Tried to get a try out class. One of the managers called me to schedlue the class. Everything was going well until he asked me where in LB I lived. Once I gave him my proximity he proceeded to tell me thar they are on 2nd and Pch which I knrew that as I go there all the time. He proceeded to tell me prices and I told him they were a little high especially for 4 classes per month. He then said, well you need to understand we are Located at the high end side of LB and maybe the gym you went to was not in the nice side of town. He in other words said I couldnt afford the gym because of the area where I currently live. Im sorry but if that is the mentality the employees have towards prospect members, then I dont need to be a member of Rumble. Thanks but no thanks. I rather take my money where I can be appreciated and helped.

Started on ClassPass and ultimately switched to a membership—love that I don’t have to sacrifice boxing or strength-training for the other, the class schedule is varied in a way to create a cohesive workout routine, and that they actually teach technique and defense, rather than just approaching boxing as cardio. Rumble takes away all the stress of having to plan out my workout regime. 😅

The coaches are motivating without being intimidating, and they do an amazing job of breaking things down so both beginners and more advanced boxers feel challenged.
I love how the classes combine boxing rounds with strength training; it’s the perfect balance of cardio and conditioning. Every time I leave dripping in sweat but feeling so accomplished. The community is also super welcoming, which makes it easy to stay consistent and actually look forward to working out.
If you’re looking for a workout that’s fun, empowering, and seriously effective, Rumble is it.

came across Rumble Boxing through an ad, took their free introduction class and was hooked- no pun intended. I alternate between morning and afternoon classes, but regardless of what time of day I come in at, I ALWAYS leave drenched in sweat with a smile on my face, it's so much more than a workout class and I'm grateful I dropped in when I did!

Kari W/k is hands-down one of the best trainers at Rumble. . . She combines a deep knowledge of boxing with a fantastic energy that makes every class a blast. . . It's rare to find someone who is so skilled and genuinely passionate about teaching others. . . She creates a fun and welcoming environment where you can learn proper technique and push yourself, all while having a great time. . .

Rumble is the best way I know to get the right numbers on my scale - not just weight, but bone mass and skeletal muscle, visceral fat and subcutaneous fat. With the skills, the workouts and weights, I know I’m protecting my spinal structure, my posture and my heart.
These coaches are phenomenal and the classes fun and upbeat with lots of hours to choose from.

It is the most fun gym I have ever joined. Trainers are exceptional. Love the music and the dimming of lights. Boxing has really helped me.release stress. Core exercises on the bench part of class are really a gamechanger for me. TY for the early and late class times. Convenient location for me, too!

I have reached 46 classes with Rumble Long Beach and wanted to wait to write a review to give my perspective.
A little background about me: I am a pocket-sized fun foodie. 😆
Some family health issues caused us to pivot, and what was normal to us no longer existed. Stress and depression pretty much took over. Being a full-time caregiver and leaving my new career in the beauty industry was getting to me in a negative way.
I was “doom scrolling” on social media when a Rumble ad popped up. I was intrigued and inquired. The rep gave me info and prices. At that very moment, all I could think about was being able to punch 🥊 something. The thought that I would be able to defend myself came second. I was sold.
I picked the 8 classes a month plan since this was my first time back on a fitness journey. I’ve been on many fitness journey and tend to quit after a couple of weeks. I downloaded the app and waited for the gym to open. Unfortunately, my dad needed surgery, and we were not close to Rumble. I asked if they could pause my membership until my dad was discharged, and they worked with me to do so. 🤗
I was finally able to book and took my first class. My first trainer was Kaylee. First of all, I’ve never boxed before. I was never able to commit to working out consistently and would just stop going. Kaylee picked a good playlist and taught us the movements we would be doing and what weights would work best. She counts down and lets you know when it’s time to change up, keeping you in rhythm. You go at your own pace, and if you have health issues, let them know; they will recommend different movements to keep you safe.
After that first class, I was hooked. I was hooked on the energy, the vibe, and the community here at Rumble. Kaylee is one of many trainers here. You got Christian, Joe, Kari, Amelia and Daniella. All the trainers are really good, caring, fun, full of energy, and positive motivators.
I realized that I was really enjoying Rumble. I love the bench workout (the cardio we all need without having to run and ruin my knees) and then the bag time. I think I have punched my anger issues all out 🤣.
I have made and will continue to make new friends who are also on their fitness journey.
Rumble definitely has a place in my heart. It’s my home away from home for an hour. 46 + classes in, and I have lost 8 lbs. I am blessed to be able to do a boxer sit-up (which was nowhere to be found when I first started). I am working out almost 7 days a week. My mindset, spirit, and body have evolved into the best version of me. I’m looking great and feeling great.
My confidence has boosted. I work out in a sport bra. 😜
There’s no judgement; just good vibes.
If you are looking for a positive community to help you get back on your fitness journey or if you just want to try boxing, hop into Rumble Long Beach. The community they have built is so inspiring, full of good energy, smiles and laughter all through the gym.
Drop in or become a member. Besides my Costco membership, this is my second favorite membership.
I hope to see you all there! 🫶🏼

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt it was necessary this time.
My experience at Rumble Long Beach was incredibly disappointing. I was initially told I couldn’t join an intro class with my friend because I’m not a new client, even though I planned to use my ClassPass credits. Later, I was informed that I’d be allowed to join just this once since I was bringing a friend, which I appreciated. With that confirmation, I cleared my Saturday morning, and both my friend and I booked nannies for our kids and planned around it.
A few days before the session, I received a phone call saying that either I’d need to purchase a Rumble membership or my friend would have to pay, completely contradicting what I was originally told. My friend had even received an email offering a free intro class. The lack of organization and clear communication not only wasted my time but also my friend’s.
To make matters worse, I wasn’t asking for a free class or trying to avoid paying. I was fully prepared to use my credits. However, the way they handled the situation made me feel uncomfortable, as though I was trying to take advantage of them, which was both disrespectful and unnecessary.
This experience was unprofessional and frustrating. I won’t be returning to this location, and I wouldn’t recommend Rumble Long Beach to anyone. If you value your time and expect professionalism, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! Not only was the class itself exactly what I needed. Challenging yet easy to follow. But the woman that work there are AMAZING! After my class, the owner came straight up to me and introduced herself with a beautiful huge smile on her face. It was the warmest welcome I have ever had at a studio. I highly recommend this studio. Especially if you are looking for a great workout in a warm, welcoming community!! :)

Rumble Boxing Long Beach is a real treat because you get your workout done in 45 minutes and don't even feel it because it's so much fun. Lights are off, music is on, and the coaches are fire getting you through your workout; you'll walk out feeling great every single time.
You start by choosing your own start to the adventure: picking to start either on the bags or the floor. It doesn't matter where you choose to start because the workout has you rotating equally between both sides so you don't miss a thing. The workouts are also organized weekly to hit upper body, lower body, and full body.
The studio has lockers, towels, and a water bottle fill station. Bring your own wraps and gloves, or you can buy wraps and rent gloves if you forget yours or until you buy your own. The only downside is there are no showers at this location, so plan your visit accordingly.
The coaches and front desk staff are friendly, helpful, and encouraging, creating a positive environment and community. Extra shoutout to Coach Kaylee who challenges you to be your best self while keeping things fun, and Coach Christian who always has the best energy!
People usually say working out gives you more energy, but for me I haven't found that to be true until Rumble. If you're curious, give it a try!

I joined Rumble LB as a founding member as I’d been waiting for a solid boxing studio / gym in the area. For some context, I’ve been boxing for about 6-7 years on and off. I value consistency in training, cleanliness, and genuine interest in a fitness community.
Facilities: Everyone has their own water bag/work bench, a variety of weights, plenty of fresh towels & wipes, glove rentals available if you’re new/trying things out, two bathrooms, always a selection of merch, cool mural of Snoop and Long Beach on the walls. During the workout, there are fans and AC, but real talk—most of the instructors don’t turn them on or only do it intermittently. Some people prefer this, I personally don’t. But I guess it makes me punch harder? Parking is super easy if you come in the morning, a bit harder in the afternoons/nights/weekends—which is to be expected.
Workouts: Style varies across instructors (see below) and focus varies depending on the day. But each workout I’ve ever attended has always been solid—whether there’s 2 or 20 people in class (I go 3-4 times a week). Generally, you get to box half the session, work on strength the other half. There are longer classes on the weekends if that’s your thing. I also once asked if they plan on integrating more advanced boxing classes and they informed me that’s the plan, but their priority for now is in growing with the member community they’ve started out with. Mad respect for that.
Community: All staff and trainers are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They love to celebrate member milestones and welcome new folks with enthusiasm and excitement. I’m gonna mention a few by name here, only bc they’re the ones I see on the regular:
Stacy and Aaliyah – These front desk ladies are always quick to wish you a good morning/hello and they’ve helped me out with my many merch purchases. =) They are also the ones responsible for the celebratory milestone illustrations on the lockers.
Kaylee – Kick-ass, polished, intelligent head trainer. Kick-ass because she’ll push you, polished because she conducts her classes efficiently, and intelligent because she can explain the reason and functionality of the boxing / workouts in layman’s terms or as a kinesiologist. This is important bc I find boxing to be a very mental sport. If you understand WHY you’re doing something, you get better at doing it.
Christian – My personal fave, probably bc his classes are more suited to my own personality. Not a lot of fluff. You go in, you get sh*t done, and if you’re lucky, he’ll throw out a random comment or joke that makes you laugh no matter how many more punches or burpees you have left to do. Also knows how to pivot. One time someone set off a fire alarm at 2nd & PCH so we had to vacate the building in a middle of a workout. He said, no big deal, we can go outside and keep working. And so we did.
Kari – Literally the NICEST, most positive person I’ve ever met. She’s the one to go if you’re bringing new people or are a new boxer yourself. She definitely checks on form, makes sure to mention modifications, and never stops encouraging you. Very personable, checks in with people after class, and you can tell she loves being an instructor and engaging with members.

#Wow! Beautifully ran studio. I applaud this establishment for great environment for the members. If you are a novice to average to expert level of fitness. I can guarantee that you will break a sweat. I come about four times a week and have felt a difference and lost a few pounds shed fat and gained muscle!
Rumble Boxing Long Beach thank you for helping the community have fun working out and bettering our lives by developing healthy habits of exercise both cardiovascular and strength training.
Staff and Trainers all are great. I feel welcomed here and never had a problem. Make a decision if you want to get healthy and be apart of a great loving and caring community here at Rumble Long Beach!

Long story short: Rumble Long Beach has been one of the best things that I have ever done.
I am approaching my 100th class, and each one has been nothing less than fun, empowering, and therapeutic. That goes for the class itself, the instructors, the staff, and the wonderful people I have met along the way.
I've done my fair share of fitness classes: Barry's, OTF, yoga, pilates, bootcamp, gym classes (Gold's and LA Fitness), and nothing takes the cake like Rumble. Not knocking the other classes, but Rumble has definitely stood out in the best way possible. What makes it stand out the most is the best fitness community that I have the pleasure to hit bags and lift weights with. If you're new to the boxing scene, it's completely normal to feel intimidated and worry that you won't be "skilled" enough to try. That's how I felt prior to joining Rumble. Plus, as someone with periodic knee injuries/issues, I definitely feel safe here even when I go all out. Everyone at Rumble will make you feel completely supported from pre to post class and there is absolutely nothing to worry about.
It's really hard to play favorites of the instructors because honestly they're all amazing. If you're trying to catch a particular vibe, here's my personal breakdown of each instructor:
Kaylee - Head coach, she will kick. Your. Butt. But in the best way! She's very big on form and very attentive to everyone taking the class, so if you're fresh to Rumble LB I suggest starting with her. You'll definitely feel well taken care of in her hands. She's so full of life and energy, and you'll definitely get that huge sense of accomplishment and confidence post class. You can never go wrong with Kaylee!
Joe - OOF. Another coach who will definitely kick your butt. He'll call you out and for sure let you know when you can definitely level up on the weights. He's definitely not for the weak. The big thing with Joe is intention and purpose and making every move count! He really gets you to tap in and lay out all your burdens and excuses out on the bag. I definitely appreciate Joe for when I'm in an emotional rut.
Kari - Ladiessss, you'll definitely have a great time with Kari. Her playlists are QUNT and I love the little dance breaks even when she gets you on the verge of plopping on the floor. She teaches the kind of classes that make you wanna go yaasss.
Christian - This guy got jokes. I always laugh during his classes. He's super chill and gives off that older brother vibe. His classes are always a fun time and in my experience, he's got a lot of sick speed combos.
Daniella - Another amazing instructor for the ladies! QUNT playlists and her classes are a good amount of challenge. She's also really good at keeping an eye on everyone's form and will gladly help you out. She's such a sweetheart in and out of the studio, very approachable!
Last but not least, I have to shout out Nelita, Stacey, and Aaliyah. These lovely ladies will be the ones who will first greet you and give you the warmest welcome. Customer service has never been better with them and they will take good care of you every step of the way. Nelita brings so much joy and light to the studio as the manager and she's definitely down to join the classes when she can!
If you have reservations about Rumble, don't. Just give it a try and you won't regret it! I say try everything at least once. If you catch me in the studio, please say hi! As a fellow member, I always love to meet newcomers and help anyone in any way I can. I can even stay by your side and keep you company during classes if you'd like!
Happy boxing!

Corporate workout chain that has mediocre instructors. Very repetitive workouts. Very overpriced. The space doesn’t even have any proper changing areas. They didn’t inform me that I had to let them know 1 month in advance to end a membership with them - very unprofessional; no response when asked further about this.

I really love the vibes Rumble Long Beach gives out. Everyone that is part of this group has an amazing energy and spirit, from the team that handles the front end - (BC - Ashley - looking at you) AMAZING humans, that know EVERYONE that walks into the studio - crazy impressive and welcoming. To the instructors - I have yet to take a class that I haven't liked, Joe walks around and checks your punches and plays the best tunes - Kari, I always learn about form and follow through, Chris just has great energy motivates the crew to keep going . . . more amazing humans.
I feel like a lot of thought was put into staffing this location with high energy/ good vibes, and I appreciate the community feel. keeps me motivated to keep coming back to learn and be apart of the team❤️

I joined Rumble as a founding member, and it's all thanks to their amazing manager, BC. From the minute we met, BC was welcoming, informative, and attentive to all my questions about the new studio opening. His warm energy makes me feel like a valued member of the community every time I walk in, and it's what motivated me to get three of my friends to join too.
Rumble's 10-round "fight" structure--5 rounds of boxing and 5 rounds of strength training (my personal favorite)--is both challenging and empowering. What I appreciate most is that no two classes are ever the same. There are days that you can take themed classes as well as 60-minute classes too. Each workout is a new experience, and I leave feeling stronger, more agile, and confident that I could handle myself if the situation ever called for it.
The facility is *immaculate*. From the spotless bathrooms to the sleek Rumble room and the vibrant murals you can see from the open windows, this location is impeccably designed. The lighting paired with the music and circuits sets the perfect vibe. It helps me get in the zone and focus completely on the workout--it's a viiiiibe!
I also appreciate how thoughtful and creative the team is when it comes to making members feel special. They're so detail-oriented, especially when it comes to first-time class-goers. When I brought one of my best friends, they surprised her with "Happy 1st Class" written with her name and complimentary glove rentals. That extra touch made her feel so welcomed that she signed up for a membership on the spot!
The trainers here are next level--impressive, experienced, and they bring the energy! Kaylee is one of my favorites because of how she breaks down the circuits and keeps the class amped. Christian also brings incredible energy that keeps me motivated throughout the class. And let's not forget the music--it's always fire and perfectly synced to the workout. Every class feels like a party while getting your sweat on.
Call me the female Manny Pacquiao because this place has quickly become one of my all-time favorite gyms. If you're on the fence about joining, don't hesitate. It's 100% worth it!

Like many other Rumbles, this location feels way too cramped for the bag section. The floor section is fine and actually quite spacious (more so than Irvine) but it’s impossible to be on one of the inner bags and not get hit in all directions by someone else’s swinging bag.
I liked Joe - he’s engaging and keeps the energy up and he walks around the floor. Kari is extremely nice but extremely boring - I won’t be taking her class again. As a former boxing / group fitness instructor it’s always hard to sit through a class where the energy is just consistently low.
I come here once a week so hopefully it’ll give me the chance to try out other instructors. Not a bad place to get a workout especially if you like boxing, but definitely not the sweat I usually get from my usual gym down the street.

Took 2 classes at this studio. One as a 30 min intro class and second as the 45 min signature class. Initially, I ran into the area manager who invited me and she was lovely. Later, the studio manager graciously offered me and my 2 friends free classes, which was kind.
We took class but we did not enjoy it. I was going to keep my feedback to myself until front desk asked me how it went. I hesitantly replied with “it was okay.” The studio manager proceeded to say “Oh, he just doesn’t want to pay for classes.” I was gaslit. Little did he know that I was thinking of picking up a class pack prior to the class. So I gave my honest, genuine feedback. And I’m outlining here as well…
• the transitions were awful
• music did not match the timing of the moves
• instructions were not clear
• the instructor was demo-ing on the side when he really should demo in front of the podium
• the punching bags are too close to each other making it difficult to maneuver
• it was not motivating
• typically freestyle is the best part of the class but it was lackluster. Usually an instructor builds up to it.
I understand new spaces want to build clientele and gain new members but I don’t think gaslighting was the right approach. It’s best to build relationships and back it up with quality instructors/classes. Talk to the community to build your own community.
