Have to give them 2 stars due to how the front desk approached me for a missed payment. I’ve had my child in gymnastics here for close to a year. The payment is deducted from my debit card. My debit card was changed due to being lost/stolen and I guess I forgot to update it with front desk. Payment is due the first, it’s the 12th. Today while working from the parent seating area, they called while I was in a meeting on my computer, so because I was busy, I sent to voicemail. Then a woman comes up to me while I am in the parent waiting area not even 30 seconds later, taps me on the leg to get my attention ( because I’m obviously focused) and tells me the front office needs me downstairs. I say ok I’ll be there. (I’m still on my meeting through my computer , multitasking single mom to get my kid to gymnastics) not even a minute later they call again. I send it to voicemail , end my meeting and rush downstairs. “What’s the emergency?” I say. “Oh, we need payment” I said “that’s not an emergency, I was in a meeting…working”. She says “well yes it is, we need payment and we texted you on the 5th and you didn’t respond” Well I didn’t get a text” the girl them tellse I must have them blocked because it says it went through on their end (no I don’t have you blocked. Maybe you texted the wrong number? )
Very very rude. You cant wait until I’m done, catch me on the way out? Or maybe when I’m not engrossed in my job?! My kid is in class for another hour tonight. Not like we are disappearing , we have been coming every week for a year. There was a much better way to approach that. You don’t come up to a parent and tap them on the leg while sitting with the other parents if she sent you to vm 30 seconds earlier and she looks busy.

Today was our free trial. My son is 5 and extremely flexible and athletic. However, he needs to work on listening. I was ready to sign up and the coach said, "he has a lot of natural ability, but he needs to learn to listen. Try again in a few months." That shows me they are very trustworthy. So excited to work on son's listening and get back to Scats!
The other students seem to be doing really well at a variety of ability levels.

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. They have professional-level equipment and coaching and have produced 14 Olympian gymnasts. Great place for all levels and ages of children to learn everything from basic to the highest levels.

SCATS is the place to teach your kids the essential tools to build on any skill in anything they do. As a former SCATS student it helped me accelerate in any other sports I took on after (diving, tae kwon do, track, etc.) My coach was Cindy and she made the experience unforgettable with the work she provides there. She is an angel to the kids and you can feel she truly cares for their success! Highly knowledgeable in her work and still going at it! I’m blessed and honored to have my kids to have her too as their coach! Thank you Cindy for being in my life as well as my kids! We Love you!

Both my 3 and 5 year old love it. Great coaches! They really teach them how to do gymnastics safely. Very impressed how much my daughter has learned since she advanced to junior academy. We love Chloe! Our all time favorite is Kylee. She really took the time to make my toddler feel comfortable

Update 2024::
We have been there for a year now, my son is improving his overall toddler skills, he has fun and the coach is kind , he asks every morning for gymnastics, the variety of exercises keeps him busy.
+++±++++++++++
The activities for my 2 year old are good and allows him to extend his physical abilities in a safe environment
I would recommend this as it's fun for kids and it helps their development

My kids have been attending Scats gymnastics for the past 7 years, and they both truly enjoy every moment. The coaches are wonderful, but Vivian stands out the most. She is incredibly professional, attentive, and always addresses any concerns we have. We couldn’t be happier with our experience!

Joe the trainer who told me that they do not teach discipline here and my child jumps here more than he was told.
Joe spoke politely but the brunette woman manager was very rude and even aggressive no one has ever spoken to me in this country like she did . I came to teach my child a sport and they ended up automatically charging about $30 per session and out of 2 months we came for 4 and planned to make it up in September but they told us that we could only reschedule 2 sessions and eventually when we came the female leader and Joe came and apparently they came back in September. They only teach step by step and my child is too active. I asked where he can learn to control his body safely then. and they just said that he will not be doing any more sessions and I have 5 sessions left and they will only refund me for 2 because those sessions are paid for in the future and the ones I have left they will not refund me and I am very upset. They did not refund me for the sessions that were rescheduled from the summer and they just cut him from the program. I was very upset that I had to pay and not get the training and now they said they don't care where he trains next, they don't teach safety and discipline here and they can't handle a 6 year old. Maybe kids who are very calm or older are better suited to this place. I thought they knew how to work with kids but it turned out not to be so.

The establishment is big, clean and safe. I gave 3 stars due to the front desk people (Saturday mornings). I would expect the individuals in the front to greet everyone as they walk in as well as say bye. We are the ones that have to greet and say bye which is very off putting. When we do say good morning or have a great day, it seems like it’s hard for them to say it back to us. We expect a friendly environment in the establishment; the people in the front are not providing that.

It would be great if there wasn't waitlist of 30 people deep for boys - I unfortunately don't think you are that small of a business! a small business is a small shop on Instagram, or a very tiny shop boutique at the mall... you are a very big well branded, gymnastics gym. And I have a feeling it's who you know to get into this place. The lady on the phone was quick to say we don't have any room check back in 2 years

I was thinking of putting my daughter in this gym, so of course I decided to come look at the reviews. (Thank god I did) I can tell staff is horrible by all the reviews, also you can tell how unprofessional they are just by the response they made to someone named Gerardo. My thoughts and prayers to the person who wrote back to his review, seems like you need some help.

The coaches are fantastic and my girl Charlotte loves hers, Monika, Bobbi & Steph in Mighty Mights. She has so much fun and when she's a little off they focus on form in ways she really enjoys. I would absolutely recommend if you're trying to get your kids active in a fun & safe environment.

So far I am completely not impressed.
Front desk has some rude people especially if you support Trump.
They are like the covid police peaking around corners to make sure
parents are wearing a mask. Super unprofessional and kinda crazy.
The supervisor I spoke with just as others have stated was rude, demeaning and offered zero help. Not the way to run a business at all.

I do not recommmend the group class for kids. The class sizes seem large and the instruction seems light. We didnt get much value from it.

My daughter has been coming to tumbling lessons for a few years and I feel like SCATS is passable, but could improve in various areas. As far as kids enjoying the lessons, they do a good job teaching and working out the kids.
A few improvements I would like to highlight:
-Parking is terrible, if you don't arrive 10 minutes early you will struggle as the parking lot fills up with the next class and then adds on traffic with the previous class leaving, it's a mess. Personally I think giving a 10 minute break between the larger classes will help relieve the vehicle stress (Class A: 5:30pm - 6:30pm, Class B: 6:40pm - 7:40pm). Also If they are going to allow people to park along the fire lane on the West side of the building, there needs to be "One Way Only" signs, numerous times people will go in the wrong way can cause a traffic jam.
-Online payment/presence needs to be improved. It is now 2020 and there is not a way to pay for tuition online. Also, it seems they have implemented a mandatory card on file/autocharge billing system. If you place a debit card, there is no annual fee, however if you have a credit card on file you will be charged an annual fee. If they enforce auto-charge, I believe it is unethical to further bill for paying with credit card.
-It's happened a few too many times for my liking, but there are absences from the instructors for the tumbling class. For the price I am paying I would appreciate continuity with instructors. I understand that instructors can't make it, etc., but if it happens a few times a month, perhaps a 5-10% discount should be applied to the following months tuition, just a thought.

attended a birthday party at SCATS with my kids a couple of years ago and we liked it so much that we signed up for the "Mighty Mites" class. It's been awesome, not only for the fun-factor and motor skill development, but the socialization too. My kids love the instructors and staff!

This place is amazing! My daughter has both taken classes here and attended summer camp. She always has a great time and asks to go back. They do a lot of fun activities on-site, as well as taking little trips to the community pool and other fun places. What makes this camp extra special is the staff. The coaches truly love kids and care about their campers. The director creates a warm, positive environment and clearly loves her job. I have spoken with her numerous times in person and on the phone and I have always felt respected and valued. Just this morning, she had the campers in stitches while going over the camp rules. It's a perfect balance of structure and fun. I have taught elementary school for over 13 years and I truly admire her special gift of interacting with the kids and I am blown away by how she and her staff create such a uniquely safe and fun environment for our kids. Highly recommend!

There is a number of things I can list here, where do I start. I had my child in their overpriced gymnastics program and they just do the same activities week after week. You'd think once the child pics up what's being "taught" they would maybe move up to the next level....NOPE.
I've never had a problem with staff until now. I'm trying to sign my child up for summer camp and I was informed the day before it was going to start that she couldn't do it. The documentation clearly states "its recommended for children under 5 participate in the am camp only." When I see "recommended" I think its simply a recommendation not a requirement. Nope... think again. My child is 4 1/2 and i was told, "NO SHE CANNOT ATTEND THE CAMP. So that put me in a bad spot. I asked to speak with a supervisor and the nastiest lady called me back. To have her representing Scats is a disgrace. She was rude, defensive and just plain ignorant.
One last thing,, NEVER EVER EVER have your child's birthday party there. For $400 I had to set up and take down al,most the entire party myself. Thats not what they advertise. Plus they send the party lady to try and sell lessons to all of your guests. That is very rude. Do that on your own time.My guests are there to celebrate my childs birthday not deal with you trying to sell them lessons.
You lost a customer for sure, with all this nonsense.

I came with my child for a free trial class and was impressed with the size and cleanliness of the gym. But that was it, nothing else was adequate, the coach was very young and did not seem to be confident on what to do (which is ok if they are training), so she asked her supervisor- whom assisted with the class for about 5 min. Then all of a sudden i see the supervisor upstairs where the parents sit, chatting/gossiping with another mother for about 10-15 min. while the coach was struggling with the class. As soon as she finished chatting she began selling something, i think some kind of customized jewelry to some parents. And mind you she this individual is well into her 40's, you would think she would have better work ethic. My child being his first time, with a coach whom needed guidance was completely lost. Very disappointed.
