I can’t recommend Sol Seek enough. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels welcoming, uplifting, and supportive. The teachers bring not only deep knowledge of yoga but also genuine care for each student — whether you’re brand new or an experienced practitioner. Every class is thoughtfully guided, with clear cues, encouraging energy, and space to grow at your own pace.

What makes Sol Seek truly special is the sense of community. You don’t just come here to practice yoga — you feel inspired, connected, and part of something bigger.

If you’re looking for a place that challenges you physically, nurtures you mentally, and welcomes you wholeheartedly, this is the studio. Absolutely transformative.

I took Amelia’s 10am vinyasa. It was amazing. Some of the best lead box breathing, cuing and flow. I am almost 8 months pregnant and felt safe in the space to modify as much as I needed. Would absolutely love to go back and do all the inversions!

I was visiting from SF and was curious to check out Sol Seek. The person working the front desk (sorry, I didn’t catch her name!) was SO welcoming. Her bubbly personality gave me such a comforting first impression of the studio. I could tell a lot of people attending this past Thursday’s class were regulars as there was a strong sense of community present. Justin was personable, approachable and led such a fun flow which had a lot of options to modify/lessen or deepen your personal practice. I really enjoyed his sequence that allowed us to use all corners of the mat. I look forward to returning to this studio when I’m back in SB and will recommend to my fellow yoga teacher friends!

Practicing yoga at Sol Seek has been nothing short of an amazing experience. I was new to SB and fairly new to yoga when I joined the studio and the team did so well at helping me feel welcomed and connected. They emphasize community, growth, and support at all different levels, and I've come to appreciate the styles of all of the different teachers I was able to move with.

Regardless of where you're coming from, I HIGHLY recommend checking them out at this studio. They're kind of the best 😁🙌🏻

Sol Seek is a special place. I'm always happy to come here and build strength mentally and physically. Moving back to Santa Barbara has had its challenges because just moving sometimes makes it difficult to find community.

But the community that Sol Seek brings together is unique and I absolutely recommend it to people seeking a safe space to just be themselves. I suggest trying your best to stay consistent (daily, weekly, monthly), participate in the challenges, and attempt to do something new every time you go even if that means doing something different from everyone else.

I'm happy to grow alongside this community and look forward to practicing here again.

Dear Yoga, Thank You for having Sol Seek Yoga exist.

(P.S. I'm ready to DJ boat party round two)

I love Divinitree! I have been a member here for several years and couldn’t recommend it more highly! I come to practice most every day and appreciate the variety of classes, the quality of the teachers, and times offered. Jill (the new owner), all the teachers and office yogis are warm and welcoming and it is a great community to be a part of. I love the fact that I can come at the end of the day and choose between a strong flow or a restorative class depending on my day-- as they have two beautiful spaces to run classes concurrently. A variety of day classes are a nice option too.
I spent a year (at least) trying different studios in town and loved Divinitree from the first class. The biggest difference here was that the teachers really “see” you and make a connection with their students. I did not find this at many other studios. Students are encouraged to make their practice their own with the expert gentle and supportive guidance of quality teachers. I am always so glad when I’ve gone to practice-- to move, breathe, feel grounded and balanced. Yoga at Divinitree is not just a factory class or just a workout, but a moving meditation that I’m grateful for every day.

This was the best yoga studio. Then a group from LA bought it, fired the teachers, hired LA teachers, changed class times, and fired the manager. She was the best. Such a shame. Don’t go here unless you support the LA takeover of Santa Barbara.

This is my favorite yoga studio in town. I can't recommend it more. The environment is clean, beautiful and inviting. The staff makes you feel so welcome, and relaxed and the teachers are knowledgeable and work hard to make their classes fun, informative and creative.

My main reason for writing this review is to highlight an incredible teacher: Lucy Whillhite. I've been attending her 'Burn' class for over 8 months and it's my favorite class I've ever taken...and I've practiced yoga and taken workout classes for over 6 years.

Her approach is warm, enthusiastic and guides you in a way that makes you feel motivated, and put at ease. Her music choice is as baddass as her teaching. I've taken many classes that have trance yogic beats that can put me to sleep, and her playlists always make me smile. If you take a class at Sol Seek, be sure to take one of Lucy's classes, you'll be happy you did!

When I moved to Santa Barbara, I tried several yoga studios before discovering Sol Seek, and I'm hooked! I love all of the teachers and the classes - it's hard to find yoga classes that are introspective and restorative. I also love that there aren't mirrors all over the room, which really helps me focus on how my movement feels and not how it looks. Truly lovely -
This was my first Sol Seek class and I was so blow away. I have been fortunate to visit many yoga studios in my life and have been interested in trying Sol Seek for some time.
Immediately, the experience was so positive. I called to sign up prior and was given an immediate call back and helped quickly to get set up with my first class. Upon arrival, everyone was kind, welcoming, and helpful. The studio was such a beautiful, calming, spacious atmosphere.
Jill taught the most enchanting, well curated, warm-hearted class. I felt safe, yet challenged, warm and comforted. Jill is so bright and her energy is infectious. It was an honor to practice at Sol Seek and I very much look forward to coming back.

I have been doing yoga for 20 years, the last 4 at DiviniTree. I can’t say enough about this studio, and under Jill’s ownership this year, it has improved even more. The teachers are A+ across the board and very accommodating about my own physical issues, no matter what class I’m taking. There are many different classes offered at all ability levels, from beginner to much more flexible/experienced. No matter which class level you try, you leave there feeling happy and with your mind cleared, and ready to face the next thing on your list. The best part is forgetting that “list” while you are melting away in class!

My experience at Sol Seek was unlike any other yoga studio I've been to. To be perfectly honest, I don't consider myself a "yoga girl" -- I almost exclusively do yoga via YouTube videos that I can watch and move along to from the comfort of my home. Yoga studios have always felt intimidating to me — but Sol Seek was completely different.

I felt so welcomed by the team, others who took the class, and the instructor, Amelia. The space itself is so warm and inviting, and I felt comfortable to practice at my own pace. I've never felt so comfortable in a yoga class before, and I'm grateful to the Sol Seek team and all the hard work they've clearly put in to make the vibes impeccable (complete with soft paint colors and plants all around). Everyone was so kind. I can genuinely say this was my favorite studio I've ever been to - and I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in Santa Barbara!

I've been a member for four years now, and am not looking for anything else. Owner Jill Agonias with lead team Amelia and Sierra run a welcoming, fun, and clean studio. The range of classes offered is perfect, from entry level through Flow 2–3, and also yin, restorative and even acro, both in-studio as well as outdoors. Teachers are sequencing creative flows, always offering options, and finding ways to make everybody feel welcome and valued. There are good vibes all around. Yoga is taken seriously, with the room always filled with strong positive energy, but there is also some lightness and laughter: sthira and sukha. Whichever class I take, I come out feeling good. While I understand that it is a business, it feels much more like hanging out with friends. Membership prices are reasonable, with many options. See you soon on the mat! 👍👍👍👍👍

I've been a member of this studio for over 8 years and it is truly the best yoga studio in Santa Barbara. Recently they remodeled and transformed @solseekyoga and the space is absolutely stunning. There are two studios and the design is clean, modern, and organic. They are very conscientious about ensuring folks feel safe and masks are mandatory for all indoor classes. There's excellent ventilation and everything is sanitized before and after class. They offer a variety of classes from intro basic Roots classes, incredibly relaxing Restorative Yoga to Burn yoga sculpting and level 2-3 (for advanced yogis). I've been to almost every yoga studio in town and I have to say that this is the only place where I've felt truly comfortable. Classes are diverse and you will see every type of body and skill level. The teachers are excellent, the music is upbeat and you will leave class feeling like you lost 50 pounds of mental and emotional stress.

I've tried various yoga studios and various instructors through the years, but the classes have never resonated with me as much as they do at Divinitree. The instructors and the community are so supportive! I love that each instructor has their own individual spin on teaching, so you can truly choose what jives best with your mood and your style, whether it's a more traditional practice or a more interpretive one! I especially love Amelia’s classes - I’ve been practicing with her for years because her classes are a perfect mix of flow, strength, and yin. Divinitree is a great yoga studio and community. I joined the studio about a month before the pandemic and I'm so grateful because it's been one of the highlights of quarantine life for me. Each teacher brings their own style of movement and meditation, all have something unique to offer and learn from. I end every class feeling refreshed physically, mentally, and spiritually. It's one of the most important things to me during this time to continue to feel the warmth and connection with others while we're distanced and continue to feel stable throughout all the stress. I especially appreciate the well rounded approach in classes: it's not a workout but a practice of mind, body, and heart. Every teacher has made me feel welcome and I feel very fond of each of them, even if I've only met some virtually. The virtual classes are a great way to dip your toe in without having to worry or feel self conscious about your abilities as you can keep your camera off (although I recommend keeping it on to feel more connected). I would highly recommend to everyone!

No matter your practice level or returning to practice (as was my case) you'll feel welcome here. There's a great variety of flows to keep you challenged and learning, with plenty of available times throughout the day and week to practice. Through Divinitree, I have found my yoga teachers for life; the class offerings are varied and there is truly something for everyone - every ability level, age group, body type, and identity. Having practiced yoga for 20 years, I can say with confidence that Divinitree is my studio for life, even if virtually!

I live up in San Francisco but have been taking virtual classes through Divinitree since the beginning of the pandemic and it has brought me a lot of peace and happiness this year. The membership rate is really good and they have multiple class options every day (morning, lunch time, evening) so it makes it easy to find time and get the most out of it. They have good variety in their classes and instructors all with slightly different styles, so it never feels super repetitive. And now having the option to take outdoor classes when I'm in the area is so nice! Customer service has been great (I had a mix up with my membership plan and missed 2 months and they were super understanding and helpful). And the owner Jill is the best! Great positive energy all the time. I will definitely be continuing my membership for the long run!

I LOVE this yoga studio. Especially during covid, the studio has been awesome about providing safe classes so that I can still have a consistent flow. They’re very personal and welcoming, and really encourage creative expression. There’s no wrong way to do a yoga pose in their classes. All the teachers welcome different and varied poses based on what works best for your body. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for

I joined Divinitree earlier this year hoping to find a quarantine-friendly workout. Their virtual classes and 8-foot physically distanced classes were exactly what I needed! I especially love the power vinyasa classes like Fire + Flow and Flow 2. All of the teachers bring their own unique style/flavor so classes never get boring, and they are all so helpful with offering multiple modifications throughout class. I highly recommend this studio to anyone in town looking to start a practice or be challenged in their current practice!

I spent 2 months at Divinitree before I moved away from Santa Barbara, the classes were great for all levels and the community was so incredibly. Now that they are offering online classes, I am so excited I get to hang out with them a little longer. Unlike other online yoga options, Divinitree makes the sessions feel personal and provide a much needed social connection. I feel like I am still there.

Divinitree is such a special place. Right when I walked into the studio I felt completely welcomed! All of the teachers are supportive, knowledgeable, thoughtful and present. It's a very positive place to be.

They have diverse classes for all types of students. I love going to the Vinyasya, intuitive flow and strong flow classes if I'm looking for a powerful flow. I also love their restorative classes when I'm more tired and looking for a healing class.

I think this is currently the best yoga studio in Santa Barbara. I have tried several yoga places, but Divinitree gets my vote because it has several great teachers and tons of different class options and times.

Both yoga rooms have beautiful hand painted murals that are super cool, and the rooms are heated so they are warm, but not crazy hot.

They also have a great intro special, which got me hooked. The owner, and really everyone I have met there, are very friendly and welcoming, which is also a plus.

Their staff is warm & welcoming, and very helpful in designing a practice that works best for you and your lifestyle. The studio offers a wide range of classes, from Vinyasa flows to Yin yoga and even Kundalini & Acroyoga in between. Their talented & knowledgeable instructors make the classes feel like home, providing a safe and beautiful place to drop into your practice. This is truly the best yoga studio I have ever attended. I originally came to this studio a couple years ago to attend Elyse Grossman's classes on Thursday nights but, because of some issues with previous owners, Elyse and several other teachers were put in a position where they had to teach somewhere else. This was very disheartening as I not only enjoyed her classes but I also really enjoy the actual space we got to work in (i.e. "the studio"). For example, in the Sun room (the main, larger room) there are these beautiful Vedic paintings on the walls that seem to remind one that yoga is an ancient tradition which has been practiced for thousands of years; it is quite a powerful source of inspiration.
Since Jill Agonias has taken over the studio a new life has been breathed back into Divinitree. Not only have Elyse and several others returned but there even seems to be more people enjoying the studio. In the process of coming back to Divinitree, I have begun to try several other teachers including Rachel Wilkins (I now go to her classes whenever possible) Jammie Zimmerman (has a great Saturday morning wake up class), Rachel Quisel (has great Tuesday and Thursday morning wake up classes) and even Jill Agonias herself (who has creative and challenging sequencing in all of her classes)
I also intend to try out some of the other teachers that I haven't had an opportunity to take a class with. But it seems as though no matter what class I take at Divinitree, all of the teachers really just seem to emulate this idea that yoga is a moving meditation and is not just about the physical movements but also their specific pairing with the breath.
On the whole, love this studio. Please don't change who you are!

I LOVE this studio. I have been practicing here for a few years now and truly value the space this studio provides to learn and grow. Not only is the studio itself beautiful with murals and lighting to help you get in the zone during your practice, but the teachers are unique and inviting.

I have been coming to Divinitree for a few months now and absolutely love it!
The studio is clean, stylish and has great vibes.
All the teachers have so much knowledge and really know what they are doing. Everyone does a wonderful job instructing.
They offer a wide variety of classes and times, including everything from beginner to advanced, so no matter where you are in your practice you will find something here.
I also really like that the studio is very active on social media and never lets you miss out on events, changes etc.

I have been a member since Jan 2017. This place saved my life. Divinitree has world-class teachers, a gorgeous studio, a wide selection of practices, unbeatable prices, and is quite possibly the only yoga studio in SB with a consistent Acro yoga program. Definitely you must check this place out!

Love this studio!! I have been practicing here consistently as a monthly member for many years and the new owner, Jill, has brought a fresh new vibrancy to the studio and the community at Divinitree. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The teachers are wonderful and do a great job of instructing and encouraging you to challenge yourself and try new poses. They are so genuinely happy to be teaching their classes, engage with and get to know you, and mix it up so that even if you come a few times a week each class is different. I really enjoy practicing yoga at Divinitree and it is something that I look forward to most weekdays after work. I always leave feeling strong, refreshed, and grateful to have a studio like Divinitree.

I have been a monthly member for over 5 years and have loved my experience. Divinitree has always held a unique space for Yogi's of all levels, as it's teachers are truly phenomenal humans and truly care about their students' well being. Recently, the studio has changed ownership, and I've noticed a dynamic, positive shift in the energy, where a wonderful community is emerging. I always feel welcome when I practice at Divinitree, always walking away with a sense of peace and satisfaction. I look forward to seeing the evolution of this studio as I'm sure it will keep improving upon itself. 🙏♥️

Wonderful yoga studio in a historic building in the heart of downtown SB.
Large number and variety of classes offered at all times of the day and evening, so there's plenty of options for people at any stage on their yoga journey. I've tried classes from quite a few different teachers here, and they are all excellent - friendly, supportive, and great teachers. The staff are all welcoming and encouraging. I've tried several yoga studios around SB, and this one is, by far, my favorite.

Divinitree SB is one of my favorite yoga studios in Santa Barbara! They offer classes for individuals of all levels, and I can tell they hold their teachers to a super high standard! The owner Jill and the desk yogis are always warm and welcoming to everyone, which I haven't always found at other studios. They keep the space clean and well-maintained, and overall I just really have enjoyed my experiences at the studio. Coming here is a great way to support local businesses in SB!

I’ve done Yoga for almost 30 years, yeah, I started at 5: ) I’ve been a member of many amazing yoga communities, but none more amazing than Divinitree! I LOVE this place! The teachers are fantastic! There are a lot of different levels to match my energy levels and usually I love a hard work-out but sometimes I appreciate the less intense levels. I’ve also introduced my son to yoga… and he loves it, but he likes it more low key. Another thing I really appreciate about Divintree is how easy it is to put my membership on hold if I’m traveling, the customer service always helps me work things out.
Recently I found out that Divinitree has a new owner and after talking to her I’m super excited. She’s all about community and coming together which is something that’s really become important to me in the last few years. Can’t recommend Divinitree any higher!!

SB Divinitree is exactly what I look for in yoga. In the classes I have taken, they are the only studio I've been to that does such a good job of incorporating both a good physical exercise and awareness/meditation. I honestly have felt my physical practice and my mental state improve by attending these classes. I recommend for anyone, at any level, who is interested in exploring yoga!

I love the teachers here. They give great instruction for mind and body. Terrific spectrum of types of classes, love being able to push myself in the higher level classes and rest in restorative. They also have acro yoga which is so fun!
This place has great vibes. It’s owned by a young local woman of color who has practiced for years. She’s a new owner here and really bringing positive energy and momentum into the space.
There are two studios with beautiful murals in each. Mats, blocks, straps, towels provided for free. And there’s a great deal for your first two weeks unlimited. Student specials and social media specials. They host really innovative and affordable workshops, and they have teacher training each year.
I also love the business the studio is attached to, Kotuku. Delicious smoothies, coffees, and super mindful local food. Reishi mushrooms, CBD, essential oils, handmade chocolates and breakfast bars, awesome lunchbox deals.

The classes are great, nice environment, pretty clean and low key environment. I don't feel like I'm in a Lululemon headstand competition when I'm trying to relax. I love that they offer Kundalini which is why I go here versus any other studio in town. It is a tad too much but buying the class packages helps, and it keeps me committed to my practice/personal growth. 5 stars because Mits is amazing!

Awesome variety of classes from morning until evening. The instructors are passionate, compassionate and genuinely care for their students. They live the yogic lifestyle rather than just teaching classes. I've been here for 2.5 years and am now becoming a yoga teacher here as well. So grateful for this place! AND....they have Kotuku Elixir right inside, so we can get hit, healthy drinks and snacks after class!

There is something for everyone at this studio. Cardio vinyasa flow, centering hatha, deep yin, pretty much everything. Read the class descriptions and teacher bios before to get a good handle what's what. Studio space is split in 2 with the large studio in the front and a smaller more intimate studio around the back. They don't connect so it's helpful to know where you are heading beforehand.

I love this yoga studio! I personally take several classes here a week and recommend my patients to the studio as well. The wide range and variety of classes offered each week sets this studio apart from other yoga studios in Santa Barbara. I highly recommend the sound healing classes with Shane and the Goddess Yoga Circle on Monday evenings with Amanda! Whatever you are looking for, this studio offers!
