I've dealt with chronic knee and lower back pain for the past 15+ years. I met with Jamie to start 1:1 training to help with joint mobility, and this is the best my body has felt in years. I've only been training with Jamie for 5 months, but the results have been obvious for me in my day-to-day life. Less knee popping/clicking, swelling, and overall soreness. As a 40-year old new dad, coming off a ruptured achilles injury a couple of years ago, it was really important for me to get back into shape and feel good moving around again. I'm seeing noticeable results this quickly, and that has been very exciting and reassuring.

I am a retired educator who loves to travel. Having had some health issues, I found that my mobility and balance were becoming compromised. Since I started working with Jamie I have seen steady improvement. I am now able to walk comfortably up and downstairs with a cup of coffee and without holding on for dear life! I am most grateful to Jamie for his understanding my needs, his expertise in designing a program that will help and his patience with my limitations. He is the BEST!!!!

I have been going to FGH training center for about four months doing small group training and I have been loving it! I wanted to get back in shape after having my second baby and Jamie and FGH Training center have been such a great way to get back after it in a safe, comfortable, and convenient way. If you are looking to try out training, especially for post partum moms, I could not recommend FGH training enough!

I love FGH Training Center!!! Working out with Jamie is great he personalizes the workouts to achieve my goals. When I first started working out I had daily back lower problems and now I feel great! It’s awesome for busy adults who are just trying to stay fit. They use a great scheduling system that’s super flexible so you can train around your schedule. Overall since training at FGH I feel in better physical and mental shape.

I have trained with Jamie since 2017, he is the best of all the trainers I have trained with before him. Jamie understands my needs and capability tuning my exercise routines accordingly. I started training at FGH training center from day one it opened, the facility is very clean and has all the equipments necessary for a wide range of exercises. I will recommend FGH training center to everyone who is looking for a very fulfilling training experience.

Jamie and the other trainers are great! I’ve been training with Jamie for 3 months and he is patient, knowledgeable, and attentive. I have a mild form of cerebral palsy, so I have to be a little more careful when exercising. He made sure to meet my needs and I’m extremely grateful for that. The gym itself is very clean and well maintained. Everyone is respectful and positive. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!

First off, I am not a gym person. I never played a sport growing up, I never lifted weights and was always suspicious of CrossFit. I would try to stay lean and flexible with Pilates, yoga, and being on my feet all day at work, but that stopped cutting it in my 30s. I noticed more aches and pains and my body didn’t look the way I wanted it anymore. I was self-conscious and nervous about working out at a gym where other people would see me and potentially judge my complete lack of fitness and knowledge. I looked at the piles of weighs in the gym and thought I was totally out of my element. When I found out it would be just me and Jamie in the space every time, I felt much better about going to work out. Jamie really met me where I was at (which was essentially starting from scratch). He both gave me a workout that pushed my limits but that I could achieve, and I never leave feeling discouraged or apprehensive about coming back to train. Jamie focuses on safe and balanced ways to train so that building strength is sustainable and holistic. Which means you’re often out of your comfort zone but feeling that much more productive. I have improved energy, strength, body control, and joint mobility. I wake up without those aches and pains but instead with a tiny bit of the good kind of soreness, the kind that reminds you that you showed up. I’m never too sore to live my life and go to work. I cannot recommend Jamie and Forest Grown Health enough, it’s worth every penny (and is more affordable than other trainers I looked into). You will not regret it!

I have worked with other personal trainers in the past and I can say without a doubt that working at FGH Training Center has been my favorite by far. Not only is the gym very clean and welcoming, but the trainers are very knowledgeable and personable. As a woman, it can sometimes be intimidating working out in a public gym. With the private gym component I feel confident and comfortable my entire workout. On top of that, the owners make sure it is a comfortable space for women, providing hair ties, sanitary pads and makeup wipes in the bathroom for all their clients. As a former collegiate athlete, I also love to be pushed, and some of the trainers I worked with prior didn’t quite understand that and only gave me easy low weight exercises that were unfulfilling for me. The trainers at FGH TC understand my desire to be pushed, and teach me the proper form to do so safely. In addition we also work on functional range and joint health so that I feel confident staying active as I age. I think the most important component for me, and the biggest difference I have experienced while working out here was my attitude towards my body. There is a big focus on long term health over all else here. Fast diets and quick fixes are not a part of the culture here at all which I appreciate as someone who has struggle with these in the past. Instead it is a wholistic health approach, and I have learned how to honor my body for what it can do and how I feel than what the scale says. Working out here has not only allowed me to be in the best physical shape of my life, but the best mental shape as well. And I would say that’s the far more important component.
