Started my solidcore experience at Castro with an intro 50 class taught by Andrew. The moment I stepped out of the blue lights I was hooked. It’s been about three months, and I’ve nearly completed 30 shakes with Solidcore Castro. The energy is consistently amazing, staff are friendly and motivating, music is always fun, and the theme classes are an added bonus.
For anyone looking to start their solidcore journey in SF, this is the studio to visit! Big love to my coaches Lu, Jonathan, Gabby and Charlene for helping me transform my body, and to all the receptionists for creating such a warm and loving atmosphere every time I walk in 💙🦋💙

Location is about half a block away in Apple Maps, Lyft etc from the actual location and very hard to find, as a result i was exactly 6 minutes late to class and not allowed in. I understand staff is just doing their jobs but this is a bad policy. If you have this policy, then fix your location so that it’s correct.

Not sure if this is specific to this location or if the app was glitching but their system kept enrolling me and removing me from waitlists with no notifications and didn't allow me to sign up for a class because it said I was enrolled in one already at the same time (I wasn't). Staff wasn't super helpful unfortunately and I wasted an hour trying to navigate this. They said I was on the waitlist but would have to come in person to see if I get off (usually I can do that online so l don't have to commute 30 mins to see if I can take the class)

Wow what an amazing experience!

I want to thank Josh Arthur for introducing me to solicore. It was my first time doing Pilates type of exercises and Lu the trainer guided me through the entire class. I felt confident and exited during the class. What an awesome time, Definitely recommend Solodcore to everyone! Can’t thank enough for making me feel stronger and achieve exercises I’ve never done before.

Love solidcore, it’s an incredible workout. But this location books quickly so if you have an unpredictable schedule, it’s impossible to get in. It would be great if the studio provided towels as you do tend to sweat and you’re really close in proximity to your neighbors.

To set some context, this was my first ever Solidcore class, and it was 7 a.m. on a Sunday. I’m a personal trainer and kinesiologist with years of experience coaching others and working with different modalities, so I wasn’t sure how this style of workout would compare. That said, Shannon absolutely crushed it as an instructor and completely exceeded my expectations. She did an amazing job of showing me the ropes (no pun intended), walking me through the structure of the class, and making sure I felt confident before we got started.

Throughout the workout, she was super attentive, helping with my form, offering modifications to make exercises easier or harder depending on how I was feeling, and even handing me a stability pole right before I was about to eat it during the runner’s lunge. It was that kind of thoughtful attention that made me feel like I wasn’t just surviving the class but actually improving.

The vibe overall was great, the energy was high without being overwhelming, the music was on point, and Shannon’s guidance kept things fun and motivating. Even with all my experience in fitness, I felt challenged and learned a few new things. I left feeling accomplished and excited to come back for another class.

If you’ve been on the fence about trying Solidcore, take this as your sign to go for it. And if Shannon’s teaching, you’re in good hands!

Best reformer class I’ve EVER taken- a full 50 minutes of pain with amazing coaches and a great atmosphere to push yourself safely. The teachers are clearly incredible well trained. Dougie pushed me to plank as I’ve never planked before!

Their class system is buggy, so you may purchase classes that you can't actually use.

I have spent a total of ~2.5 hours trying to figure out why I can't use a class I've bought, through emails and going to their location in person. At this point I've given up.

Did a drop in to this studio and took a class with Coach Bernie. I’m still relatively new being under 25 classes so definitely appreciated the form checks and encouragement to either go hard (feelin’ spicy) or take a breather (shake it out)… and I take many breathers. Overall, great class – the fire playlist got me thru – also loved the aesthetics of this studio – the folks at the front desk were very welcoming. Looking forward to coming back.

Also if anyone is dealing with IT Band Pain (runner's knee pain), the hamstring class really helped to alleviate the pain for me the next day.
