SOL Hot Yoga is truly exceptional. The two primary qualities I look for in a hot yoga studio are quite simple: cleanliness and quality instruction — and this studio delivers both.
Every instructor has their own style, and I believe it’s up to us as students to adapt and learn from those differences. Contrary to a previous review that shared negative remarks about Beverly, I found her to be quite the opposite — exceptionally pleasant and highly skilled. Her teaching goes beyond simply reciting cues; she truly teaches you how to do each posture correctly and takes the time to help adjust them to your individual capacity.
A true teacher in every sense of the word — and that, to me, is one of the most important qualities in any yoga environment.

Truly the worst yoga experience and overall customer service experience I have ever had. Beverly was incredibly rude and intimidating from the offset, I’m very experienced with yoga but there was never any check in before the class to check if I had any injuries or if I had experience. I noticed a few eye rolls when we asked about Mats but were unable to pay as we didn’t have Venmo, the movements throughout the class were overly used and basic but were made incredibly uncomfortable by the atmosphere Beverly created during our time. I am so grateful I am only here to visit because even living in the same city as that yoga instructor would make me uncomfortable

A clean, beautiful and welcoming studio with outstanding hot yoga classes. The classes practiced steadily will change your life. It’s all intensely physical and has a serious following from a wide range of people—athletes, older people with chronic pain, people who work all day in chairs or on their feet and find they do not need meds with a steady practice of 2 to 3 times a week.
The owner is meticulous in maintaining the studio’s cleanliness, heat and class consistency. The classes are classic bikram in a gorgeous sunlit space with views of Russian hill from its second floor location. The fees are lower than other studios. It’s right across the street from the #30 bus and a short walk from the #45 that runs on Union. Hoping the studio can add a few more hot yoga classes to the schedule but there are enough to make an auto monthly worth it.
I cannot stress enough what a warm and kind atmosphere the studio cultivates. A blessing to the north beach neighborhood.

Immaculate and peaceful studio. They offer classic bikram in a very hot room that is flooded with natural light. The teachers are excellent. I just hope and pray they add more classes! I signed up for auto-monthly (best price anywhere) and even though they may only have one or two bikram classes weekdays, it’s worth it. The owner is a very gentle, organized person who is calm and patient. There are two clean showers with good water pressure and towels and mats are available.

Favorite studio in the bay area. Celina's Sunday morning classes are the best I've ever done. She is an amazing teacher and always makes sure everyone in the class is enjoying themselves while also pushing their own boundaries. Will always be back!

I booked a session here at 7:30am, but when I arrived there was nobody here / place was locked. In front of the building there was bunch of trash (probably belonging to a homeless person) so I’m not sure if this place is still in business.

Love this place! I heard that it used to be a yoga school here, i think, it still is but the one you are eager to go and be with friends and feeling healthier and livelier as the time progress. Whoever looks for a place to do yoga and stumble upon North Beach should at least give it a shot once. I am sure that one time appointment will start being more frequent.

Love this new spot. Whether you’re visiting the bay or a local this bright airy studio is a treat. The owner went out of his way to redo the studio from the ground up and what an improvement! The teachers are compassionate and cater to all ability levels. The new yearly membership offer is worth it. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful, beautiful light filled second-floor studio in North Beach that has multiple Bikram yoga classes weekly, pilates, Yin yoga (cannot wait to try hot pilates and yin). If you go in the morning the view is beautiful-classic San Francisco with a big sweep of Russian Hill in one direction and a view toward Washington Park in the other with picturesque cables climbing and descending Columbus Avenue. It just opened so I imagine more will be adde to the schedule but right now week days have either Bikram 90 minutes or the 60 minute series. Both are wonderful and the 60 minute series moves along at brisk pace so it really feels close to the intensity of the 90 minute. The studio is immaculate; it has two showers with lovely touches--like natural shampoos and soaps; the owner has put a lot of thought into the decor and created a lovely, almost spa-like atmosphere mingled with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Mats can be rented and one can buy electrolytes on-site. I am thrilled this studio has opened. It is my new home for hot yoga. The owner is very respectful, clearly highly organized, and kind in manners. The price for auto-monthly is competitive and fair and worth it, if you go at least twice a week. Jennifer is amazing as a teacher and one morning took the time to snap photos of my floor series with her I-phone so I would not be tempted to turn my head to see where my spine bends were at--she is a beautiful and inspiring teacher. Then she sent them all to me through airdrop after class and her feedback was wonderful and so instructive.
