I have been making consistent progress in the time I have been working with Jess at Resilient Body and I’m stronger week after week. It would be easy to over or under train, but Jess knows what she’s doing and teaches the movements in a way that avoids injury. At the same time, she knows when to push my limits, which is what is needed to build strength. Jess is the best and there’s nothing I could say that would do justice to her talent and experience as a coach. Also, she’s a lot of fun!

I was referred to Micah at Resilient Body just over a year ago to address constant hip pain and a nagging shoulder injury/weakness.
Over 8 months of one-on-one sessions, he helped me get stronger and completely pain-free. Micah is incredibly knowledgeable and motivating, he definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone, but always in a safe and supportive way. Some days were tough, but week by week, we worked around the pain and I could feel the shift: I was hiking pain-free, sleeping on my side again, and feeling stronger overall.
Micah doesn't just focus on the physical side, he checks in regularly, and offers solid guidance on sleep, nutrition, and work-life balance. His holistic and science-based approach has made a huge impact on my life.
I now attend the 3x/week hybrid strength classes with Jessica, who is equally amazing! She's deeply knowledgeable, incredibly motivating and has taught me so much about proper form, listening to my body, and pushing myself safely. Her classes are well-structured, progressive, and fun and the personal attention we get is unmatched. I truly look forward to them, and I’ve never felt this physically strong in my life!
Thanks to Jessica’s coaching & enthusiasm, I even completed the SR Half Marathon this year , something I never thought I’d do again after thinking my running days were behind me.
I can’t recommend Resilient Body enough. They are a genuine, professional, and reliable team that goes above and beyond for their clients. They’ve changed my life. Thank you both so much, you are truly the best.

I injured my rotator cuff while doing CrossFit back in 2018. It eventually got better, but I re-injured it in April 2024, this time it was more painful and resulted in a small tear. I developed frozen shoulder and couldn’t move my arm at all. Physical therapy wasn’t helping, and I was so discouraged that I stopped working out.
My daughter finally convinced me to go see Micah since she saw me I was in pain all the time. I am glad I did! He helped me rebuild strength in my arm, back, and all the surrounding muscles. Within three months, I started moving my arm again, and after about seven months, I had regained around 90% of my movement.
Now, a year later, I’m 100% healed and getting stronger through the strength training program with Jessica. She’s amazing, super knowledgeable, encouraging, and really pushes you to be your best. I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you Resilience Body!

At the end of 2023, I had a physical-mid-life crisis. I was in my late 40’s and all of my bloodwork was double/triple the normal range. I was also taking three different medications to control my pre-diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. I had debilitating back pain and i could not run up a flight of stairs to play with my children. I knew i had to make some changes. Thats when i came to Resilient Body to work with Micah.
Micah and Joey and Jess make up a team of knowledgeable professional trainers/coaches to help you reach your goals in every aspect of your physical growth and potential. I work with Micah the most, and through his vast knowledge and experience, as well as his patience and encouragement, i have not only grown physically, but i am stronger and more fit mentally as well!
I am happy to announce that after one year of training at Resilient Body, I am a changed person. I look and feel strong. My back pain is gone. I have the energy to play with my kids after work. And, i am off of all my medications. I am proud of my work, and Micah is also. And thats what makes this worth while.
If you’re thinking of working with a trainer (and i have tried to work with many in the past), and you want to change your life, you definitely need to come try out Resilient Body.

Micah was incredibly helpful in helping me to rehabilitate from a back injury, as well as focus on movements to create resiliency from future injury. Trainers are knowledgable, approachable and a pleasure to work with. I really appreciate the focus on building physical capacity for the long term enjoyment of the activities that are important! I am so glad I found this place! I'm a Crossfit athlete who had a knee replacement a year and a half ago. I had a difficult surgery and haven't been able to find good position again at the gym. After taking a four week class at Resilient Body I was able to not only improve my squat technique, but I was also able to find my hollow and tuck positions again, making kipping chest to bar pull ups and hand stand push-ups completely achievable again! If you are an athlete looking to return from injury, this is the place to go! The coaches are positive and inspiring. It's a joy to work with them!

Joey is very knowledgeable and skilled. I was experiencing some pain and tightness that I could not treat on my own from sports injury. Joey was able to pinpoint where the pain originated and worked with me to extend my range of motion which improved my mobility and reduced pain so I can work out safely again. Thanks Joey!
