My daughter takes private lessons from Coach Castro. He is a great instructor. Her tumbling has really improved and she made Varsity this year as a sophomore. He is also really flexible which helps with a busy HS cheer schedule.

If you’re not on Fearless don’t bother. They don’t care nor respect any other athlete. Literally they only have savage as their rejected level 6 team.

This was the worst experience and I still can’t believe I paid for it. My daughter wanted to add a couple private lessons to increase her tumbling for upcoming tryouts and her coach didn’t have any extra availability, so we decided to try a new place/coach. It should have been a red flag that this coach had a ton of availability. When we walked in, there was no one there to talk to. My daughter walked in the back to look around for the coach she signed up with, while I waited in the parent section. Coach Castro was sitting on one of the mats having a drink. He only put the drink down to scroll with 2 hands on his phone for the entirety of the 1 hour lesson. He checked his watch and scrolled on his phone while he instructed my daughter to do strength and conditioning. She never tumbled. He moved from mat to mat sitting down with his beverage and his phone, while he chatted with another coach that was actually hands-on training some other athletes. Coach Castro is the laziest coach I’ve ever come across. He had the nerve to come out and let me know that she has a lot of work to do. There’s no way he would know that. There’s no way for him to know what she was capable of because she didn’t do anything except backbends for an hour. My daughter asked me to not say anything, so I didn’t. I paid him the EIGHTY DOLLARS and walked out. I should also mention that during the time I was waiting, there was a dog running around inside the waiting area and jumping up on tables. It was not potty trained. Someone came out to clean up after it when we were leaving. What a terrible experience for both of us.
