Had the opportunity to rent Slam Dunk Academy for a baby shower for about 50 people. The space was great, and the host was responsive. Things of note for those who are interested in renting the space: only one restroom available, no kitchen on site, and WiFi was not readily accessible but eventually password was provided by owner during the event when I requested due to cell phone service issues when playing/streaming music. Owner provided 25 chairs and three tables for use, as well as a blue tooth speaker. And the space was easily accessible with owner's instructions. Would recommend this space to others but would have preferred a standard list of amenities available on site (microphone present but not readily available, generally WiFi is not offered) and clean up instructions so as to be better prepared as renters. Overall, generally good experience that fit our needs and the party's theme.

I rented the gym for an hour to work on some drills for my CYO team and really enjoyed the experience. The gym is clean and provides all necessary equipment to hold any type of basketball drills. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick hour to do some shooting.

It was so easy to rent out the gym, it was seamless. My son loved being able to have a place to himself indoors to shoot around and run drills with his friend. The owner, Bernell, was also there and showed the boys all the equipment they can use. The loved it, we'll be back!

Went to support my friend at a local 1v1 tournament this past weekend when a group of friends of mine were being treated ultimately very disrespectful by the owner. Though there were guidelines about the upstairs part of the facility being off limit and apologizing several times, the owner showed nothing but disrespectful towards our group calling us “stupid”, “nonsense human beings” etc and in which we were later kicked out the venue. No class act whatsoever and zero hospitality at all.

Very Unprofessional easily intimidated.Has no godly idea on how to speak to young men nor people from California has no respect for California born and raised people but will take our money gladly. Very disrespectful to me and my family . Power trip towards young men . Banned a young man causing him to lose in a championship round and lose a cash prize .Demanded these young college students to go down stairs and these young men complied and apologized but since they ignored his unprofessional conduct and demeanor he kicked the young men out making a spectacle of a situation that was not necessary. Don’t ever book a event at this establishment unless you want a petty sensitive owner to attempt to attack your sons character.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. My friends and I came to watch a friend play basketball only to be kicked out by the owner without any clear explanation. There was no warning, no reason given, just a rude and abrupt dismissal.

The owner’s attitude was unprofessional and completely out of line. If you’re considering coming here to play, especially with a group, I’d strongly suggest finding a place that actually values its customers and treats people with basic respect. Very disappointing.

My son and I love Slam Dunk Academy. He can put up shots and do drills in a clean and safe place. It’s super easy to rent and access the space and I love being able to give my son the opportunity to practice in peace. I recently had the opportunity to take my grandson and a few of his friends to the newly owned
Slam dunk Academy. I couldn’t be more pleased. The booking process was simple.
Burnell the owner was incredibly helpful throughout.
The facility itself is nice and clean, well-maintained, and completely private.
There is a small area with a couch and chairs, very relaxing. Well, a few of us watched the boys played
basketball. They’re even is a shooting machine. You could also rent.
I felt the price was appropriate and the boys can’t wait to go back again.
