About the Club

SBM Fitness is an appointment-based facility, requiring an appointment prior to coming on site. As a private training facility, we understand that everyone occasionally needs the advice of an expert and the personal attention that comes with a certified trainer. At SBM Fitness, we offer one-on-one personal training to help you set and meet your fitness goals.

You will build confidence through training and be able to take the principles of fitness and movement, and apply them to your everyday life and workouts for a lifetime.

Each individual requires specific training based on their goals and current condition. We take into account your exercise and medical history to create a program that will help you to best succeed.

I personally have taken some Pilates sessions with Mia and it was appropriately challenging and very rewarding!

This is also a family run business that puts the client experience first and to me you cannot put a price on that! The value for money was outstanding but the experience and passion that was offered by the staff and ownership is worth so much more!

I am so happy with my experience at SBM Fitness. The facility and equipment are great. My personal training with Yuhui has been the best thing I have ever done for myself. She is very knowledgeable and customizes the workouts for us targeting areas we need help in. She really challenges us and pushes us in a way that has really improved my strength and endurance. She is constantly changing up the workouts so we are never doing the same thing. I can’t say enough good things about my experience here.

My partner and I trained with Sean for two years and can confidently say he’s one of the best personal trainers out there. After the pandemic, we needed help getting back on track, and Sean made the transition not only effective but genuinely enjoyable.

We did couples strength training with him twice a week, and he always took the time to listen to our individual goals and concerns. He tailored each workout to our needs, gradually building strength and confidence without pushing too hard. One of the most amazing outcomes? The chronic knee pain I’d dealt with for years is completely gone.

Sean isn’t just a great trainer—he’s a great listener and coach. He even checked in on nutrition in a supportive, non-judgmental way that kept us accountable without ever feeling nagged. His holistic approach made it easier to stay on track and see real, lasting progress.

Friendly, upbeat instructors with a variety of great exercises. Instructors are able to modify moves as requested. Zoom classes online make it convenient to still maintain a workout routine while working from home.

Super Awesome ;D My left Thigh was bothering me for the past 3 month, I google my issue and believed it was a Groin strain stage 1. The pain had worsen these past 2 weeks. I just happened to be early for work one day and decided to hit the gym. Attended the 45 mins Flexibility and Mobility class taught by Jamii, I stayed and asked a few more questions and she gave me couple more great stretching tips. All I can say my pain went away and I slept like a baby that night :D Thank you SBM Fitness, shout out to Jamii, Thank you so much

Really great local gym with lots of room for personal training and classes!

I was introduced to the gym by Sean, who is the owner’s son and one of the personal trainers. He’s also a friend of my family, and teachers a high intensity interval training (HIIT) class Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-6:50pm that will really kick your butt. I’m usually there on Tuesday’s, and the class sizes are small. As a result Sean will ask you what areas the group would like to target in that day’s class, and tailor the session to meet your goals.

I always feel like special attention is paid to each attendee to make sure everyone is maximizing their workout and staying safe. I leave each class feeling fulfilled and exhausted, and am always sore for the next couple of days.

This is a boutique gym with all the best & most effective equipment to work out 1:1 with your personal trainer in a convenient location in Menlo Park with parking. I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything the bigger gyms offer when I come to SBM Fitness: personalized, targeted & results-oriented training, augmented with the latest equipment likeTRX, reformer, kettle bells, the latest machines, in a clean well lit, discrete environment away from the people watching vibe other gyms down the street are known for.

I love using the services of SBM Fitness at AMP in the Varian Campus Center. The staff maintains a clean facility, responds to requests for change or improvement, and helps both new and familiar faces. The trainers and lifestyle coaches share their knowledge of anatomy, physical form & technique, and nutrition, and I am motivated to return because the trainers want to cater their coaching to my needs. The staff at SBM Fitness are awesome! The trainers are the best with lots of experience and enthusiasm. The class selection is diverse--yoga, total body fitness, warrior club, trx, crossfit, zumba and more. There is something for everyone!
