Great Y outpost to catch a workout or a class, and right in the Village of La Jolla.

Very nice ymca. It's small but very clean and comfortable. They do not have a public shower room, instead they have a few private individual rooms that have a toilet shower and a sink so you can sort yourself out in full peach and comfort

I love this YMCA. It's a little boutique Y in the La Jolla Village. It's a wonderful location, a tiny location, inside, though, there really are great classes and enough of what you need to make it a great gym. The staff is very attentive. Instead of having group showers and changing rooms, they have four bathrooms. Three of which have showers and you can lock the door and have your own beautiful bathroom for a while and take a shower and whatever you need. It's great coming out of that Y after a class or a workout and being in the Village where you can wander and walk along the beautiful nearby ocean cliffs and the water or go to any of the many stores and shops and restaurants or browse in what's always and happy and positive atmosphere. It's a very positive atmosphere at that gym and also the general community. Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful YMCA. It's like a boutique hotel, rather than having group showers in the gym, this location has three individual showers that are quite beautiful. The staff is always friendly and they have really good classes although there aren't many available. It's a wonderful location and really helpful to leave off right there in the Jolla Village, with Burger Lounge and other good restaurants and stores in lounges all right there in the beautiful walk along the cliffs and ocean. There's lots of 2-hour parking but at times it's difficult to get a spot, other times extremely easy. Watch carefully the parking rules each time. To avoid getting a ticket.

Pauline was very helpful. State of the art machines and fun classes. Be prepared to spend some time finding parking as it's located in the heart of the Village of La Jolla. They do not have combo locks, so bring your own.

This is a slimmed down Y, so while you won’t find a pool, sauna, or much athletic space, it could be exactly what you need. After you grab a free coffee by the entrance, you’ll walk into a clean and modern facility that was converted from a former firehouse. I features all the typical set of cardio machines, weights and studio spaces, but the real gem of this gym is the luxuriously-sized PRIVATE bathroom facilities. Instead of a traditional YMCA locker room where everyone basically showers together and are forced to indulge old men in their neverending stories, you’re treated to your own room with handicap-accessible shower, hair dryer, and shaving mirror. It feels almost like a resort. All the other California YMCAs I’ve visited provide a piña colada scented soap in their showers but this one was a more subdued scent I couldn’t so easily identify. If you travel a lot, this location is part of the national membership program, meaning they will not limit how many times you can visit when your membership is from another region. (I.e. Austin gives you like 3 weeks, Orange County gives you 2)

Quick in & out, nice (private) restroom and shower facilities if you need them. Friendly staff. If you belong to any Y in the County, you can come here at no charge!

Small cardio gym and 2 studios but the best thing is 3 private bathroom / shower suites. Total privacy and clean also.

Fabulous gymnastics class for my 2yr old grandson! Tues morning with Cheryl, instructor. A wonderful class with instruction & routines! Warm ups, mats, rings, bars, parachute & bubbles! We arrive early for open gym, adult participation & a marvelous balance that encourages interest, ability & participation! Fun, fun!!

The growing pains of a nascent gym are evident but everyone is super friendly and the machines are always open. Great spot and very affordable.
