The space is warm, welcoming, and peaceful—perfect for unwinding and reconnecting. Sheila is an incredible teacher who guides each session with calm energy, clear instruction, and thoughtful adjustments for all levels. She truly exceeds expectations by following up with clients via text, ensuring everyone feels supported even beyond class. Every session leaves me feeling balanced, refreshed, and stronger. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a supportive yoga community!

Solitude Healing Arts truly lives up to its name. Sheila’s Fly Stretch class has been transformative—she’s a gifted spiritual leader who eased my back pain and released so much stress. I left each class feeling peaceful, grounded, and slept deeply afterward. Morgan’s Breathwork even relieved a nine-day migraine. These classes are powerful, and I’m excited to experience more of what Solitude Healing Arts offers.

Sheila is a true healer. I'm still in awe in all she was able to do for me in such a short amount of time. I was dealing with a horrible infection that destroyed my body and after taking 3 different types of medication (antibiotics) and finding no relief, I resorted to looking into other options.
I was feeling hopeless, fragile, and scared when I walked in but Sheila welcomed me with a warm hug and took my last minute reservation for a Reiki/Reflexology session. She cleansed me of all the negative energy and blockages in my body. I still can't believe that she did it, but she healed me!
If you are thinking about coming here, do it. You will not regret it. Thank you, Sheila, for offering these services to the community and for treating me with compassion and care. I will be coming back for the meditation classes and other services.

🦋My Serene, Safe, Space. 🦋That's exactly what Solitude Healing has been for me. Words can hardly capture how deeply this place has supported me throughout my healing journey. Sheila is an incredibly beautiful soul she is compassionate, patient, kind, and truly present. Her energy creates such a peaceful and calming environment where it feels safe to release, reflect, and restore. I've explored many of the services offered, and each one has contributed to my wellbeing in meaningful ways. The Sound Bath Meditation and Reiki sessions have helped me immensely, bringing deep relaxation, and emotional clarity. I also want to highlight Tabitha, the Instructor for Aerial Loop Lyra and Aerial silks. She is Beautiful, patient, uplifting, positive, compassionate, supportive, an Amazing instructor who creates a space that's both empowering and welcoming. For anyone I can reassure you Solitude Healing has truly been for me transformative. You will not be disappointed with the services here. I'm so grateful for this space, and please everyone invest in your healing, invest in YOU! It’s all worth it! 🦋🌺💯🫶🏼

I experienced my first sound bath therapy (floating in a caccoon) and it was incredible! I went in with a migraine and before the session ended, I was feeling 100% better. I’ve suffered from migraines for 30 years - I didn’t even go for that reason, but I found a solution. My mind and body felt very relaxed . I’ve already booked a private follow up session. I can’t wait to try out all the classes!

My experience. Is that I was looking for community and I’ve found it. Her classes are just so welcoming and I’ve benefited so much from them. Then she opened it up to kids and my kids love the yoga. It’s not a watered down version of kids yoga but she actually teaches form and helps them engage at a level they can understand without being too kiddish. She respects them at their age. It’s just amazing to see! Classes here you just won’t regret. They are built for everyone.

I am so blessed to have found Solitude. The owner Shelia is very kind, caring and compassionate. The studio is very inviting, beautiful colors and messages of strength and love through out the studio. I have taken my adult children to experience cocoon meditation, and they loved it as much as I have. I always leave a session feeling free, open, creative and reset. If you have a bucket list and like to try something refreshing I highly suggest a cocoon/sound bath meditation it's a great experience.

Solitude Healing Arts has been a very beautiful and transformative puzzle piece for myself. The classes they offer range from days you just need a good stretch to those days you really want to lean deep into yoga. Both are taught by amazing women Sheila and Anica. They are very graceful and spirited in their practice. I’ve also received amazing reiki and reflexology sessions from Sheila, her words and prayers are beautiful and resonate with me so deeply. If you’re on a path of healing or even just wanting to experience true yoga at its core I highly recommend Solitude Healing Arts. 💗

I have been going to solitude for some time now and have had nothing but positive and transformative experiences. Sheila has put so much positive intention and love into this space and you can feel that the moment you enter the doors. All of the classes that are offered are amazing and I have personally done a lot of healing in this space with mind body and soul. What more could you ask for? There is so much variety in the classes and healing services offered which i love and means there is something for everyone. ❤️ This space is all about showing up as you are and honoring each experience. Much love.

If you are looking for more than just a fitness class, then look no further. Solitude offers classes that help your body, mind and soul. The classes offered are small and intimate and everyone I’ve encountered is kind and nonjudgmental. I have been going to Sheila’s classes since February and I love them. I look forward to my evenings spent at Solitude because it’s time my me time. No outside distractions and I can focus on letting go of the unnecessary baggage of the day/week.

Solitude is a unique space that is free of judgements. A space that allows you to come in , and not only be accepted but also celebrated for who you are; and where you are headed. I’ve attended yoga classes at most Bakersfield studios and none of them compare to Sheila’s.

I began coming to Solitude in January of 2020 and am still going strong! This is the first time I have been consistent with exercise - ever. That speaks volumes!

I had chronic back, neck, shoulder, hip and leg pains for the last 10 years do to injuries occuring overtime. After many chiropractor, doctor, and physical therapy, appointments and getting zero results, I was just about done trying. In my last efforts I finally decided I would give deep tissue massage an opportunity although I never was a believer. I figured something as simple as that couldn't really treat chronic pains, right? I randomly came across Antoinette Reset Retreat on Facebook and boy am I thankful! I told her all my pains and how and when I think they happened. She listeneded and retained that information, knew muscle names of affected areas, insertion points of muscles, ligaments, and tendons, as well as best direction to massage in for best results. I had massages on vacations in the past, but this was nothing like that. It was not a universal full body massage, she was able to construct a massage tailored for my pains and surprisingly worked on areas that didn't hurt, but found deep knots that in-turn removed pain from the area I was having chronic pain in. For instance I was having hip and glute pain and she realized it was do to me having many deep knots in my quads causing improper function which was pulling my hip down and forward. Also lower back tail bone pain from her removing deep knots in my hamstrings which was causing my other hip bone to pull backwards and down. Not only that, but my sciatica pain went completly away do to her finding knots in my glute medius. She really knows how the body functions and thinks outside the box. After only a few sessions she was able to remove 10 Years of pain over such a short period of time and I am just thankful I came across her. I was never a believer in massage therapy, but now I preach it. I have referred plenty of people that I know were also having pains and they loved her attention to detail and ability to listen and empathize. I now get atleast a massage a month for upkeep and it has helped me become much more conscious of aches and pains as soon as they arise. I can finally workout pain free again and I owe it to her she is the best ! At age 35 I feel like I did when I was 25, no more struggling to get out of bed or put my socks on lol. I am now a massage lifer. I hope this advice helps someone else in pain.

10/10 would recommend! Class sizes are small and the studio is very inviting. Sheila is extremely welcoming and made me feel so comfortable from the first time I walked into her studio over a month ago. Since attending classes regularly, I have see the positive impact this studio and Sheila have had on my life, not only do you focus on your body but also loving yourself. There are many different class options to choose from and each is unique in its own way. You will leave with more than just a good work out. Don't hesitate to book a class, you wont regret it! I know I didn't!
