I was invited to a friend's birthday party for the first time, and it wasn't bad.
It was nice for the kids to run around and play, but it was so hot inside that they got tired quickly and were drenched in sweat.
Even i just sitting still, I could feel how hot it was...

Our son loves Little Sluggers! Itโs a great program designed to introduce toddlers to T-ball. When I have concerns, the management team and front desk always go above and beyond to make adjustments whether that is moving my son to another class and therefore with a different coach whose teaching style better supports my sonโs learning needs and etc. The Front desk staff are pros when it comes to dealing with questions and general guest service. Management truly cares about the childโs experience and the parentโs experience as well. With that said, not all coaches have the same experience,, big fun personalities and specialize with the toddler age group. Every coach I have met has always been very nice but only you know how your child learns best. If a coach isnโt bonding with your child, or matching their energy, or even running their class in a way that isnโt benefiting your childโs learning needs, rather than quitting, I highly recommend advocating for your child to just find a another coach/class that will better support your childโs educational needs. We just recently had to go through this and move my son to a different class. My son responds really well to smiles, steady positive reinforcement, quicker pace, high fives and big fun loud energy. Special shout out to Coach Maddie and Coach Mason (who sadly isnโt there anymore) who are the reason why we are repeat customers. Both are always welcoming saying hi to every child, giving big high fives, addressing them by their name almost immediately once introduced and for the duration of the program, does big cheers for their
students when they do something right. They run their classroom like a well oiled machine and can keep the energy up for the entire 50 mins. Both are incredibly hands on in the training department and make corrections like how to hit the ball or throw
It in a very supportive educational way. Maddie knows classroom management as well and knows how to set boundaries for the kids so they arenโt running around crazily in the nets, on the court, whatever, which makes for a very smooth fun yet developmentally challenging class for the kids. The 50 mins always flies by because my son is having a blast. I highly recommend this program to everyone who wants to get their little one exposed to sports but in a fun supportive environment!

Super awesome place to do hockey shooting practice, basketball, and indoor soccer. And they have a bar attached to it if you want to watch some sports and grab a drink.

It breaks my heart to write this post. I've been with Santa Clarita Sports Center for three years and have witnessed its dramatic decline. Initially, the coaches were interactive and happily engaged with the kids, fostering a positive learning environment. However, after what seems to be a buyout by an out-of-state corporation, everything has changed. The center has turned into a giant daycare, with kids running around aimlessly and receiving no guidance. The new โcoachesโ stand around looking unhappy and disengaged, failing to teach the kids anything about sports. This transformation has been incredibly disappointing and disheartening to see.

I've only been to this place twice since I live an hr away, but so worth it. If you get a good group of friends or whoever, you'll love it. Perfect size for adults to play on. Small field available for kids as well. We rented the big field for 1.5 hrs and ended up paying 20 per person. Great environment! No complaints at all

We moved from out of state and so tried to enroll my three kids in a fun soccer activity. Here are my notes on this place:
1. The most unorganized and chaotic sports operationsโฆ e.g They keep changing game timing with a last minute notice, another example, they have my youngestโs name in multiple rosters and they kept bouncing him between different age level rostersโฆ they scrimmage all age levels due to lack of kids participation.
2. Incompetent staff especially the ones on the fieldโฆ e.g. they apparently hire young school kids who have no idea how to run such activitiesโฆ.โฆ I guess theyโre trying to cut overheads
Now, point number three is what made me write this review.
3. Yesterday, my son had an ankle injury and they lacked in any experience on how to deal with sports injuries. The care taker brought a ziplock filled with some ice cubes. I wonder if the staff on the field are SafeSport certified to know how to deal with sports injuriesโฆ e.g. my son vomited (excuse me) right after the injury and they just gave him a trash can and kept him on the bench and so I had to force him out to take him to a medical specialist.
Moreover, my daughter was playing in the same game yesterday and was so worried about her brotherโs injury. She said to one of the on field STAFF ( teenagers) โ They are being aggressive and you donโt call anything. He answered (bullied her) โ you just need to worry about being a playerโโฆ they are at this level of professionalism.
I would never enroll my kids in this facilityโs activities unless under different circumstances and with qualified staffโฆ may god protect you and all of your beloved ones

I play here because I like soccer and the people.
HOWEVER, the way the soccer center is now being run is not great. There is no ONE that is in charge. Instead every night there is a new/different owner of the day/center. Your receipt probably won't say from the Santa Clarita Sports Center either, (depending on the night).
My problem lies with there being no checks and balances at this point. If I have a problem with the guy hosting the night because of how it is being run, who do I talk to? The answer is him. There is no one overseeing the entire operation, and if there is... I was lied to.
The pricing has gone up... which is fine, I understand. HOWEVER, telling me the pricing went up due to how they are paying refs is not what I would like to hear. These refs do not know how to ref (know what to call a foul) therefore they don't control a game which means injuries happen. The game then becomes sloppy, insulting and at that point playing is neither fun NOR SAFE.
There was an incident in which someone's body was slammed into the walls.. there was no need.. HOWEVER THIS IS WHY IT HAPPENED...there was about three minutes left, the ref had not been calling anything so watching these teams battle in the last minutes of the game was getting to a level of unnecessary aggression... especially for a LOWER DIVISION RECREATIONAL LEAGUE. THE REF HAD TO ASK IF IT WAS A FOUL to the person running the league that day.. The players knew it was a foul... everyone stopped.... but the ref was still clueless.... THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND A WHO'S RUNNING THIS PLACE ISSUE... And yes soccer is a competitive and a physical sport.. However, the refs need to be trained if we are paying for their service, and the owner of their night needs to acknowledge that and do something about it.
I would be happy to edit my review if some proper action is taken.

The referee was horrible in both games my daughter played!!! He didn't make the correct calls if he called anything at all, he missed starting the clock several times in both games and wasn't paying attention to the amount of goals the players were scoring!!! There is a limit of 3 per player and two men on the coed team she played against scored at the very least 4 a piece. At $96 a league you would think they could provide referees that knew the rules and paid attention!

The place is great, but if your playing in a league the refs absolutely suck. They let anyone get away with anything hitting, tripping and even punching. I got injured bad from a ref not making a call and they guy trucked me into the wall when I didnโt have the ball and now I have a torn ligament. Itโs a great place, but they need to get some reading issues in order so it is safe for everyone to play.

Dangerous & Unsafe -
My 8 year son got food poisoning while attending a soccer camp here.
I called and was told the manager would call me back. 3 weeks later..no call. After multiple calls I finally got the owner on the phone. No I'm sorry, No what can we do? Just a rude and uncaring attitude.
He stated "we have a strict NO REFUND policy and that I was probably the one that poisoned him. He went on to say the person in charge of the camp no longer worked there and that I could not prove that they did it anyway. Stay away from this place if you care about your kids.
