About the Club

Siesta Yoga is a yoga studio creating a community of happy, healthy yogis. We welcome guests with a friendly smile and eagerness to help every yogi, novice and experienced alike, to find the most suitable classes and build a level of comfort not found in many business settings. The studio has a homey feel in an effort to invite you to lounge before and after class. Many of the students live in the community and are happy to share thoughts and discuss life with one another. Classes range from Hatha to Ashtanga to Restorative. All teachers are passionate about what they teach and eager to share their knowledge with you. Right now, classes are small, so get in there and get some extra attention while you can!

A real yoga studio led by a proper guru. If you want to practice in a competitive sauna featuring top-40 DJs, you will find lots of great local alternatives.

If you’re on the fence about this place, go! Buy locally think globally. This studio has the most positive and knowledgeable teachers. I’m partial to Brandee and Mackie, but ALL the teachers are great. The clientele are pretty chill. Don’t worry if you don’t have a mat you can rent one. They also have workshops and soundbaths. Namaste.

Siesta yoga is an amazing yoga studio. If you want to get away from the Hollywood hip hop mirrors and weight lifting yoga culture and get back to connecting with your breath and body this is where to come. I really enjoyed my first Mysore yoga class with Christian, and look forward to learning the whole sequence!

I've been going to Siesta for a couple months now, along with several other LA studios (using Class Pass), and Siesta is by far my favorite. The classes are small and intimate, and I've always received the best instruction there. You have got to go to Alessandra's Tuesday evening Vinyasa Flow!

Everyone here has been lovely and welcoming. I recently got back into my yoga practice, and I love the individualized instruction from the wonderful teachers and the relaxed feel of an independent studio.

Vinyasa Flow with Rae
I took a class from Rae & thought she was very intuitive, challenging & positively encouraging. I loved her music selection, class flow & individualized attention. She helped me discover that I have not been in control of my thoughts lately, that there is a lot of house keeping & decluttering that I need to work on in order to achieve the freedom of being a happy, healthier me.

Siesta yoga is great! Christian is super friendly and it was a great experience for me to get as much personal guidance as I got. I'm encouraged to continue doing yoga and I definitely recommend this place!

Came here for a candlelight flow with Alessandra, Wednesday nights 9pm to 10pm, $10. Great ambience, teacher was excellent. Beginner friendly class. Can't recommend highly enough, I'm going back tonight. They have monthly options for unlimited classes too (monthly unlimited: $80 new students, $120 otherwise).

This is a wonderful studio. The instructors at Siesta Yoga are all very knowledgeable and encouraging. Brandee's Align and Connect class is very thoughtful and gives you time to achieve the poses. The mindful themes help you take a moment to connect with yourself and are appreciated. Overall a good vibe here. Siesta Yoga is a great find for Los Feliz Village.

Siesta Yoga has really helped me to feel more comfortable practicing with a studio. It isn't at all intimidating as I imagined it might be. Also, Brandee and Christian are warm, welcoming, and totally supportive. They offer thoughtful suggestions throughout each class, so you can find a pose that best suits you. The studio also offers different events that are eye opening and rejuvenating. I am a big fan of the monthly Big Om with Lakshmi and David. I feel like I found an incredibly encouraging community that allows me to expand my consciousness without all the trendy frills.

This is a fantastic little independent studio with great teachers who really know what they are doing. The practice space is attractive and clean and the studio is very accessible via metro. The only downside is that they are limited in terms of styles of yoga offered and the # of classes offered on any given day. It's difficult for them to compete with YogaWorks in these respects. But if you want to be part of a more intimate yoga community and not the more trendy, competitive "scene" that is typical of a YogaWorks, Siesta is a great option.
