Yoga studioAbout the Club
Housed in a bright and airy sanctuary that used to be a Buddhist meditation center in the heart of Frogtown, we are a yoga and community space for all people, of all faiths, of all colors, of all shapes, of all sizes, creeds and orientations. To both honor and celebrate this uniqueness, ROAM LA teachers come from a broad spectrum of lineages and modalities, offering something for everybody and every body.
All ROAM LA classes, whether basics or advanced, pride themselves in marrying art with science – exquisite sequencing with a deep knowledge of the human body. Allow the soundtrack of your breath to be your guide or practice to beautifully and purposely curated music. Be prepared to be inspired, uplifted and transformed.

This studio has the most excellent teaching at any level , because the teaching is so specific . Good for any level. Even if you are new to yoga.
If you have a strong practice already … you will love Roam .
They have the best teachers in LA.
You will be challenged !

I've enjoyed the classes and can feel myself getting stronger. There are some really good instructors. I also like how the studio is an old meditation building.

This is my absolute favorite yoga studio in Los Angeles. I started attending Roam classes in 2019 and I love them for the spirit and humor they bring to close. Jenn and Chad are amazing teachers and they set the tone for the whole place. Everyone who works there is friendly, helpful and good at explaining for beginners or long time practitioners. Go for the great classes and stay for the community and love!

I am so grateful to have Roam in my life. This studio has become my second home - I can’t imagine how I would’ve gotten through the last two years without it. I leave every single class feeling connected to a beautiful community of teachers and students who keep me grounded. Some of my closest friends teach here and from the bottom of my heart this place is a temple of warmth and clarity that doesn’t exist in other studios on the east side. If you haven’t taken a class - you absolutely should and learn from the most wonderful teachers in LA.

Over the past two years, ROAM LA has become like a home to me. The space itself is warm and calming, and feels more like an intimate place of true practice than a sterile corporate studio. I’ve taken classes with six of the instructors, and found them all to be excellent - with a deep and thorough understanding of anatomy and sequencing, and each with their own brand of unique and supportive energy. Highly recommend this place to anyone searching for a true home studio on the East Side.

ROAM LA exceeded all of my expectations of a yoga studio. While there are hundreds to choose from in LA, the staff, atmosphere, and classes were unlike any other. The community they have fostered is beyond warm and welcoming. Their staff is well-trained and super kind always looking to help. I am truly obsessed!!!

I am new to the area and was looking to find a studio to continue my practice. Unfortunately, this studio is not as warm or welcoming. Nor do I feel it was as inclusive as I had hoped for.
Which is a shame because they do have one really sweet and caring instructor (Zoe) that has an amazing way of leading her practice (and does make you feel welcome). And Although I did enjoy her classes, I cannot say the same for the other classes I attended (I tried different instructors at different times). Classes are great, but the overall atmosphere is equally as important to me and I did not find that combination here. I would still recommend to give it a try and see if maybe you have a different experience.

I hate to give a yoga place a bad review but I feel it’s warranted. This used to be a great studio but has sadly gone downhill. Front desk staff was hostile when I politely informed them that the studio needed to be swept. My expensive headphones were stolen from the cubby hole. Nobody cared. They refuse to have classes outdoors for some reason, even though that’s what many students want (and frankly the only reason I started coming here in the first place). And if you care about quality of instruction, there are only 1-2 actually great teachers here.

I have been coming to this studio weekly for their Midweek Yin class with Cristina, and I've loved it every single time. Slow paced, holding poses for minutes for maximum stretch and renewal of your muscles - the perfect reset for a week of difficult workouts. A peaceful joy and reprieve. Love this studio and look forward to exploring their other classes.
