RiseUp Fitness was founded to provide everyone and anyone with the tools, guidance, and motivation they need to live healthy, full lives. We firmly believe that everyone is happier when they exercise, and that a good workout shouldn’t be scary or prohibitive or overwhelming.

I have been going to rise up about 3x a week for about 4 months. First, I was struck by how “un-gym” like it is…in a good way! I felt welcomed and confident with the support of the trainers and others members, and it doesn’t smell like an icky gym. Second, the change in my body is amazing and the amount of classes and times offered makes it almost impossible to not get there. I love this place so much and feel so grateful to have found it, highly highly recommended!!!

RiseUp Rocks! This place is the real deal. Their instructors are phenomenal Athletes who know what they're doing (and they're super inspiring). The owners both teach AND take the classes so you feel very connected to them. I love that no matter what class I'm taking, I feel motivated and know that will be harder than anything I could do on my own. I don't have to think about it... I just show up, follow their instructions and am on my way to that yummy "wringed-out" feeling that happens when you've worked hard! Other little things I love - keeping up with and meeting this new community over time, the special challenges the gym puts on to add an extra motivation for those who want it, you can keep competing against yourself to get stronger (the instructors take the classes too and are on another level so you know you can keep challenging your limits), the classes change everyday and it's clean. So grateful for RiseUp!

Best work out in town! The trainers here are friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. When you arrive, you choose a piece of equipment to start on and then work your way around the room for a total of 45 minutes, as a group. The workout is based on High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and includes equipment such as a ski machine, climber, rower, bicycle, ab dolly, dumbbells, kettlebells, and strength resistance bands. The routine changes daily, ensuring you target all muscle groups each week. The cost is comparable to other gyms in the area, but the value is unbeatable.

As a retired college athlete I have struggled finding a workout that pushes me and motivates me in the way that I’m used to. Heading towards my 50th birthday, I decided to join RiseUp. Within days I knew I made the right choice. There was support, not only from the trainers, but from the other gym members. I have been going to RiseUp since early 2021 when classes were held outdoors. I love the classes and the variety of the workouts. This place is the BEST!! I have been coming for a little over 5 years now, and it has changed my life being a part of this fitness community. I have not found a more time efficient, challenging yet fun work out than what I get every day at Rise Up. The workouts are never the same, and I feel stronger than I have since high school. This is a great place if you want the motivation of working out next to people, but don’t want the pressure to perform or compete (unless you want to:) as everyone is at different fitness levels, and going their own pace. The trainers are all friendly and amazing athletes themselves who know how encourage and challenge you to push yourself. I Highly recommend this place!

Rise Up is wonderfully well-run. I have been going for years and I have never had a sub-par experience there. They are always on top of things. I like the Santa Barbara Rise Up mostly for the people. It has a strong sense of community that you can feel. Any class of the day I go there, I feel welcome and it’s fun. I highly recommend it.

Rise Up!! This community has changed my life and the way I look at weight and fitness. The owners and trainers gently challenge me, just enough to get a little bit more out of me every time, but not enough to make me feel “ less than or strained”. Doesn’t matter your size/ gender/ age, they treat everyone with the same goal.. to help us achieve what we want individually. I used to think the number on the scale was important. It’s not. RiseUp Fitness, let me tell you about this place. The community and support each member gives is unmatched. The trainers keep me motivated and on track of my fitness goals. If you need a modification the trainers will give you one, there is never any judgment. I've been to other fitness classes, by far this has been the best. I feel STRONGER mentally and physically. They have many hours, right before work and after work, which is very convenient . I always leave my workouts happy and excited for the next class. What are you waiting for? Try a class!

I've been a member here for almost two years, and I go 3-4 times per week. I get a great workout every time. The trainers are excellent - motivating, approachable, good at what they do. The crowd is very diverse - young, old, men, women - you will feel comfortable here no matter your age or fitness level.

Love the atmosphere, coaches are super helpful when I need help fixing my form. My first class I thought I was going to pass out(because I was out of shape), but after 3 weeks I was able to finally to kill it for 8 minutes on the climber and push myself beyond my limits! Not only has the scale number gone down, but I noticed a difference in my strength and endurance too. (:
