Nick is an incredible trainer. As an educator myself, it’s been refreshing to step into the role of a student, being challenged both physically and mentally while learning new things. He’s extremely knowledgeable, patient, and quick to dispel common myths about diet and exercise.
What I especially appreciate is how he keeps things objective, especially when I tend to get in my head or express insecurities as a newcomer. After working with him for 2.5 months, I’ve gained not only stamina but also a tremendous amount of mental and personal confidence. Physically, I’m also seeing changes I’m really happy with! Investing in myself this way has been one of the best decisions for maintaining balance in my life, and I’ve learned it’s never too late to start something new.
Strength training is for everyone, and nothing compares to the accountability of showing up in person and having Nick there with you. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, male or female, younger or older, he meets you where you are and helps you reach your goals.

Having not seen the inside of a gym since high school (and even then it was a rare occasion), I started training with Nick just over 2 months ago and can already see a massive improvement in both health and appearance. As a gym novice, I was initially apprehensive about joining, but Nick put those concerns to rest immediately with a quick conversation as we hammered out my goals and the steps we would need to take to achieve them. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about both diet and exercise and has no trouble at all breaking those subjects down into simpler terms to help a complete beginner understand. He’s a great trainer and overall just a good guy to work with. He has made my experience significantly more fun and productive than it otherwise would’ve been. If you’re looking for a trainer, this is the one you want.

I have been training with Nick for the past year and a half, and it's one of the best decisions I've made. His workouts are like a trip to Willy Wonka's gym: full of surprises and occasional sweat-induced panic, but always leading to golden gains. Nick also tracks your progress through each session, and he is incredibly knowledgeable about how to train and tone the body. Any problem you might have, he knows how to measure up. Train with Nick, and you'll be flexing muscles you didn't even know existed!

I have been working with Nick for some time now and I have been extremely happy with the results so far. He knows his craft extremely well and he has helped me customize a workout plan that fits my goals. He pushes me to work harder during our sessions (which I hate), but knows when to dial it back if I am struggling (which I love).
I have already seen improvements in my strength, endurance, and of course my physical appearance since starting with him. He also provides guidance on nutrition and lifestyle habits to help me reach my goals outside of our sessions.
Overall, I highly recommend working with Nick if you are looking to improve your fitness and reach your goals. It has been a great investment in my health and well-being.

So grateful I found Nick on Bark. He was the most easygoing and knowledgeable of the people who responded. Then after doing a couple weeks of personal training, it was clear to me he was going to make the workout process a lot easier through a fitted workout plan and easygoing conversations. Totally recommend trying out a session, the gym is a cool spot too!

I couldn’t ask for a better trainer than Nick. I wanted to train just for a month to learn the basics of weight training and find a routine that works for me. In just 6 sessions, I was able to learn the form for various exercises, develop better lifting habits, and even see good progress. Nick was friendly and I felt comfortable asking him questions frequently. I would love to continue training but because of time and budget constraints of my student life, I will now work out by myself. However, I feel confident training by myself and feel like I got what I asked for. Thanks Nick!

My husband and I trained together with Nick and we really enjoyed his training style and the emphasis he places on proper techniques. We trained with him 3x a week and saw results pretty quickly along with eating right. He encouraged us both to always finish strong and he’s enjoyable to spend the hour with. I have gone to the gym on and off my entire adult life without much success. This year, I finally decided to try something new and work with a trainer. Within the first month of working with Nick I started seeing results I had never gotten on my own. Nick crafted a customized workout routine for me based on my goals and gives excellent advice on how to master the technique for every exercise. Working with Nick has given me the skills I need to build my strength, and the confidence that if I stick to the program I will get the results I need. Nick is a very friendly guy and does a great job of pushing and encouraging me without turning in to a drill sergeant. Nick has also been very accommodating with my busy, hectic schedule. I thought it would take me a couple tries to find a trainer I liked, but I am perfectly satisfied with Nick and look forward to continuing my fitness journey with him.

Having Nick train us is awesome! Not only is he very knowledgeable, but he's also really fun to be around. He trains both me and my wife, and he is able to keep track of both of our progress and what we need, which is even more impressive considering he has other clients too! Another thing I really appreciate is his ability to give targeted training to address specific needs. Even when I'm working out on my own I think..."What would Nick do?" I highly recommend him!
