I cannot recommend REVEL highly enough! The classes are fantastic and nicely geared towards small group training. Jess, the founder, is incredibly skilled, kind, and collaborative. I love meeting new people there and the equipment is state of the art. Highly recommend checking out a class!

I recently started going to Revel Training Club and have been loving it so far! I usually take the 5 PM group fitness class on Mondays with Payal, and it’s honestly one of the best workout environments I’ve been in. The gym feels super clean, private, and well laid out, and everyone is really welcoming. The classes are challenging in the best way; I love the circuit format and the fact that you still get a lot of one-on-one attention from the coach. It feels like a really supportive place to build strength and I actually look forward to working out. Highly recommend Payal’s class and I’m excited to try the other classes they offer as well!

I've been going to Revel since March and truly can't recommend it enough. The studio offers an incredible range of classes—from strength training and mobility to yoga and Pilates—so there’s something for everyone, no matter your fitness level.

When I first joined, I hadn’t touched a weight in over eight months and was feeling pretty self-conscious. But in my very first class with Jess, she immediately put me at ease. She offered thoughtful modifications and made sure I felt comfortable, supported, and challenged—without any pressure or judgment.

Now, several months in, I feel stronger, more confident, and genuinely excited to keep showing up. While all the instructors are great, I am partial to the strength classes, so I’ve got to also give a special shoutout to Grace—her classes are tough, but in the best way. The burn is real, and so are the results!

If you’re looking for a welcoming, high-quality fitness community, I highly recommend giving Revel a try.

I am so happy to have found this place. The owner Jess is incredibly knowledgeable and all her workout classes are perfect. There’s not a lot of pre-natal/postpartum classes like this - incorporating a great mix of weights so it’s just right. I can’t wait to try out all the other classes. Also, it’s so clean and the equipment is all top notch. Amazing addition to the neighborhood!

Calling all pregnant and postpartum people out there! This has been a great place for me to get back in to fitness after birth of my second baby. Wishing this was around when I was pregnant. Jess is knowledgeable. Strength Workouts are small group with intentional movements which is always my favorite type of gym. Highly recommend.

So nice to see a gym go back in at 22nd and Balboa, adding just a little bit more brightness to the central Richmond neighborhood!

Recently joined Revel for the yoga classes led by Kristen Kane and am totally loving it so far!

Kristen has designed 50-minute classes that have you moving slowly and purposefully; building heat/power, while also achieving a deep relaxing stretch. As someone that spends a ton of the day at a desk hunched over, these classes have been just what I needed to relax and release tension.

Looking forward to seeing this space thrive!

Wipawee’s yoga class is the perfect blend of mobility, deep stretching, and core work—challenging enough to build strength, yet restorative enough to leave you feeling balanced and refreshed. She has an incredible energy, and cultivates a motivating and welcoming atmosphere from start to finish. She is super knowledgeable and in tune with how to curate each class, making it feel both intentional and accessible no matter your level. Highly recommend !!

I've been working out with Jess for over a year now. I'm a middle aged woman recovering from several serious health conditions and procedures. I have a busy life, and I don't always manage to get in many workouts during the week. But just my weekly session with Jess meaningfully increased my strength, especially in the upper body where it was most lacking. Jess is incredibly patient, and never brings up my weight or diet, which is really important for me. I'm so grateful to have found her.

I have worked with Jess for years. She is my physical training Yoda. It's not just the sessions (which are based not only on my long-term goals, but also on how I'm feeling that day), but how she motivates me to make better choices outside of the gym. When I work with her consistently, I eat better, walk more often and am less judgy with myself.
She's pretty great.

I've been working out with Jess for a while now and really enjoy it. I would encourage anyone looking to get personalized guidance for a new training program, updating an existing one and getting motivated to move to reach out to Jess and RTC.

“Training with Jess was a game-changer. I asked her for a hot summer bod, and she delivered! She’s passionate about health, wellness, and creating a fun, safe environment where strong, beautiful people thrive. Jess makes fitness enjoyable and effective—she’s truly the best trainer I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait for her to open her place!”
