Nancy is aaaaamazing! She truly knows her stuff and is the perfect person to share and implement life lasting healthy improvements. She's a true expert in anatomy, physical therapy, Pilates, other exercises/ physical activity/ sports, conditioning, breathing, healing, and more. Plus she's patient, fun, educational, attentive, motivational, plus more. She's helping my husband's severe back and shoulder problems. He's already experiencing great results! Nancy is helping me with my heart and nervous system disorders. She gets my limitations and works with them, which is critical. She constantly finds ways to make me (and my hubby) more comfortable while accommodating my dis-abilities. She's already helping us both recover, strengthen, and improve our quality of life. Additionally, Sierra Symmetry is roomy, clean, inspirational, super lovely, with excellent equipment. Nancy IS THE BEST of the best!! Much gratitude for her and Sierra Symmetry!!

I started going to Sierra Symmetry 5 months after major hip surgery. Hillary and instructors were very knowledgeable about what areas I needed to strengthen and helped get me back out on the trails enjoying what I love to do. I continue Pilates on a regular basis to keep my body aligned to support my running! I highly recommend this studio

I came to Hillary for a running assessment. She was very thoughtful in her review of my strengths (and, OK... we talked about my weaknesses, too!) I walked away with an understanding of what I need to do this early-season to learn to bomb the trails like a Truckee pro, hopefully injury-free! I've also done reformer classes here, and they will whip your booty and core into shape so dang fast you'll be bouncing quarters off your rock-hard (and functionally stable) midsection. There's so much to love, and Hillary is such a welcomed addition to our Truckee run and fitness community.

I am new to the Pilates world and when I found out a Pilates studio just went in down the street from my job I jumped at the chance to give it a try. I have been struggling to find a form of fitness that would hook me in and get me excited about exercise! Hillary is kind, patient, cares about proper form, and wants you to fall in love with Pilates like she did. The studio offers private reformer classes and small group reformer classes (4 max). As well as group drop in classes for Mat Pilates. I love that this is a Pilates only studio, and that you are not distracted by a multitude of other fitness classes, and it allows you to have confidence knowing that your instructor is focused on a single specialty. If you are searching for a great Pilates studio, this is it. If you are searching to try Pilates out for the first time, this is the studio to come to. If you are searching for a Pilates instructor that cares about your fitness/sports goals, you need Hillary as your instructor.

I visited Hillary at Sierra Symmetry for a running evaluation. I am always looking to stay injury-free so that I can keep enjoying our beautiful mountain trails. Though video analysis, Hillary pin-pointed my on-going movement weakness and provided a series of drills to address my issues. Looking forward to working on this further to stay healthy all season long!
