My daughter has been training at Silva Taekwondo for more than 5 years now. Mr. Silva together with his wife is incredibly skilled and passionate about Taekwondo, offering personalized attention. The training area is always clean and well-maintained, and the positive atmosphere makes it a fantastic place to learn and grow. The program is well-structured, with clear progression paths that help students improve their skills efficiently, offering a great balance between technique, sparring, and forms.
Since joining, I've noticed a significant improvement in my daughter's fitness, self-discipline and have also grown more confident and focused. The sense of community here is remarkable--everyone is friendly and supportive, creating a welcoming environment for new and returning students alike.

Having trained at another dojang (training facility), I knew what a quality gym looked like: proper technique, Olympic-style (WTF), good conditioning methods, clean and good equipment/facilities, knowlegable teachers, and professionalism. Silva Taekwondo will provide a quality martial arts learning experience for anyone interested in learning a martial art. The Silvas create a safe, fun, and family-like environment. So, while Taekwondo requires one to focus the eyes, the mind, and the body which can be hard work, you will be surrounded by students and teachers encouraging and championing you on when faced with challenges. Also, when compared to other dojangs, fee-wise, Silva Taekwondo is a great facility considering all that is offered. There is no Taekwondo family better than the Silva Taekwondo family in all of Inglewood/Los Angeles.
