I’ve been coming here since late May and training with LT. There’s not enough stars to describe my coach, the ambiance, the facility, and most importantly the people and other trainers as well. Joining this gym and training with LT are 2 of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only have I noticed physical gains I have also noticed substantial improvements to my confidence and mental health as a whole, which are much more important to me than my appearance. Your health begins between the ears and as coach Jordyn preaches, it’s Mind over Muscle. Courtney has an absolute amazing team and her head trainer Bryce has made time for me and answered questions when I was unsure of how to properly use a piece of equipment. When I first walked in, I spoke with John, I explained to him my needs and my goals, and he pointed me right to LT , which I’m very very grateful for. In my experience with other gyms, the trainers will usually try to fake it till they make it just to sign up a new client, but this was not the case here. If you’re looking for an amazing gym with phenomenal people, and you want to learn self-defense in the process, get your membership here and sign up with LT. I’ve been training with Courtney since the summer of 2020 and I couldn’t be happier about making the switch from traditional gym classes to small group training. Courtney’s workouts are challenging but the small group dynamic makes the workout enjoyable. Honestly, there are very few things that get me out of bed before 6am but my workouts with Courtney is one of them!
Since training with Courtney, I have noticed remarkable improvements in my strength, endurance, and overall self-confidence. Courtney is so supportive and really dedicated to helping you reach whatever goal you have set for yourself, including the tough love we all need to hear from time to time.
Courtney is a pro at meeting you where you are at and building from there. Prior to working with Courtney, I always did big group classes like Orange Theory and can say the small group personal training is the sweet spot! It has the personal training feel with the added support of working out with other individuals and building genuine relationships. The 5:30am group is always a good time!

I have been working with Courtney since the summer of 2019, participating in her group training sessions. Many people think it's insane to work out at 5:30 AM, but as a working mom, I am incredibly grateful that Courtney offers training times that fit into my busy schedule.

As a woman in my fifties, I constantly hear about the importance of strength training. Courtney’s program is perfect for women of all ages, so don't think you are too old, too young, etc. She tailors the workouts to be both challenging and achievable, ensuring everyone can participate and benefit.

I would give Diego 6 stars if I could. I have seen incredible growth in my strength and definition. He is incredibly knowledgeable and knows how to get the most out of you without going over the top. I've been coming to this gym now for nearly one year, had to take four months off because of the pandemic, but quickly got back into my routine. This type of gym offers trainers the opportunity to work with individuals in very specific and customized program. My trainer is Ron, my wife and I have been using him since the beginning. He is a true professional, cares about our nutrition, our body, and helping us achieve all our goals. I would recommend his services to anybody anytime, well worth the money, especially since I can't do it on my own!

My review is for my trainer Tanya (: she’s honestly the best around.. she’s super nice, motivating, and all around amazing person.. was looking for a trainer for awhile and had one before here but I was not happy and didn’t ever feel motivated to actually continue with training.. it was just boring.. and never felt like I was achieving any of my goals.. Corey and Alicia have been awesome. Their online 8 week challenges include workouts for 6 days each week, and customized macros. That is really just the the basics of what the challenge includes. There are mini challenges, a lot of communication with other challengers & SO MUCH SUPPORT. The challenge is difficult, and definitely pushes you to work hard and get outside of your comfort zone. For people local to their SMTF in San Marcos, there are bomb Saturday morning boot camps that really kick your butt. I am in my second challenge right now, and I am getting stronger & losing lots of inches!!! It is such a great group to be a part of! I would highly recommend The Trainer Jones for challenges or any of your training & fitness needs!!!

I train with coach Mike. His business is movement mechanics and I've been with him for almost 7 years. He helped me rehab my back surgery and got me surfing again. His knowledge of function strength has helped me in all my sports and now I even compete in his kettle bell competitions. He has owned gyms for over 20 years and I think he is the best in the business. I highly recommend you ask for him when you check out the gym.

I train with Michael Fliss 4 days a week, and he's great. I get bored easily with work out routines. He mixes it up a lot and gives me a great variety.
