Great atmosphere and staff. It’s a little on the smaller side and gets a little crowded with equipment, but I appreciate it because it means people aren’t just standing around in empty space, they are on a machine or out of the way. The front desk staff was always attentive and the $10 day pass was well worth it or the $30 for the week. Plenty of equipment and a sauna. I would definitely recommend.

The owner Dave is an absolute gem! Super friendly and cares about every member that walks through the door. The gym offers everything you need for a good workout, be it cardio or weightlifting. Be careful of this place they’ll charge you fees without even calling you . They should have staff once they open if they have prospects wanting to try the gym or don’t want to commit to a monthly fee. Very unprofessional. No ethics. Beware if you are guests or think about trying this gym. And if this comment gets me flagged from the gym, that overall says a lot about your gym.

Great family owned gym! I love the outdoor section. There is a good variety of equipment. I wish it was open until 10, and some of the equipment is a little old and beat up, but other than that it is a great place. I left this gym due to moving out of the neighborhood and went right back when I moved close enough. I really missed this place!

Great facility with helpful and friendly staff. I left my old commercial gym a little over a month ago due to many reasons including rude members and the fact that you had to fight for equipment even during slow times. I haven’t had that problem here. Everyone, members and gym staff included, treat each other with respect. Some might argue that the equipment isn’t “state of the art” but you know what? This is where you get RESULTS. 😤 Glad I signed up.

I actually like this gym, but had an uncomfortable interaction with a staff member. I asked if we could change one of the news channels to something else. She asked why and I explained that I see one news station represented here and would rather have things on tv that are not controversial. By appealing to one side, they are alienating other customers.

She responded in quite a challenging tone “so you think it’s ok to have CNN on but not Fox”. I said back that “no, all of this stuff is garbage and making people hate each other. Would love to come to the gym and get away from all the junk and would rather see none of it”

It felt like a reasonable request but it ended up being pretty uncomfortable and now I am not certain I will renew my membership after it.

Had a bad experience with the night manager. Won’t be back. Was getting tired of being barked at .... to not use free weights past 7 because he didn’t want to stay past the clock, used an antiquated check in process and yelled at me for it if I didn’t carry a keychain instead of just checking me in, and constantly making grumpy comments and annoying rants that don’t belong in a gym. Wish them well and hope they grow and change as people.

Be very careful of canceling & Auto-renew. Was ask to come in and fill out a form in order to cancel. So I did come in and signed the San Carlos fitness cancellations forms. Unfortunately, I was still being charged, along with an annual fee. The owner said sorry, but I had to have my form in order to verify. We’re also filing through the BBB, as this business practice should not be tolerated.

This fitness club is a hidden gem. There machines are top quality and smooth. Smaller club but they have all the equipment you need. This beats the larger 24 hour fitness chains that are typically crowded. They moved some of there equipment outside because of Covid 19 and the idiot governor Newsomes order but they have placed easy ups and covering to protect you against the sun. It's as clean as they can make it given the circumstances of being outside. I highly recommend!

It’s an outside gym on the patio right across from Keils. One of the only gym open and I think they did a great job at putting key machines outside. You are allowed to go inside and grab some thing as long as you put it bauhck. It is a nice facility and if I lived in this area I would stay. The staff are really friendly and seem to be from the East Coast or at least they have an East Coast accent. The set up is easy there’s no agreement $40 onto month work out. Since it is outside it’s hot and you sweat more so that’s actuallyPretty cool also. Looking for a gym during the Rona and all the other ones are shut downCome check this one out.

Should of listened to the review that this place is a scam. Cancelling is so Inconvenient, and the place is crawling with bugs. The equipment and everything is covered with dust and half the time in the morning the staff would just unlock the door (late) and leave. I wanted to support a local gym but it’s too bad.

The places has top of the line equipment and a lot of different items to use. The gym has everything you need. It's got great prices and it's clean. Local owners, local staff. I see some past posts that are negative but I don't care about their experiences, mine have been great. Staff helped me sign up my entire family for a year membership that was a very fair price. I read some stuff about the air conditioning during summer, it's fine. The air is being cooled to an acceptable temperature. The machines are clean. Lot of gear usage but they don't leave stuff out. Haven't had any issues.

If you still want to try this place, my advise is to only pay month to month and DO NOT sign anything. That will limit the amount of money they can rip off.

For those that think being able to workout here without a huge crowd at what should be peak hours...think again. That's just a sign that you may show up one day for a workout and find them closed for business...or changing their name so they can pocket your money.

I recently saw a response from my comments on Yelp which just added insult to injury. I maintain if you deal with these people keep a close hold on your wallet. They will rip you off.
