically freshly punched with a high volume of sand so not usable. After three holes I stopped putting. The rough around the greens can be pretty lumpy. Tee boxes ranged from good to poor; a couple of boxes I just backed up 10 yards to get some grass. Staff was nice. With no fairways to maintain, I was expecting more.

Greens are terrible and the course is way too expensive for what it is. Save yourself the money and go play at the welk or another par 3 around town. Its not taken care of and for $49 with a cart youre better off playing elsewhere.

It's a great place to have fun with friends and family! This place has frisbee, soccer, and normal golf! A very small takeaway is that sometimes a tunnel is closed that you take to get to the back 9, so you have to walk in order to get there. But besides this, 10/10.

Great disc golf course! Staff are super friendly. 18$ to play per player and it is 18 holes. There are discs to buy in the pro shop as well. You can also get a golf cart but that costs extra.
You play along side with golfers so make sure you book a tee time prior to showing up. All golfers in front of me and behind me were all nice and loved to see how the sport is played.

I used to love this course when it was run by the JC's but since management has changed the quality has gone down and the price has gone up. Staff friendliness has suffered as well. Very very sad as it was a treasure in Escondido. I used to be proud to have friends from outside of Escondido come and play this lovely course but no more. I'm quite concerned that it is going to go the same way that eagle Crest and Castle Creek have gone which is downhill and and almost unused. Hopefully the city will read some of these reviews and go back to having the JC's run this course. Big mistake on their part to change when it was working so well. The JC's had gotten that course in great shape.. now the greens are mostly dirt, The fairways are getting brown, and the sand traps are more like hard dirt traps. Not to mention the revenue that they have lost because JC Members who used to play at this course will exercise their other options that they get as part of their JC membership. Very shortsighted on the part of the city to change management. I do not know what they were thinking but obviously they did not think this through. No doubt non-golfers made this poor decision to change management.

The footgolf is not good here. The ball rolls down the concrete cart path. Also the footgolf holes to kick the ball into are all lumpy and the ball bounces out of the cup. This place may be ok for regular golf but definitely not great for soccer (footgolf).

i used to love this course. Ever since management change there willingness to work with disc golfers has disappeared. Also if you loose a disc and they find it. They sell it. I was contacted and told it would be held for me to pick up. When I arrived the guy told me they put all found discs and some guy comes and picks the good ones. If this is you id love my Yellow star Destroyer Paul Mcbeth 4x back.

Played 3/5/23 - this course has fallen off significantly since leaving the JC Golf Group, greens, tee boxes, bunkers all need improvement and have not been taken care of. Pace of play is terrible, nearly two groups waiting for every green to clear; think twice before booking a tee time

Great little course. Challenging to play with some unique green combinations. Fairly lush, some dry/construction patches, but every course does, so not an issue. Greens are soft and hole positions can certainly frustrate/excite based on your attitude towards the round. Accessible for children and pretty big on frisbee golf. Incredible rates makes playing here every day completely feasible. Great/helpful staff rounds out the course.

This is a pretty fun par 3 course, the reason I am leaving a 1 star review is not for the course itself, but because of someone within the staff. I finished my round at about 5:30 pm on Friday 7/16 and left my glasses in the middle console of the cart I used. I did not realize I left them until I got home and called immediately about 30 minutes later. The person I spoke with on the phone said nothing had been turned in yet so I figured ok maybe that was too soon and whoever was working the cart return area hadn't turned them in yet. The weekend went by and I called again yesterday morning and the person I spoke with said he would go check and I would get a call back if they had them. No call. Obviously it is my fault for leaving them, but these glasses hold great sentimental value to me and I am absolutely crushed that I no longer have them. I hope someone that reads this can talk to whoever was working the cart return area to please turn in my sunglasses, I would seriously greatly appreciate it. If this review is still up or not updated, I urge everyone that comes here to triple check your carts or anywhere you may leave something because if you leave, you may not get your stuff back.

My favorite disc golf course! Looking forward to seeing how well the course plays when the new teepads are put in.
Would love to see the owner branch out when it comes to selling discs on site. Currently, all they sell is Innova and it's pretty apparent the person ordering the discs isn't extremely knowledgeable based on the molds/discs they are stocking.

The man I believe to be the owner, stopped me from coming into the clubhouse during the 9 hole turn and asked me what I wanted. He put his hand up and stopped me from walking in. I had a mask on per their policy and he acted like I was a second class citizen. I just wanted to get some snacks and a drink. After telling him that, he then still thought about it and finally let me in. It was super awkward and I almost went off on him, but I wanted to finish my round. O yeah, the sand traps have grass and roots growing in them too. Poor experience all around.

Reidy Creek has always been my favorite par 3 course and I still love it, but it appears they are letting it go. Course maintenance is lacking. The only thing preventing a 5 star review is the conditions of the bunkers on the course. They have little to no sand in them and many either have tree roots or patchy grass growing in them. Otherwise this is a great par 3 course. Max distance is 197 on one hole from the blue tees and that hole plays slightly downhill The greens run fairly fast especially if you are above the hole.it makes it hard to not have a 5 footer coming back if you miss the downhill putt. Staff is friendly and the price is good. I will be back for more rounds to work on approach shots.

I was hit by a golf ball from reidy creek while driving south on north broadway. It flew in my window and hit me on the arm. I had a bruise for over a month. City of Escondido owns this golf course. And seem to think it's ok that I was injured by one of their golfer's. Seems they tried to locate the golfer but did not. So I sued them. And what do they do? Lie in court. Shameful.

Great little par 3 course. It has some length from the blue tees - not a bunch of overly short holes like some similar courses.Very lush and beautiful for the most part, but you'll encounter some road noise on some holes. Seemed to be well maintained, and the staff was great. I like how there are yardage markers at each location, each tee box. The course sets a premium on accuracy, and errant shots are easily lost forever.

I cannot say enough good things about this course! Beautiful, well maintained, very friendly staff, and incredibly reasonably priced!
It was my son's first time out and we rented clubs for me and him. Clubs were very nice for rentals. Course was perfect for him and challenging enough for me, too. The greens were VERY good and the rest of the course was very well maintained... nice sand traps and some good water holes. Very nice scenery, too. Make sure you rent a cart, though... there was some distance between some of the holes (at $10 for a cart you can't go wrong). Good beer selection in the clubhouse, too. All of the staff was very friendly although I must give a shout-out to David who was helping us at the end after our round and in the clubhouse. Very friendly and helpful. Gave a lot of good info about the course and the surrounding courses owned by the same management.
A very good course if you are learning but challenging enough for a duffer like myself, too. We will be back!
