We are a warm and friendly family-oriented club. We opened in 1956 and have fourth generation members at the club. The Club is a place you come to play tennis, pickleball, swim, workout, socialize, or just relax. As we say, this is where friends and family come to play.

Kind of cool but outdated and decrepit. Dirt would build up on the pool bottom and the kids pool is so rough our kids get raw bleeding feet after. We moved to another family pool spot.

Fantastic club. Not pretentious. Good ‘ol fashioned neighborhood club. Hope it does not close soon.

Coach is the real deal! During my first lesson he was already pointing out the 100s of little ways my game could improve. Now, after several more lessons, my game is the best it has ever been and it just keeps getting better.
On top of that, he's an awesome guy and he does a great job of making every lesson fun but also action packed and laser focused on improving my game.

I love this place. Relaxed atmosphere, great pool, enough equipment. I've been a member of lots of clubs over the years; and of course they all have their good points. This club is by far the most enjoyable. Not a massive club like a club sport, but way more enjoyable. The pool is fantastic.

Wow, ridiculously expensive. 95 bucks a month. with a 12 year contract. Plus 115. Initiation. Is that a joke???

Worst customer experience ever, horribly outdated equipment, musty indoor smell, this club is for people on their last leg of life. The staff is not helpful or friendly to accommodate a change in membership to our new baby. They force you to commit to a one year contract because after month one you realize how garbage this place is, and want to get out fast. I tried to join a tennis league and they wouldn’t let me because they were always full. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.
There are plenty of better options for tennis, swimming or exercise in the Bay Area.
62 years in business? Time to update your membership policy and hire some competent employees with proper customer service etiquette. 4th generation members?? Wow, good job locking them in that long contract, well done.

For the price you should probably join a real health club. You are paying almost $2k for just one year of use of the pool (Price is even higher for tennis). And for that cost, the premises is very sub par. The pool is cloudy and the shower areas are less than clean. Swim lessons for the kids are an added cost and not at all cheap.
The only upside was that there was not many people there for lap swim. Which is probably because they have chosen to go to a better facility.
I wouldn't recommend joining this club to anyone.

Not grand, but warm, friendly and with a strong sense of community, SJSRC is the best place to get a swim all year round in this area (outdoor heated pool FTW!) - pay a little bit more for tennis cpurt access, or base amlunt for gym, pool and classes.

Old school charm, great community
'The club' really is an important part of the Willow Glen community. With no public pool around, the all year round heated outdoor pool is where to go. Classes and a decent gym are also included in the monthly fee.
You can pay a bit extra and get the tennis courts too.
Don't let the fact that it's a members' club out you off. It's not snobbish. You can bring your own food and wine, BBQ etc or order in. Facilities are decent but not luxury.
