We enrolled my son at this Dojo. He is having a great time learning the basics of Karate. He is excited to practice when we get home. He is learning discipline and he it is a great way for him to get exercise. The staff is very patient and knowledgeable.

Great family run karate studio. Our 8 and 11 year old have been going here for 1.5 years. They really work with the kids and adults, and it's obvious that they really care about their students. Through covid they have been doing outside, zoom, and now distanced classes in the dojo trying to give everyone options.

Family-owned dojo serving the Santa Clarita Valley. Wonderful space with wonderful instructors, featuring classes of various belt levels thought the week, along with judo and fitness classes on select days. *Classes are remarkably affordable!* The value of what you get for what you pay is incredible.
Classes are generally open and based on belt level, regardless of age, so parents can train with their kids and older siblings can train with younger siblings. I'm training with my 8-year old and 5-year old and will be trying to advance with them through belt ranks, so we can train as a family together. The senseis are seasoned practitioners who focus on both the students' training and teaching good behavior.
For adults wishing to train with folks closer to their age, teen and adult classes are offered Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Tuesday evening classes include sparring for students interested in the practical, hand-to-hand application of the techniques they learn. It's a great, intense workout. The dojo also sells a selection of the martial arts equipment needed for sparring, so you can purchase everything you need to compete.
All-in-all, Santa Clarita Karate is a fantastic place. The atmosphere is welcoming, the instructors knowledgeable, and the students encouraging. Highly recommended!

As my friend Amber wrote in her review, (we trained here together for many years) this place was a second home to me. I was taught how to push myself to new limits, and learned more than I ever could've imagined. I learned more than Katas, Koshki, self defense, ect. I learned the value of hard work and how to push myself. It was a huge part of my life and in many ways still is. I trained here from age 4 to 14. Loved it. Came back recently for a reunion with my fellow blackbelts. It is a family here. I know one day if I still live near SCV I will take my kids here to learn and grow. This place has my highest recommendation.

Absolutely wonderful Karate School. Our 8 year old has never been more excited! All the Senseis are great, best part is it's family owned, so they really understand children very well. And to say 'reasonably priced' is an understatement. Highly recommended, you can easily disregard any troll reviews.
