I love row house!! In forty five minutes you get a great full body workout. The coaches do a great job at leading you through the course and pushing the pace. Row house is great for all levels of fitness and it really helps you increase your power and agility. I highly recommend row house to anyone who wants a great workout in a low pressure environment.

Classes were great. Management wasn’t helpful. I purchased a class bundle for a monthly deal they had and they charged me for the deal price. Then I noticed they also charged me for the regular price too. When I brought this too their attention, they removed the regular price but then they deleted all my classes I originally purchased. When I brought this to their attention they chose to ignore me. So I paid for services I didn’t receive and I was pretty bummed about it.

Love the Row House in Foothill Ranch. Been a member for over 5 years and got the founders price when we first signed up for unlimited. They always mix it up with theme rows and Bingo challenges near Christmas.

Both my husband Andy and I have been coming to this studio since it opened 5 years ago. We got the unlimited membership and find ourselves coming 4 to 5 times a week. I just hit my 5 million meters rowed milestone, and Andy is at 8.6 million meters. Love how our progress is tracked on the app.

Row house provides an excellent low impact cardio workout and mixes in strength training to boot. You can join as a novice and grow in strength. You can join as a seasoned athlete and push yourself in ways you didn’t think you could. I use it as training for my running and I have seen my endurance build and my PR’s are coming in fast. The coaches are encouraging and knowledgeable. They provide a unique experience for each member. It is worth the cost because the feeling I get after a workout is priceless.

Welp, it's been about 2 years since I've joined, and I still love coming here! One thing that continues setting Row House apart from other studios is the intentional but natural community building that goes on in every class and before and after class. It feels great and it's also really nice getting to know people of the broader community as well!

They also switch up the schedule every so often, and there are special class types throughout the year. I really appreciate the benchmark classes and how they keep track of metrics as well - it helps keep me on track for goals!

Everyone from the coaches, the front staff, to other rowers, it continues to be a great experience for me each and every time I come in.

Here are a couple of tips I've learned over the past couple of years to get the most out of the Row House experience:
- Be friendly and authentic - there's no judgement here!
- Establish a baseline average split time for class and try to meet or beat it each time, regardless of class type
- Take advantage of the Lake Forest Yiftee BOGO sales to save on things like merch
- Speaking of, for metrics people like myself, hook up a heart rate monitor!
- If you don't know - ask! Everyone there is really friendly and helpful
- Take a few benchmarks and monitor your own progress

What a great find! Low impact cardio, core, and strength it’s all here. But what sets Row House apart from others is the Coaches at Foothill Ranch. Melissa, Amber, Jace and others are there for you. They make it fun while pushing you to be the best you can be. I love the Row House, you need to check it out!

I explored different gyms with free trials and classes this summer to try and find something that I enjoyed and would make me WANT to come and work out. I found it here!

I have been a member since August and am loving it. It is low impact, but a full body work out. The team here is so friendly and genuine, they really care. I am not a gym person, but have never felt out of place. This is the only workout I've ever done where I said "it's done alteady?!" at the end... come and try it out...for free!

I bought a few classes to try out Rowing. I wasn't expecting to like it so much. Once I got the hang of it I loved going. The classes have different workouts. The instructors are great. It's a fun way to get some exercise in. All ages and skill levels are welcome. It's like a family.

Row House is a great place for a fun workout. The low-lighting, music-pumping atmosphere keeps me coming back every day. The staff is kind, professional, and frequently checking in to see if there’s anything they can do to make me more comfortable.

Say NO to their free stuff, unless of course if you have free money and time EVEN after you don't want their lessons. We didn't! We are mothers of young children who rather spend that time and money on our kids!!!

Me and my friend had a bad experience. They promised 3 free classes to try out which was good to try out and see if it's a good fit for us. Then we enrolled for the first month and asked clearly at the time of enrollment if we can cancel the membership if we are not happy or don't want to continue the next month. They told us as long as we told them 5 days before the last day of the month(auto renewal day) we are good to cancel. As explained to us I reached out to them 5 days earlier (in person on Tuesday), they said reach out to GM and she can cancel( emailed GM on Wednesday) blah blah, I followed up again next day(in person on Thursday) and yet on last day(Sunday) they charged us for the next month! Then when we called asking why, they claimed they have a different policy and we will be charged one extra month before cancellation. When asked to talk to GM, they said she is unavailable on Sundays and that she will reach out back to us on Monday. 6 days of followup!!

So basically don't get lured by their 3 free classes because if you do and like it and start the lessons you are not committed to one month of classes but two months of classes!! Never have I seen this kind of policy where you have to tell 30 days in advance to cancel next month's membership!!!

Finally after multiple follow ups wasting days and hours of time, they finally refunded us. If only they spent the same energy and time in luring us, on allowing easy cancelations this post wud not have been needed. And the whole experience would have been a good one, now it's just a horrible memory that validates never take free stuff no matter what they promise!

I’ve been coming here for exactly 10 classes over the last 3 weeks and will hit the 50k benchmark next class. I’ve only participated in the 530-6am express time slot so can’t really comment on the regular 45 minute class or the marathons and half marathons they do that would probably lead to my death.

There have been 2 coaches I’ve worked with thus far (Jace and Crystal); I have my favorite but both are very positive, professional and helpful. Nothing but positive feedback there.

Class structure varies which is probably helpful, but I’m far from Mr. Fitness so I can’t really comment intelligently about what is good/better/best on that front. It’s usually a good portion of rowing followed by some stretches and weights and then a good portion of rowing. It certainly seems like the structure is purposeful and instructors are well-versed in appropriate postures, etc. whenever they are asking you to do some specific stretch or squat.

Two areas I can think of that would make the program better for me personally:

1) Increased time slots, particularly those later in the evening or any “open gym” times where I could come by without a class going. As it stands the only slot that really works for me is 530-6 in the AM.

2) I’ve noticed I work better/harder when the music resonates with me which translates to classic/80s rock, hip hop/pop. Essentially songs I recognize. I’ll admit that even though I’m not quite 40 my musical preferences lean towards things an older crowd might appreciate. The newer material they typically play is lost on me entirely. I’m sure I’m the exception here, but it’s worth noting because I frequently find myself annoyed by music I’m having a hard time following and I’m trying to block it out vs work with it. When it is a track I’m into, all of a sudden I’m getting better performance.

The above two factors has me wondering if the investment of the same rowing machine they use would be a good purchase at $1000. I haven’t decided yet. I have no doubt that formalized classes keeps me less likely to skip workouts, especially given prior to this experience I never stuck with any workout routine past 2 classes. That clearly speaks positively about the rowhouse product. How much of that is confined to the rowing activity itself and how much is attributable to the staff/environment it’s hard to say. At least for now I’m sticking with the classes though.

Finally, pricing is seemingly on the high side, but I’m not exactly going around pricing gyms and such. Remember, I’m not Mr. Fitness. Their best value of $150/month for unlimited classes seems steep to me. If you’re rowing daily but skipping weekends, that’s $7.50 each class. They start you off on a deal that is a lot less than that…but after 3 months I’m not sure if there are more limited time deals or if the $150 rate is firm. Maybe I’m not valuing the boutique gym experience highly enough.

Bottom line, I like this place, I like the staff, I’m getting myself in a better spot physically which is probably the most important and it’s all of 5 minutes from home. I’d like to have better music and increased time slots, but these aren’t deal breakers. If nothing else I’d encourage you to try it out for the free class. Very little to lose when the first class is free!

I am not a member but often visit Mustard Cafe and watch the rowing class at the Row House. This morning, as Stacie, the coach, was conducting her class, I could not help but to notice her perfect movement mechanics and extremely well communication and instructions to her class. Doing posture and movement analysis and treatments on patients with musculoskeletal issues, I am very familiar with the principles of Postural Neurology and functional movement and if Stacie was my student, she would have gotten an A+ in my class. 👊

I will be recommending her to my patients who live in the area for sure and you should consider doing a class with her.

I joined Row House in Foothill Ranch, before they actually opened up back in July and I'm so glad! All the coaches are super nice, and very motivating. Love the workouts which use 85 percent of the body's muscles, giving me a calorie-burning full body workout. I have definitely seen an improvement in my weight, and most important for me, my body strength.
Thank you Row House!!

I really enjoyed the class I took there. The room is setup basically like a spin class except with rowing machines. It is darkened during the classes so there is no pressure or feeling of being watched. The instructor was great. ( I can’t remember his name). The only issue is the price. I’m sure it is t out of line for a boutique style fitness center but when u compare it to big name gyms it’s like 3-5x the price. I really wish I could afford to join because it was a great workout and didn’t kill my back and joints. I was super sore the next two days but I’m also pretty sedentary and 100+ lbs overweight. So the fact that I made it thru the class and want to go back should tell u something. It really was fun and one of the rare fitness things I could see myself doing. Just wish I could afford it.
