Rumble Los Olivos has been incredibly disappointing. I canceled my membership over a month ago verbally and in writing with multiple confirmations. Still, my wife and I were each charged $98 again.

They take over a week to respond to emails, never answer the phone, and make it nearly impossible to resolve anything. While they are partially on ClassPass, most class times require a full membership, which locks you in and is hard to cancel with made up rules.

There’s no accountability from management and no urgency to fix problems. Honestly, Jacob is the only reason the lights are still on, he’s the one person there who consistently shows up and brings energy. The rest of the experience? Unreliable, frustrating, and not worth it. You’re paying a premium price for a cookie-cutter workout with zero personalization or real support.

Skip this place.

A great workout but god forbid you want to cancel your membership, they just ignore your request and keep charging you!

I had high hopes for Rumble Boxing based on the hype, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. The class felt more like a nightclub with boxing gloves than a real workout. The music was way too loud, the room was dark to the point of being disorienting, and the instructor seemed more focused on hype than technique. There was minimal guidance on form, and no corrections were offered — which is dangerous for beginners. For the price, I expected a lot more structure and professionalism. Definitely not worth the money.

Rumble Boxing has truly become my second home away from home. From the moment I walk in, I’m greeted by the friendliest front desk staff who make you feel instantly welcome. The coaches are not only incredibly knowledgeable but also so personable and motivating — they push you to be your best while making the experience fun and energizing. The music is always on point, keeping the energy high, and the facility itself is spotless, which just makes the whole experience even better. Plus, the members here are amazing — everyone is so nice and inclusive, creating a real sense of community. I’m so grateful to have found Rumble and can’t imagine my routine without it!

I’ve been attending Rumble Boxing for about a month now, and it’s quickly become one of the highlights of my routine. If you’re familiar with Orange Theory, the format will feel familiar—there’s a floor side (weights) and a bag side (cardio), and the workout flies by thanks to the energy and variety.

Since I typically go to evening classes, I’ve gotten to train with Jakob and Jess, and they are phenomenal coaches. With so much happening on both sides of the room, it blows my mind how they manage to lead everything so seamlessly. The exercise screens are super helpful, especially for visual learners like myself, and help keep the workout flowing.

The vibe starts strong the second you walk in, thanks to Candace at the front desk—she’s always smiling and welcoming, and it’s such a great energy boost before and after class. The gym is clean, organized, and well-maintained, with a water station, lockers, stocked bathrooms, and even fresh towels. I also really appreciate that they sanitize between classes, which makes me feel even better about working out there.

The only minor thing I’d change is the spacing between the bags—it can feel a little tight, and I’ve bumped into classmates a couple of times. But honestly, it’s a small trade-off for how well they maximize the space.

They offer a variety of class formats, which I really appreciate. I personally enjoy the 5v5 with Jess—you only switch sides once, which keeps the flow super smooth. That said, I also value the standard format with two switches since it builds in a nice break between the more intense parts of the workout.

Lastly, let’s not forget the music—the playlists are always fire and give me the perfect soundtrack to take out some stress on the bag.

All in all, Rumble has been an awesome experience and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-energy, supportive, and fun way to work out!

Not a Real Gym – Just a Hangout Spot

This place is dark, depressing, and not worth it if you’re serious about working out. The so-called “trainers” don’t even look athletic, and they seem more like casual gym-goers than professionals. Save your time and money

I highly recommend Rumble Boxing Los Olivos!

I recently concluded a 5 Class package, including “60 Minute Level Up” and several from the “Signature O.G.” series. I also got a pair of Rumble Boxing gloves and wraps that are working out very well.

Victor and his team consistently went above and beyond to welcome me. (Thanks again!)

All of the classes were high energy and well-organized, with easy to follow cues audibly from a knowledgeable instructor and also visually projected above mirrors where you could self-monitor your form. I believe the classes could be modified to any fitness level. Adding to the energy was the music, lighting, and a cool photo collage on the rear wall with different celebrities from sports, movies, TV, music, etc.

There was an even mix of exercises on the bags and floor/benches/with dumbbells of different weights. The bags were uniquely shaped like teardrops…great for all hand strikes especially uppercuts which are harder to throw on other bags I have seen. Safety-wise, they were sturdy enough for hand strikes but not so rigid that they had no give. They were suspended at different heights, for persons of different heights and/or who want to work on higher vs. lower strikes.

All of the facilities were very clean, stocked, and well-maintained.

The class booking and check-in process was simple to navigate and their website has a lot of features to track your activity and otherwise make the most of your membership.

I will definitely consider Rumble Boxing Los Olivos next time I am in the market and I encourage you to do the same. Good luck!

They are not honest about the plans and policies. They didn’t cancel my month to month plan and when I asked, they just suggested to go and dispute on my credit card instead of not charging me.

The manager pitched me on a month-to-month plan, only to keep running payments months after I canceled, then pass the blame to a former employee. I've been to many gyms, and couldn't be more disappointed in the low-level service at Rumble Los Olivos. This applies to the "new management" as well. Will be warning my entire podcast audience.

I went to ONE class at Rumble Boxing. I signed up after, even though a little hesitant as I have a full time job and have two kids. Rumble was 15 miles away from me and difficult commute. After a day, I realized it wasn't manageable and requested to cancel immediately. They gave me the run around and did not reply to my email either. I had to go back and forth many times to cancel and they kept trying to charge my card. Their GM, Dalaney is extremely rude and keeps emailing me 15 times and threatening to send the charge to collections if I don't pay for a service I cancelled immediately. Moreover, they want me to pay for 2 months, which is upto 430 dollars almost. I work very hard for my money. I also work for an ecommerce company in customer service and we are very reasonable with our customers and forgo extra fees and honor cancellations, even if they are outside the terms. It makes me think they are desperate for members and money. Stay away! Completely unreasonable. I returned back to my local 9Round. Even when I had to previously cancel my membership, they did not bother me with next month's fees or termination fees, etc. The incessant amount of emails I am receiving from this business after cancellation is absurd. Moreover, constantly trying to run my card for 209 dollars.

Steph, my big from my university sorrority, recommended this place to me so I can learn how to box in a fun, easy-to-learn way. I showed up late so I wasn't able to take the class, but it is a far drive for me. I hope if I'm ever able to make it to a class, I will be able to enjoy it. I have a good feeling I will :)

Update: i was finally able to take an intro class with Courtney, I had a lot of fun. I enjoyed the music. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. I love that they have a lot of flexible times and class options too! 😊

On Monday April 10, 2023. We took Alex’s class and we had a great time. The ladies that checked us in were very helpful. I am a member of Rumble Boxing in Frisco Texas and they were able to accommodate my friends and I. Thank you Oscar for suggesting that I could bring my friends.

This was my first time trying a boxing based workout and it has been incredibly good to say the least. The instructors and staff are very friendly and they spend time to teach you the basics before jumping into this high intensity workout. Special shoutout to our instructor Trisha. She is an outstanding instructor and an amazing person. Her attention to details is top notch and she ensures that we extract the most out of each and every session.

These classes are so much fun!! 45 minutes of a super efficient workout! The structure of the class is great; the punches are broken down at the beginning of the class and then each move is explained to make sure the workout is executed with the proper technique. Trisha is AMAZING! She has outstanding instructor skills, pays attention to the details, keeps the class highly motivated and is just unstoppable. My husband and I love this workout, I’m so happy we found this place!!! <3

I moved from NYC to the SoCal area last year. I was ecstatic to find a Rumble in the north OC area. Julian and Chevy are some of the best trainers I’ve had. They are the reason I wanted to test out a monthly pass.

Cons:
I will say this Rumble is not similar to those on the east coast.
- The space is extremely small. There are no showers, the bags are too close together and the only areas to get ample space is on the sides or corners which are booked very quickly.
- I had credits from Rumble but they can’t be used at this location. The Irvine location has a separate app and support team altogether.
- Service is sporadic. I have people who texted and called me after I booked a pass offering me discounts on said passes.
- For distance reasons I cancelled my membership via email and then text to follow up with no response. Two months after reaching out l realized I was still being charged. No response via email or text. I had to reach out to my bank to resolve.

Pros
- If you love rumble as much as I did you’d be ecstatic to find one here
- Slightly cheaper than nyc prices
- Great instructors
