The dirtiest gym in the valley. Substandard equipment and overpriced for what you get. The manager seems like a paisa with no customer service experience. Avoid this place. There are plenty of other good gyms in the area.

Caters to members only. Not a place to visit if your traveling through town. The phone number goes to a central office not the gym. They told me someone would get back to me in a day even though I was only in town for a few. Again, probably a decent place for permanent members but not for visitors.

3 stars because the place is not open when it says and it only services members. The gym itself was not staffed. The business advertised otherwise.

The 24 hours applies to members not walkins.

Worst management and no control of paperwork when people cancel they just keep taking ur money from ur bank. I've cancel 2 months ago and I still got charged for this month which caused me overdraft fees. Call to make a complaint and supposedly there's no manager. What a BS

This used to be a decent gym, I don't know if it's under new management or what...
I spend >25% of my workout looking for dumbells, etc. they've spent some money for paint and new desks, but the bathroom door hasn't locked for over a year unless you know a trick, most of the weights have rubber peeling off, all of the paper towel dispensers were empty today, and they have broken equptment, or use bolts to hold plate stacks in place.
Plus they stopped offering wifi, it may add 30 min to my work out, it the brawley gym is night and day to this one (much better).

I Call this place "The Booger Gym," countless Boogers are on the wall! I first noticed them when I was using the treadmills, that are usually broken. In front of the treadmills on the walls Boogers stare at you, creepy! Whenever I was on the treadmills I would imagine myself running away from them, though can help with those last few minutes-running away from them but towards them, OMG!
The paper towels are always gone, I don't understand that, it's a gym right? should be able to clean the Boogers and sweat off the equipment, and the sanitizer sprays are few. I wouldn't want one of those boogers catching me, Yikes! The dumbells leave your hands black and they go missing, I noticed one dumbell one time that was covered in Gue... Slimer?? not sure what it was, maybe the Booger Man was there. Maybe he's like the Movie "Bye-bye Man," don't say it...don't think it!
If you don't cancel in 30 days before, which is standard and explained to you they will bill you. AND even though you call and say I quit, someone will say yeah I noted it. And then they will bill you again, and send you to collections, not even having a social security number and mess up your credit! Nickel and dime you on your account, weird charges... So don't do it, run away from the Booger Gym Don't say it, Don't do it... Booger Gym
I was told they put in new carpet and they painted the walls..πŸ˜‚

Snap Fitness does not honor their own contracts!! After doing exactly what they requested to cancel service, they sent me to collections. So pissed!! I got a back injury that requires surgery, Wrote them the letter, and paid for a month for nothing and they kept trying to charge my card. Spoke to a Rep and she said she would fix it and still nothing has been done. Don't get wrapped up with them.

I have to say that along with others who have described their horrible customer service experience, I too am not satisfied at all with my experience at Snap. My membership was cancelled over a year ago - not without a significant amount of difficulty. I recently received a letter from a collection agency that advised that my account, which mind you was cancelled in person at the 4th Street location, was now in collections. In the last year, I have not once:
1. Been contacted at all by any means possible(phone, mail, email, certified mail)by Snap Fitness to be made aware of the pending default or possible collections attempt.
2. Moved or otherwise changed my mailing address, or for that matter, changed my email or phone number which would otherwise prevent Snap Fitness from notifying me.
3. Nor have I even used my access card since the day that I cancelled my membership. As a person who has experience programming key cards, I know that each and every swipe is recorded and logged on the access program associated with the access system.

It seems like the owners here MAKE it hard to get in contact with them on purpose, probably just so this type of thing happens. Even talking to them on the phone at the center, they told me just to come in to work something out.

Come on. In this day and age, you're trying to tell me that I physically need to come into your facility to cancel a membership? If that's the case, then there should be someone staffing the place on a normal basis at different times during the day. Who's to believe is the wrong party? A business with repeated bad customer service or a former member with a better than average credit history for many years?

You be the judge. I just hope your experience is better than mine was.

I called to request information regarding fees. The manager answered the phone and made it clear that no information could be given to me over the phone. The thing is not everyone has the time to take off from work to go get a tour and get information about membership fees. I honestly don't understand how hard it is to give people information especially when I was really interested. This made me feel not wanting to be a part of snap fitness. I'll take my business elsewhere.

My experience was fine until I wanted to cancel. They're your friend when you join but if you ever have to cancel they dont know you anymore. They want you to cancel in person with a manager that's never there. Customer service is terrible.
