i love this studio so much! i go to pilates 3x-4x times a week so i’m constantly going to different studios but i ALWAYS come back to rock salt (only san mateo). they have the best instructors here who are welcoming, caring, respectful, and attentive. they check in with us after the session to make sure we had a good workout and how we feel after. this studio and amy is the reason i started taking pilates seriously because that’s how much i loved it after taking one class! love rocksalt <3

Hands down my FAVE studio in the Bay Area. You’ll be shaking and dripping sweat by the end of class. I promise you. I incorporate these classes into my weekly routine along with weightlifting and cardio. It’s amazing. I adore all the instructors!

I did my first class today with Kerri and she was an AMAZING instructor. I’ve had not the best experiences with other Pilates studios and this has changed my mindset on Pilates. I did her stretch class but still broke out in a sweat. She’s so welcoming a great instructor and loved the music playing. Looking forward to more classes

My mom goes to this studio and she absolutely loves it! She’s about 5 classes in and looks forward to her session every week. She tells me the classes are great and the studio personnel are just as great.

My Favorite Pilates studio!!
Most challenging and rewarding Pilates classes I’ve taken. Monica is an amazing instructor. I love her energy she brings before, during, and after the class.

As a new mom it's great to find a friendly studio to get me back on track! Love the instructors and energy.
The studio could use a professional cleaning person at the end of the day. Even with everyone wiping down what they used after every class, the mats/floors are not the best.
Update:
Workouts are great, but the studio is becoming more cruddy. The past few times there's been hair on the machines and floor (early morning sessions). Also, when you wipe the mats down, the wipes turn black with obvious dirt. As much as I love some of the instructors, I may start to look for a studio that takes its students' health and safety more seriously.

I'm a new mom. I have been taking classes here for the last few weeks. Instructor Monica is very encouraging and pushes you to do better and if she see's you struggling, is happy to suggest modifications to the workout. There are 10 people per class and 1 instructor which is great. The music is amazing too. I have taken strength & sweat classes so far and enjoy them both.

Not my type of Pilates…
Showed up 10 minutes early to the class and there was no warm up of any kind before going into some pretty intense movements.
The instructor rushed through demonstrations and if you weren’t a regular, it’s a hard pace to match.
I booked a stretching class with the expectation that it was more relaxed but that was not the case whatsoever. It was incredibly energized and nonstop, more like Cardio Pilates.
Studio and the entire experience just felt cold, unwelcoming and unremarkable.

I love RockSalt! I have been taking classes here for the last few months and as advertised, am finding it addictive! All the instructors are super encouraging, the music is great, and I love that each class is different - there is just enough structure that I know roughly what to expect, with enough new and different moves every time to keep it interesting. I definitely recommend checking it out!

If you are looking for a fun, high energy pilates studio then look ni further. Rock Salt is my favorite studio hands down. From the awesome instructors who create the most rewarding workout, along with their amazing playlist that keeps the class going! You'll definitely want to come back for more. I know I have, and will continue to keep coming back!

Started going here about 2 months ago and have been so happy with my experience at this studio and with my results. Every instructor is so kind and positive but they also push you to do even better each class. Shoutout to Monica for always making me tremble and sweat in her classes - she's amazing!!

I generally really like this pilates studio. There's not too many people per class so the instructor can help you. There's usually new people on the weekends. The class really depends on the instructor though. Krisha's class was a waste of time because she didn't give any feedback for everyone's poor form and did not explain things well.
