Santa Barbara Dance Arts is an amazing studio and they truly accomplish their goal of being "more than just dance". It is a place of community, belonging and inclusion. It not only teaches dance skills and teamwork but also kindness and consideration for others. Our daughter has participated for over five years and we are always impressed by the immense talent during the recitals but more so by the attitude of the staff, teachers and dancers. They do a great job of picking age appropriate songs and moves for smaller children and we always enjoy watching the performances. We highly recommend Dance Arts to anyone (child or adult) looking to get involved in dance!

We LOVE this dance studio so much! It has such a positive culture that encourages strong girls (and boys), healthy body image and teamwork. The instructors are encouraging and professional. I love that when I call the studio there is always a staff person I can talk to and they are so helpful. They also want to work with your financial situation and have payment plans or volunteer trades to make it feasible. My daughter dances here 5 days a week and is in company and she's loves it so much!

Our daughter danced at SBDA for 13+ years. I do believe many of her achievements in school and now career can be attributed to the skill sets she learned from SBDA. Her work ethic is off the charts and her confidence in everything she does is beyond impressive. Thank you for providing a loving, supportive yet disciplined family for her away from home. I highly recommend Santa Barbara Dance Arts not only for the variety of amazing classes, but for the positive environment for my teenage daughter to be in. The teachers are supportive and truly care about their students and the studio has a community feel, where students can work on their homework between classes. My daughter loves it there. It's her second home!

SB Dance Arts is the best studio we’ve ever been a part of. We moved here 3 years ago to interview studios and see them
All. She was so welcoming and quickly assigned a mentor family who are now our bestest of friend. She’s been amazing and so have the teachers do our daughter. I love the family feeling, the lifetime friends we’ve made and Alana Tillim the owner is the reason our kids are all showing so much respect for one another and mutual love and kindness. She has created an amazing community. I could write a book about how I feel about her and her studio and what it’s done for my daughter. It’s our family and we are so grateful.

I love Your Neighborhood Studio! The space is light & airy & the dance class I take there is one of the best I've ever taken. The owner, Denise, really does her best to provide the best possible classes & the instructors really teach! This is our second year attending Mini Camp sessions at SB Dance Arts and we highly recommend it! Anyone that wants to try out dancing for their little one, this is the perfect environment. They do a great job no only with teaching dancing, but also teaching kindness and showing the older dancers so the young ones see what they could be after continued practice. It is not only a great studio but a great community. Looking forward to continuing our dance journey into the fall this year! Highly recommend!
