A special place. I was going to be in the area for a few days so I did my typical research and RENEW Yoga spoke to me like no other - and I was staying 30 minutes away. It exceeded my expectations. The building is special and the studio is spectacular, in a historic building with beautiful wooden floors that bedsides being beautiful, are super soft and a great surface for a healthy practice. I have only taken one class so far and it was with Heather, who lead a beautiful yoga practice. I can go on but I won’t. If you are in the area and want to do some yoga in a beautiful community, this is the place. 🙏

In addition to having excellent classes and teachers and a beautiful shala, this is the only studio in the county with reasonably priced classes at $17 for a drop in. Everywhere else wants 25-30 a class.

I have been practicing for 16 years and Anj's Monday night class is the only power flow class I have ever liked.

Find meaningful connections with the awesome community of renew yoga, and attend a community class on Thursday evenings with Shane- a talented young man who leads us in the songs of Kirtan (and other talented special guests) on his harmonium before a delightful quided vinyassan journey. Or experience a flawless 12 noon flow with Alex on Wednesdays and Fridays. Playful, gentle kind hearted Heather greeted me on my first visit and i truely felt I had come home. This is (another) of my beloved families. Maybe it will be for you as well. Yoga sessions with David, Miki, and others; this studio offers a nice selection of times and a schedule with a variety of talented individuals and an opportunity for us to explore and experience the joys created thru yoga. Sometimes a review is important- but this is more my testimony. Renew yoga is a powerful creative spot for self discovery, a spiritual connecting ground of beauty and light. The space is beautiful, the instructors are kind and caring and experienced. The classes are nicely formatted, you can borrow a matt and props, it is very affordable and you can have the first class free! Come and try it and stop saying you need to go to a yoga class. You will want to come back! Guaranteed. X

For me, Heather transcends the ordinary yoga teacher. Her teachings take me far beyond physical postures. As she guides us along, she consistently reminds me of the essence of my being, encouraging all of us to use the time to reconnect with the purest form of ourselves. Her skill in blending spiritual wisdom and physical practice is what makes it such an enriching and special place for me to practice. Heather is a gem in her craft, she creates a safe atmosphere that fosters inner alignment and self-awareness. I now live a half an hour away and travel just for his class.
It is definitely something to be experienced.

Hands down the most beautiful indoor yoga studio I have ever been to. You can feel the spiritual energy immediately. The instructors are excellent and you dive into a true yoga spiritual experience at this studio. Best in Petaluma for sure.
