I’ve been training at Sirens & Titans for the past three months in the Elite Group Workout, and I couldn’t be happier. Jacques Devore and his team of coaches are truly top-notch—knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely nice people who care about your progress.
The training plan is carefully tailored to me, and every session feels purposeful and challenging. I leave each workout feeling stronger and more motivated. If you’re looking for a smart, supportive, and results-driven training environment, I highly recommend Jacques and his incredible team at Sirens & Titans.

Love this gym. Jacques is a walking encyclopedia of fitness and health. He’s been patient and generous with his time and expertise. The atmosphere is encouraging and inspiring! I’d recommend this gym to those young and old, fit or just starting your fitness journey!

If you are reading countless reviews of gyms in West LA (lets say you're uneasy about even going back to a gym due to COVID) look no further, this is the perfect boutique gym for you. I am 26 and started training with Jacques about a year ago now and let me tell you -- I am in the best shape ever. I have tried countless other trainers in the past (Equinox specifically) and there is truly NO COMPARISON in the amount of detail that Jacques writes into your workouts + overall guidance. I do the semi-private classes which fit my budget and schedule.
"Semi Private...doesn't that mean more bodies in a room??" Yes, but up to maybe 4 people. But I NEVER feel uneasy about germs here. Jacques has installed state of the art air filters that are constantly on throughout the day and has all of his windows open. Plus he has a secure check-in with temperature checks and will offer you face shield masks that you can buy for workouts. He also spaces out everyone, so you're never next to someone directly as you are working out. He also disinfects all of the equipment you touched as soon as you're done with your rounds. Trust me, I am just as weary about COVID as you are...this is the safest gym you can probably be at.
I can't even imagine going to a large gym anymore, so if you have that same thinking -- you're safe here!
Lastly, Jacques is one of the only trainers to have Versaclimber classes. This is no doubt the hardest cardio workout you can do -- I mean this is the cardio training machine that the Lakers and NBA players use. They are roughly 30 min classes with maybe ~20 mins of a true workout and you will be very sweaty and will shed the calories. These machines are all 6 feet apart from each other -- so it is really nice!
If you miss the gym and want to see drastic results within a few short months, come here!

Here's what sets this gym apart. The maximum class size is 5 athletes at any one class. Your workout is specifically tailored to your needs and desires and specific sport that you're training for. If you're looking to just get in better physical shape overall, Jacques will design that workout for you. I've been going just over a month with a specific desire to get stronger in cycling. Even after a month I see results, but maybe even more important is that Sirens and Titans takes a whole-body approach and my body composition has changed and I'm not only stronger and more fit for cycling, but for any kind of activity I want to take on, even if it's just checking out my new body shape in the mirror! Definitely a high recommendation and how can you not like a gym named Sirens and Titans? And lastly, I was the only athlete in class yesterday. Classes are never canceled and I had a private session. Doesn't get any better!

This is my favorite gym in Los Angeles. I've fallen in love with strength training because of them! From the great coaches (Alfonso & Jimmy), to the knowledgeable owner Jacques, I wouldn't want to work out anywhere else. And Jacques is the real deal. He has published books, gives lectures, and writes really helpful blog posts. This is his passion, and it shows. At S&T Fitness, your workout plans are tailored to your individual needs, and you get 1 on 1 attention. Don't waste your money on personal training elsewhere! I've been there, done that. Out of all the things in LA, I will miss this place the most when I move.

I was into fitness long before the benefits were understood and I’m pretty tough to impress. I’m appalled at what passes off as “personal training” at most gyms; people paying big bucks to have someone babysit them while they do exercise routines they can easily find online.
Jacques Devore forgot more than even the most experienced trainers will ever know. In addition to years of fitness experience, he understands the physiology of exercises and how one can complement the other. The results I’ve achieved from his programs in a short space of time is impressive; he got rid of my protruding gut within a month.
As is typical of most guys, I prefer doing upper body exercises. The exercise routines Jacques designed for me are more focused on legs and core, which is what I needed but always avoided. I’m stronger than I’ve been in years and miscellaneous aches and pains have disappeared. I spend considerably less time in the gym than I used to yet I’m achieving considerably better results.
I train with Jacques and Alfonso, who also is quite knowledgeable and attentive. You’d be hard pressed to find a more talented and experienced fitness advisory team. I can’t recommend this place enough for people who want to challenge themselves and get significant fitness results.

I came to S&T after a competitive rower (and world record holder) friend recommended Jacques' training. I have a sports background and am an amateur coach in rowing.
Jacques is gracious, intensely knowledgeable, and non dogmatic- three things that seem to be rare in the business of fitness. He spent almost 2.5 hours teaching me how to fish instead of handing me some easy program.
I look forward to working with him and am only writing a review because I was so impressed by the expertise and attention to personal detail. Thank you Jacques!!! This is a value people!

I love this gym! Joined up about 1.5 years ago after swearing off gyms for 8 years. This place is different. I met Jacques through cycling and decided to give his elite training program a try. Jacques has taken my cycling fitness and strength to a new level. Every workout is created uniquely for me. And bonus: my abs haven’t been this strong since before I had kids!

This is an outstanding gem for anyone looking to reach their next level of fitness. They are incredibly knowledgeable; they have not only pinned down the science behind weight loss and achieving fitness goals, but they are also experts in the field of achieving maximum sustainable power in a variety of sports. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great synergy in their strength and versa climber classes. Incredible value and very effective for leaning down and getting fitter.
