The night shift employee will follow you around "reracking" weights. He got uncomfortably close to me this morning. I asked him to please wait for me to be finished to rerack weights. He became argumentative. This employee is emotionally unstable and should not be left to operate without immediate supervision.

I had a horrible experience at this gym, $75 a month for a year was verbally explained as $75 for the year membership .The card stock that I was shown had plain text 75$ year membership. The only indication that it was actually $75 a month was the contract. I had to pay $200 to cancel my membership or it would have costed me $900 over the year.

This gym is better than 90% the gyms in Sacramento area for what you get in options and hours to work out. You will always have a machine to use. I cancelled my membership at planet fitness to come here..a great decision.. Let me tell you! They have everything but a basketball court and a massage chair.

Great gym. Simple, effective and affordable. They have a massage therapist on site too! Staff is super nice and never had any issue with any equipment.

Only down side is that patrons don't RE-RACK THEIR WEIGHTS. At least the evening crew.

It is very nice place but nowadays they keeping very very cold if like this i will probably quite don't recommend to my age people we working out without jacket so the front desk person don't care about ue has big yellow jacket if it is snowing he doesn't feeling any freezing so I want received this massage to the owner to take care of this issue no one will get sick

All the staff are great here. Sergio, Kristina, Jay, Ms.Cheryl, they are all great and super friendly & kind. The environment here is amazing and helps you feel comfortable. There is ton of equipment and amenities. You really get a bang for your buck. I definitely recommend.

I’ve been coming to this gym for 2 years it’s been awesome until they started a group workout class at 6 am which the back room is used at the time I would come to used it. The back room after the group class is done is literally a mess weights and equipment scattered all over even though there’s signs to put all equipment back rubber and cast iron plates all mixed up. Owner/Manager needs to pay attention and talk to group about this to please clean after themselves.

Every aspect of the gym is great expect for one area. That is the daycare in the morning as of the last few months. The ladies prior were great and were very hands on, my child loved going, would even wake up asking to go. Unfortunately, the current lady there is young and does not interact much with the kids, more like just supervising. I have walked in to pick up my child and there was rap music playing with lots of cursing. I had to ask her to change it, should have never been playing in the first place. The ladies prior were amazing, the evening lady is great as well, they all would help distract the children so the parents could sneak out, but not this current morning lady. I have tried to only go in the evenings now to avoid the morning daycare lady which is not convenient for me but if I am going to leave my son in a daycare for an hour I would like him to enjoy it. It may be that she is just young and has no children, but she shadowed the lady prior, so she should have an idea how it was run. I have noticed there are only one or two kids now in the morning, not sure if it has to do with the morning lady or not but I do know that a few of my family members no longer go in the morning for the daycare for this reason. Everything else is great. Jay is always friendly. Cheryl is great and friendly. The place is always clean.

Has a steam room, sauna, tanning, boxing, huge weight floor and huge locker rooms. I drive a longer time to go to this gym specifically because I like it more than the ones closer to where I live. It also has an indoor pool and jacuzzi, aerobics room is really spacious and nice as well. Other gyms I’ve been to get humid and muggy on the inside during busier days but Rio Linda Fitness never has that issue because the building is so well ventilated and spacious. I definitely recommend checking this gym out.

I've gone to many gyms in my life but this one's my favorite. It's got everything you need, machines, free weights, aerobic machines, treadmills, indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room, men and women locker rooms with showers, 4 different bathrooms, a massage room and a tanning room. I think that's it, oh and a big dance room, it's amazing... Oh oh and a room with punching bags next to the power lifting room, sheesh. It really has everything, I genuinely love this gym, it's like a day spa, I go home feeling great every time. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

After being a member for 3 years I can say this gym has been going down-hill. Customer service from one manager( not sure what his qualifications are) handled a situation poorly therefore if I could give half a star rating I would. Only reason id ever continue going to this gym is to see the day shift manager ( Jay )... truly top of the line and genuine guy, makes you feel welcomed and cares about the customers. Definitely deserves more credit than he gets.

Love this gym. Looks alot smaller than it actually is, this place is huge inside. There is plenty of machines and weights everything is nice and clean. Monday Tues and Wednesday and Thursday is 24hrs I believe with Fridays closing at 10pm Saturdays at 7pm and Sundays at 4 pm. Don't hold me word on the exact hours I'd call and double check lol. They do have an indoor pool and spa, a sauna, and steam room, and tanning. The bathrooms are large and lots of lockers of course showers and counter tops to get ready at. I pay 29$ a month for a year contract there was some other fees included when I signed up but I think its well worth it. You should come check it out if you live in the area.

I like the staff and the hours that they have on Monday through Thursday. I wish that they were open until 12 midnight on Friday and Saturday, but Woodland is not too far away. Jay is a great addition to the night crew because he actually cleans the steam room and sauna really good.

I joined Rio Linda Fitness on August31,2021. I paid for 6 months. Due to medical reasons I was unable to start my fitness program until now... November 1st,2021. I went into the club on November 17,2021 and asked if they would have my start up date changed
from August to November. I was not asking for a monetary refund just a date change. I was told by Lino they could not do that.Being a small town club I felt this was not very small town friendly. How hard would it have been to honor my request?Customer service at its worst in my opinion.

Front desk guy wouldn’t except me to enter when I showed him my bank statement of my week pass purchase because they lost the receipt in their filing system. Lino had me waiting fifteen minutes at 8:45 while he looked through all their receipts and wouldn’t let me in. Very poorly concentrated customer service - highly do not recommend

I have been coming to this gym for only two months now . I understand with this pandemic A lot of gyms are requiring face masks. I came to work out the other day and the manager Lino said I could not work out because I entered without a mask. I went to grab one came back in and noticed two other members walk in and he didn’t not address them about not wearing a mask and then continued to carry out a conversations with them. I think it’s is unprofessional to address one person and not everyone. It made me not only feel singled out but also gave me an impression of how the managers are interacting with members they are familiar with. This should not be taken lightly. I’m also a paying customer and should not be treated a different way then anyone else entering Rio Linda Fitness. I hope to continue to work out and see improvements and changes within the management. And a big shout out to jay for being such a great employee who keeps me coming back with his positive and energetic personality.

HUGE gym! I live nearby and this gym has it all. Lots of cardio machines. Huge free weight section. Most weight lifting machines I've ever seen in the Sacramento area. CrossFit/powerlifting area with nice mural art. Boxing section with 8 bags so bring your gloves. Weekly classes with large fitness studio. Sauna. Steam room. Locker rooms are excellent and clean. Pool still under construction, coming later they said. Honestly, Rio Linda got blessed with a gym like this. Price is not bad at all, especially for what you get. Forget Cal fit, planet fitness, etc. Go here if you're serious about getting fit and healthy! Great job management!
