I totally enjoy my workouts at this club. Daniel who always greets me at the club desk goes out his way to help. I depend on him keeping me informed about monthly club members activities. Thanks to him I’ve made lasting friendships with my fellow members.

I have enjoyed the hotel with its more modern decor and very quiet room (city view side).
However, considering that the Sports Club is directly adjacent to the Citrus Grill & Market, I had hoped they would offer a wide variety of healthy organic and plant-based choices, but it does not have that type of menu.
Alternatively, there are many diverse dining choices that are reasonably close by at the Town Center in Aliso Viejo.

Marriott markets the Renaissance Sports Center facility as "near Laguna Beach" - it is actually about 10+ miles and nearly 30 minutes drive away from that city.

Both with my wife joined the club. When we canceled membership for medical reasons, they charged us one more month. Being a private owned club, does not make them better that the rest. Dissapointed.

We won a certificate for $500 at a school event. The hotel won't honor the certificate because they say it is not in the right format. Very unfortunate for someone who paiid for a very expensive membership for five years.
