As a mom of two and a former competitive gymnast who has coached all ages — including a mommy-and-me class my son participated in — I am genuinely impressed with the staff at San Diego Gymnastics. Coach Caitlyn is exceptionally patient, even with my strong-willed child, and it’s clear she truly cares for every student she teaches. Her ability to connect with kids of all ages while maintaining a positive, structured environment is remarkable.

Since joining, I’ve seen tremendous growth in my son’s listening skills, hand-eye coordination, confidence, and overall enthusiasm for the sport. Every class has been a rewarding experience.

The front desk manager, Kelsey, deserves special recognition as well. She is professional, kind, and consistently goes above and beyond — greeting our entire family by name and even stepping in to assist my son on the floor when she notices he needs extra support.

San Diego Gymnastics provides a nurturing, professional, and inspiring environment, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

My son has motor coordination issues and was very afraid of heights. He was nervous about starting Parkour, he loves it now. His coach is patient and kind. The approach is step by step so skills build on each other. He’s having fun, getting great exercise and is now confident and feels strong. He climbs the rock wall, he walks and jumps off the balance beam. This has been a wonderful experience. Thank you SD Gymnastics!

We have nothing but good experiences with the kids, families and coaches at San Diego Gymnastics 👏 We have worked with 2 coaches, both amazing, kind and encouraging when working with littles.

My kid started as a 4-year-old. They learn to safely move, work in teams and challenge themselves to try new things. We have been part of the gym for over a year, and this is by far one of the favorite moments of my kid's weekly routine.

We had my daughter’s 7th birthday party here and had an amazing time! Coaches were all very helpful and made sure the kids had a blast. The open space at the front of the gym was huge to set up lots of tables and decorations! Definitely recommend!!

San Diego Gymnastics and Parkour has been an incredible experience for our family, especially for my two kids, ages 7 and 9. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The coaches are fantastic with kids, striking the perfect balance between encouraging them to push their limits while ensuring they stay safe and have fun.

The facility is top-notch, with clean and well-maintained equipment that makes every session exciting and challenging. My 9-year-old, who loves tackling new skills, has been thriving in the parkour classes, conquering obstacles and building confidence every week. Meanwhile, my 7-year-old has fallen in love with the gymnastics program, showing off their cartwheels and flips with pure joy.

What I love most is how the programs focus not only on physical fitness but also on teaching discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. It’s been amazing to see their growth, both physically and mentally. Plus, the coaches are so patient and adaptable, making sure every child feels seen and supported, no matter their skill level.

As a parent, I also appreciate the welcoming atmosphere in the viewing area, where I can cheer on my kids and connect with other families. It’s clear the team at San Diego Gymnastics and Parkour genuinely cares about creating a positive, family-friendly environment.

We LOVE SD gymnastics! The gym is so clean, everything is brand new, and the lobby is spacious for those parents watching their little gymnasts. My kid loves San Diego Gymnastics in Rancho Bernardo! He’s been attending since they opened in April 2024 and he was so excited to expand his Parkour skills. Coach Miles has been super fun and patient with our high energy son. His absolute favorite is Kid’s Night Out where he has free play for four hours and pizza is included too! Mom and Dad feel safe to drop off and enjoy themselves for a quiet dinner. We highly recommend this gym! Friendly and attentive staff makes it very easy to be members!

I rarely ever post negative reviews here, especially for a local RB business, but I do feel like I should warn others so they do not go through what we went through. Our experience only pertains to the private lessons, not the group classes which we did not participate in.

We had managed to get 2 lessons in from our 10-hr package and the instructor was great - we had no issues with him. However, we found the manager to be very poor at communication and unfortunately she is the only one at the gym who can schedule. One evening we show up at our scheduled lesson time (7:45pm) only to find a locked and dark building. It turns out they had closed already for the day. The manager was supposed to contact us to reschedule, but failed to do so.

This gym seems to be very unorganized and unresponsive. We first reached out for private lessons in May 2024. When we called, majority of the time no one would answer. For emails, we experienced several days delay before a response. For example, the manager would ask our availability on Saturday for the week following and we would respond back pretty immediately same day, only to hear silence until end of Tuesday when we've already lost two days.

I felt that we were very reasonable and made every attempt to communicate, but were ignored. It made for an incredibly frustrating experience. If you are looking at private lessons, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
