About the Club

San Diego Premier Training is a private personal training studio in Carlsbad, CA with the sole purpose of helping you achieve the fitness level you never knew was possible.
SDPT first opened it's doors in 2008. Since then we have been working hard on our mission. Our mission is to empower North County San Diego residents to achieve their highest level of health by creating a safe environment for fun and motivating workouts and become part of an incredible community to help inspire others.

SDPT is more than just a workout. We educate our clients with a nutrition plan based on their lifestyle, a workout routine based on their body, and a support system to ensure success.

I started training here in January. The pandemic was going strong. They had a great outdoor set-up here. The trainers and clients were diligent about sanitizing equipment as well as spacing people apart for covid safety. I started with an 8 week weight loss challenge. I am 59 years old. I hadn't been working out for at least two years. I was overweight and barely able to do the group workout exercises. The trainers are great. They connected with me on injury's and issues to modify routines as needed. They have been very encouraging and helping me toward my fitness goals. The eight week challenge came with a complete meal plan including recipes. It was easy to follow and something that you can stick with in real life. I completed the eight week challenge and have kept going as month to month member. This gym has great equipment, great trainers and great clients. The owners, Mike & Emily, really care about their clients and go above and beyond to ensure a great experience and help you meet your goals. Fast forward three months, I'm 25 lbs lighter and slowly but surely getting physically fit. I can't recommend these guys enough. I love this place! SDPT is professional, challenging, operating under a family atmosphere. Mike Deibler is my personal trainer. He truly cares about you and keeps me focused on my goals, allowing me to realize continuous improvement from my personal sessions in a relaxed and supportive environment. His workouts are challenging and well planned to meet my individual needs and objectives. He ensures proper technique to avoid injuries and has vast knowledge in his profession. There are many trainers in this facility. Each one is qualified, reliable and talented with a vigorous exercise plan that supports your training objectives. If motivation, flexibility and personal approach is what you are looking for, I cannot imagine working out in any other place.

I am long past retirement age and was somewhat skeptical about what progress I could achieve but gave it a try at the recommendation of a good friend. I began training with Frank Childress 6 weeks ago and I have noticed significant improvement in flexibility and strengthening already. He is excellent and I highly recommend him

Absolutely love S.D. Premier Training workouts after 6 weeks, it provides me with the type of workout I been doing for a number of years if not better. The classes are at convenient times for my busy retired schedule. The facility and equipment are first class. The instructors are the best prepared for classes I have seen, and safety to keep you from injuring your self is a top priority. After every workout I feel wonderful and I pace myself with Mike's
help that I can workout 4 to 5 days a week, a truly inspirational place to keep fit.

Mike and Emily have been training my husband and me for the past year in preparation for our wedding. I have lost over 20lbs and 3-5inches in various areas. My husband has dropped 10lbs and at least 5% body fat.

They are INCREDIBLE trainers. They love what they do. They genuinely care for their clients. They are knowledgable and patient and understand that working out and losing weight is as much of a mental game as it is physical.

This place is amazing! I was so nervous about starting a workout routine after being lazy for about two years but Mike and Emily welcomed me on my very first day. Even all of the other class attendees are super welcoming and know how to turn a difficult workout into a fun and enjoyable experience. Don't be fooled by all the sincerity though, their workouts are tough and push you to the limit. I couldn't imagine working out anywhere else. I highly recommend SDPT if you want to get it shape and enjoy all of your workouts. The facilities and teachers are also great too!

My husband and I were looking for a place that would tell me exactly what to eat and how to exercise! SDPT does it all, within their 8 week challenge I was able to get a menu plan, with recipes and a shopping list along with small group exercise classes. I love it! We both lost around 20 lbs, I feel more confidant in my exercising and I made a lot of friends.
