Sarah-Turan is the best!! Since i started training with Sarah (for about a year now), I feel I have improved both my confidence and my form in weightlifting. Sarah gives me corrections on posture and form, which has been a priority of mine when I started training! He has so much knowledge about the muscle system and the best exercises to target different groups. I was lucky enough to first learn about Show Up Fitness on YouTube to get help passing the NASM CPT test.  From there, I went to their website and ordered the Nasm study guide.  I had a few questions about the study guide and emailed the company.  I was surprised when in minutes I got a reply from Chris Hitchko, the owner of Show Up Fitness!  He helped me work out my issues.  As a bonus, he gave me a Zoom tutoring session with one of his top trainers, Meagan, who is awesome!   I have since purchased the Nasm Audiobook that narrated by Chris H. himself.  I find him enjoyable and fun to listen to both on YouTube and in the audiobook.  I would highly recommend anybody needing help passing the Nasm exam to contact Show Up Fitness before spending money elsewhere.  I'm 100% confident I will pass the exam with all the help I've received from Show Up Fitness.  Be sure to "Listen to your favorite trainer with the belt buckle!"  :)

I love the studio, its perfect for private training. I'm typically the only client in, which helps big with gym anxiety! Bootycamp is my favorite class!!! I love that the trainers are well informed and use science to teach you how to properly work out to maximize results and reduce risk of injury. The small classes allow for a lot of individualized attention, which is fantastic for people new to lifting or for people who have been lifting for awhile but with incorrect form.

Chris is an amazing trainer--he pushes you just hard enough to make you really work for it but with a realistic goal. Even when I think "there's no way I can do anymore", Chris will tell me "just 3 more!". It's like he always seems to know how many more reps I have in me, even when I don't think I do. All of the trainers are always so positive and encouraging. I am NOT a morning person, but they can always get my grumpy ass laughing and smiling within seconds of being there.

I travel to Santa Monica on a regular basis and being away from home that much, I wanted to continue my training rather than skip any workouts. I sought out a personal trainer, Chris Hitchko, and absolutely love working out with him when I'm in town. He is beyond knowledgeable and I am able to get the results I'm looking for (gain muscle while lose body fat) and continue using the tools he's given me when I'm back home.

This gym is fantastic. I tore my ACL months ago, and during the strengthening phase, I discovered Show Up fitness, and Chris. Chris is the most dedicated, transparent and motivating trainer I have met. I have always been a fit guy, but what is impressive is that Chris designed workouts and exercises that would not only build my body muscles but also rehab my knee in a way that wasn't obtrusive to my Physical therapy regimen. This workout studio may be small, but it really packs a punch! Completely unlike going to large gyms with a crowd of people and unfocused, bored trainers. All the equipment you will ever need for a complete and effective workout is here. But the best part of this gym, is the trainers. Every single one of them is professional, absurdly qualified and 100% focused on you. The workouts are always changing and customized. The trainers have a very strong understanding of anatomy and body types. This makes your workouts extremely effective. They aren't there trying to sell you anything other than producing results. I've been training with Bret for almost 3 months and its been amazing so far! He not only teaches specific techniques but goes in depth about the body anatomy and how each move helps certain areas of the body. I've seen great improvement in my body and endurance in just this short time.

I've been apart of Chris's booty transformations for his book and it's been a great experience. This is my fourth month of winning the week (working out four days with weights) and I've noticed a sizable change (for the better) in my GLUTES. The studio is perfect size and has everything you need to transform a body. All of the trainees are very helpful and knowledgeable.

I'm writing this review today in hopes to help you, the reader, decide if Show Up Fitness is right for you. The trainers there at Show Up aren't your typical run in the mill trainers. Each one of them have dedicated hours upon hours on their path to perfect their profession. Unlike most of the typical trainers you'll find in your local cooperate gym, they go above and beyond the call of duty. They truly care about their clients, educating us on the truths beyond the myths you hear or read in magazines and social media. They are straight forward and aren't going to fill your head with false hopes that you will reach your goal tomorrow. But rather keep you motivated knowing that tomorrow is just another step towards reaching that goal. Wether your goal is to loose weight, gain weight, shred, or just to learn the smarter way to reach your goal. I'm sure any of the trainers at Show Up can either help you or refer you to the best trainer there to reach that goal. For me it's the owner Chris Hitchko cause of his "though love push hard" attitude. Works perfect in motivating this ole marine to go harder. But don't take my word for it or let their credentials speak for them. Go in and meet them. They will happily help you out with a "free" consultation. Plus they are always offering their clients free sessions for different things you could do. Like this review right here! So check them out. I'm sure you'll be happy you did!

I've been training with the Show Up Crew since March 2015. I've been featured on their website as client of the month because of my transformation. I've enjoyed toning my body by lifting heavier weights, learning how to hip thrust, squats, deadlifting, and proper sprinting form.
