Renegade PB was the first location I became a member at in 2023. I regularly took Coach Amanda’s classes. She is incredible! Amanda knows her regulars by name. She motivates you & inspires you to be better. Her energy is contagious. I also started taking some of coach Summer’s classes. Summer is amazing! Her energy & playlists are hard to beat. She motivates you to keep going & she brings the best vibes to her classes. After moving further from the PB location, I took a couple of months off. I couldn’t find a gym in San Diego area that even came close to how incredible renegade is. Now I attend the UTC location and still love this gym & brand they’ve built!

Renegade is my favorite gym I have ever gone to. For the past 10 or so years I’ve gone to a standard gym with no classes and get my workouts done like that. I switched over to renegade to see how the classes would go and I wish I had done it sooner.
I was worried about not enough muscle building in these classes and for it to be cardio focused, which is completely fine just not my style, but it was fantastic. My muscles are sore after every class and I’m dripping sweat.
All the coaches are incredible. My personal favorite is Conor. I have changed my work schedule around so I can get to his classes during the day. The music is great, his instruction is top notch.
This gym is fantastic and I would highly suggest it for any and every person who is interested in a gym.

I absolutely love this studio. I have been going to Conor's classes 3-4 times a week for the last year and a half, and I have never had a better fitness instructor. I have a health condition and have had various injuries, and he always works with me to make sure I can comfortably complete the workouts. He's very attentive, professional, and brings a very positive attitude to the studio. I will continue to attend many more of his classes!

I would leave 0 stars if I could. Don’t go to Conor’s classes, he’s the worst. He makes you feel really unwelcome and forgets one fundamental thing, that you’re the customer. Even though I had a temporary disability to my knee, he always made sure to give me less rights than the other people, which is exactly the opposite of how you should behave in a civilized society. But after all what does he know, he’s gonna run this thing to the ground along with the bad music that comes with it.
Avoid Renegade like the plague.

Absolutely love this gym! I have been a member for a few years. Due to an injury I had to take some time off. When I got back I was welcomed with open arms and my injury was always considered. The best thing is I live about 15 minutes from 4 different locations. And most impressive, whether its Tyler in Hillcrest, or Luis in Point Loma, Conor in Pacific Beach, or Courtney in North Park you will get a quality workout with each coach making sure you are performing the moves correctly. Renegades trainers do an amazing job at creating a welcoming community while getting you into shape. 10/10

This was one of the best fitness classes I’ve taken in a while! The trainer was great, and the workout was set up to really maximize the time we were there. It was also programmed to include different options so you could really work the areas you wanted to (e.g., more shoulders or more core). Will definitely be back!

Renegade is such an amazing gym! The classes consist of a variety of workouts split amongst 3 stations, so you’re engaged the whole time! Anyone can get a great workout, no matter your fitness level. The trainers are all motivating and will help with modifications if needed. I always leave feeling accomplished!

Renegade is a great gym. The workouts are always challenging. I love how the classes a broken up into three sections, cardio, racks, and turf. I leave feeling very accomplished, sore, and sweaty. I love the flexibility this gym offers with different class packs. It works out great for my erratic schedule. All the coaches are great but is especially enjoy classes with Connor. He has a great positive attitude and is motivating.

Love this place!

I took a Renegade class with coach Zandra and the experience could not have been better. Her instructions were clear, concise and she made sure we all understood the timing and where we were at in the blocks throughout the hour long class. If anyone is unsure about giving a circuit type class a try, I would highly suggest taking one of coach Zandra’s classes for a comfortable introduction. It was a tough and fantastic workout and I can not recommend Renegade any more to anyone who is on the fence about giving it a shot.

Great experience upon arrival. Got set up with what the class run down was and a full explanation of each of the exercises (there are 3 groups, which was perfect for me). Coming in from another gym that you’re so use too is intimidating, but it was a very easy time getting settled and definitely a fun first class which I highly recommend to anyone of all fitness levels!!

Renegade in Point Loma is a hidden gem of a boot camp! Solid variety of weights and plenty of variations of exercises to keep a high-level of intensity in your training. Had Luis as the coach for the day and he was amazing! Besides his playlist keeping you motivated, he pays attention to your moves to make sure you're keeping proper form to avoid injuries and he'll hold you accountable with pushing yourself to your limits. Highly recommend!

Love these classes! Super challenging, and the coaches always give you ways to complete the workouts to your best ability. The MetCons are can’t miss classes for me, but all of the workouts are “can’t miss”… you can really tell a lot of thought goes into every set of exercises. I started coming to Renegade Fitness in Hillcrest a few months ago then had to stop due to my work sending me out of town but now that Im back I just couldn’t wait to get back in the groove here at Renegade. I was never really a gym kinda guy cause I didn’t have the motivation there like I have now because of Renegade the staff is amazing and they are there to correct us if we are doing something wrong but most importantly give us the motivation to push ourselves. First time to try Renegade College area... it was so much fun. Basically, almost an hour of AMRAPs... 3 different blocks that worked the whole body... and cardio on the curved treadmill. Losts of KB and dumbbell work, pull-ups.. walking lunnges, core... etc... high intensity, just the way I like it... Hybrid and fast! 💪🏃‍♂️

I had the opportunity to take a class at Renegade-College Area for the first time a few days ago. A friend of mine attends regularly and has been raving about the workout and instructors. I’m not sure what I was expecting but I definitely got the best workout I’ve had in a long time! The class I attended had an awesome playlist and a motivating instructor named Chadwick who was so fun and funny as well as motivating. I definitely plan to attend more classes and make Renegade a part of my regular routine as I try to get myself back into shape!

Great gym! Never thought I would find a gym that would challenge me and achieve my fitness goals within 50 minutes. Hands down best group fitness for athletes looking for a challenge and for those looking for a way to get back into a group gym setting. All of the coaches are incredible and the unique timing structures/splits are purposeful and allow for a great overall workout.

I just moved to San Diego and was looking for a gym that provided functional workouts that aren’t boring. I tried Renegade and loved it from the first class so I decided to sign up. If you live in the PB / Bird Rock / Crown Point neighborhood, I would very much recommend Renegade! The 50 minute HIIT-style classes are highly challenging and fun. Workouts vary each day targeting different muscle groups. The instructors are encouraging and actually coach on form to ensure proper technique -- special shoutout to Conor, Dylan, and Amanda! They have classes almost every hour so they are very flexible to build a routine around. You will feel results in weeks!

I’ve been going to Renegade since 2019. I used to go to Point Loma, then they built one in PB! It is the only class-style gym I have ever been a member of, and I used to be a personal trainer myself (CSCS certified). I have the knowledge to workout on my own, but I wanted to mix it up. I also had a career change and have been a bit disconnected from the fitness industry for awhile. Renegade has a great structure that gives results. The coaches have such great energy too. I don’t like the gimmick nature of most gyms (especially nationwide chains). I hate feeling like i’m being given a sales pitch. I have never had that feeling at Renegade. A great workout and great staff will sell itself, and I have been sold on Renegade for 3 years and counting!

I have been with renegade for over a year now and can’t imagine doing any other workout. The coach’s bring the energy and every day is different so you never get bored. You work a different muscle group every day which allows you to work out every day without fatiguing. Within the class, there are three stations through which you rotate. I’m not a cardio girl and only one station is cardio which is just the right amount. I am leaner and stronger since joining renegade and am not looking back.

I came to San Diego to escape the Seattle winter for a week. My friends recommended this workout class and I came twice. I loved the variety of exercises and the class breakdown. It felt daunting at first, but each instructor did an excellent job explaining the workout and the breakdowns made the class feel exciting and never boring. Before I knew it, the class was over and I burned around 700 calories (thanks Garmin). We did a lot of compound movements…so the afterburner probably meant I burned significantly more
