(Updated review). I’ve been going to Revel Room San Jose for about 8 months and wanted to update my review.

I also go to the Milpitas location, however, what's especially cool about the San Jose location is that they often host workshops, pop-up classes, and unique photoshoots!

Most of the teachers who teach at the Milpitas location also teach at the San Jose studio. I’ve taken a class with almost every pole instructor and have been happy with the selection and quality of classes. I love that Revel Room Milpitas and San Jose offer a variety of skills because it encourages me to branch out and even try out a different apparatus.

Similarly to the Milpitas location, the instructors and community are very welcoming to “new to the studio” and “new to the class” students. The Revel Room community is awesome - everyone is hyping each other up even if they don’t know you.

Unless it’s a free style moment, students focus on what’s being taught in class. I find it distracting and intimidating when students deviate from what’s being taught. This is specific to me and may not bother others.

The studio is clean and spacious. There is a lobby, changing rooms, and cubbies to store your belongings. There are two bathrooms located closely down the hall, but are shared with other businesses in the building. Parking is available but can get full. Best to show up early just in case. I’ve never had to park on the street before but it’s an alternative.

You can book online or through the app. The app is easier once you get used to it and is pretty straight forward.

Revel is such a great community that has trust, encouragement, and positive energy. I have seen myself become stronger and being able to do tricks that I wasn’t able to makes me feel confident in daily life. All the instructors are amazing and encouraging. The vibe is fun and full of laughing. I love this studio so much!

Revel room is THE place togo in SJ for your pole needs! The place was clean very friendly, and super inviting. It felt like a great community and place to meet some new friends. The coaches were very nice and clear with their direction. I will definitely be coming back again!

Not only do they offer a variety of classes and workshops, but their instructors are prepared to provide regressions and progressions for students of all abilities. PLUS, the water station and ginger candies are lifesavers - true testaments to their thoughtful dedication to a positive student experience.
