I can’t cancel my membership. No answer on both phones, no one at the office. I got a reply by text and as soon as I mentioned my cancellation they stopped answering. Why are you changing how you treat customers. Disappointed and it feel illegal

Impossible to get in touch with someone to cancel. Folks who work the desk can sign you up no problem but apparently aren’t trained to cancel memberships? Can’t do so yourself online either. Called/emailed/texted and not a single reply. Have to cancel my credit card so they can’t continue to charge me. Facility looks like it was once pretty great and the class instructors are awesome but something is up with management and how they’re handling customers and maintenance. Expected more for how much monthly memberships cost.

Very shady business. Cancelled my membership because the gym was dirty never cleaned obvious health hazard. There was never any staff at the front desk. Credit card gets charged every month even after filing a dispute. I have filled out multiple cancellation forms, sent emails, spoke to front desk. Huge hassle having to call the credit card company. If you look on Nextdoor there is a thread with tons of people this is happening to.

Nice gym but the membership operations are at best disorganized or at worst utilize shady tactics to keep auto charging membership dues. Other reviews show this is a systemic issue and not just me. I've had to go through my credit card company to dispute charges. I would suggest paying cash at this business as they do have a nice gym, but would not trust them with my credit card.

I had been a member of the Sonoma Aquatics Club for six years. Everything was fine initially when Sonoma Fit took over. Then when we went to workout in late July we were told they could not find our membership. We were still charged $95 in August, September and October. Tried to contact and get charges reversed with no luck and no access to club.

I was a member of SonomaFIT for some time, but I eventually needed to cancel my membership as well as a second account I was paying for. I canceled both accounts, but they were improperly handled, and I continued to be charged despite my cancellations. When I noticed I was still being billed, I reached out to resolve the issue but received no response. Eventually, I was connected with the manager, Leo Pardo. He assured me on multiple occasions that he would handle the situation and provided me with several dates when it would be resolved. However, these dates came and went with no resolution.

Life got busy, so I set the issue aside for a while. When I returned to follow up, Leo started dodging my calls. Frustrated, I decided to confront him in person at the Oasis location, only to find him scrolling on TikTok and vaping inside the building. I found this extremely unprofessional, especially when he claimed he was too busy to address my issue while simultaneously engaging in such behavior. Shortly after, I learned that Leo was no longer the manager of all the locations—a smart decision on SonomaFIT’s part. They replaced him with someone named Trey, though I have yet to confirm if Trey even exists. No one at any of the four locations seems to have his contact information, and I was told his base is in Petaluma. I took a trip to that location one afternoon, only to find the building completely empty. It’s like the place is running itself.

I’ve also heard rumors that SonomaFIT is experiencing financial difficulties, which I’m beginning to believe based on my experiences. On top of all that, they charge an annual fee to “maintain equipment,” which seems redundant considering the monthly membership fee is already around $100. It feels like an unnecessary charge, especially given that the facilities lack essential amenities like a sauna, and the bathrooms are often dirty.

SonomaFIT has some serious issues to address, from poor customer service to inadequate facility maintenance. I’m disappointed with my experience and cannot recommend this gym until they resolve these problems.

I was a member at the Petaluma location…it’s a read but if you are thinking about starting here, I would not…The staff at this gym treats members like garbage!
When I went to begin my membership, it was during a promotion. I was told to come back the next day because it would be a fresh billing cycle, it would make more sense, and that they would honor the promotion. When I went in the next day they denied the conversation and it took awhile of convincing and e-mails with Britney jones to finally get started. I would have just started the first time I came in, but they told me not to, and the wanted to charge me more money!
I went in one night and it took me a few minutes to unlock the front door with the app, when I got in finally, I had forgot to swipe a second time at the desk (though my info is logged from opening the door) and Britney again emailed me right away threatening to revoke my after hours pass. A simple “hey don’t forget to swipe a second time” would have been a normal thing to say…
Now I’m trying to cancel my membership and am being treating like I am a crazy/rude person! It is WILD! I can’t get a hold of anyone and am only receiving rude/snarky/short remarks from emails. They act as if I was the meanest and craziest person ever. I really am at a loss.
The gym itself was dirty, equipment always broken, sinks never worked, water fountains never worked, despite talking to the front desk. The bathrooms are filthy as well. Front desk is full of kids so I don’t blame them but management is just awful. I’m glad to be leaving.
Though I only gave 28 day notice instead of 30 so they want to charge me another $100! Insanity!
I know other gym owners and have been a member at multiple gyms throughout my life and this is by far the worst! I can go on but I reccomend going anywhere but here! This place is absolutely terrible. For $100 a month, it is not even close to worth it.

I love this gym and have been a member for months now, but at this point, it's so disgusting to step inside the women's restroom. As a woman, our restroom should be the cleanest part of any gym. Who wants to sit on toilet seats that have stains, no covers, and toilet paper on the floor? These stains and garbage have been there for a week! I have seen cleaner public restrooms. It feels like they just need to take out the trash and get the towels washed. You would think that with the high price and yearly charge for the "gym improvements," they would keep up with cleaning. I just took these pictures today because after a week, I have to say something…. IT IS SO GROSS.. Let's note that lately, I've been seeing empty cups and cans on the gym floor for days. I don't know what happened, but the last 3-4 months are when the cleaning department just stop existing or something…. I'm not sure if the staff is just too busy talking to each other to pay attention what’s happening but it’s so disappointing… It's crazy because I also go to the Petaluma location, and the girl staff is great! You can ACTUALLY see them checking the restrooms, and they are ALWAYS clean! Those girls in Petaluma need to come train this Sonoma lotions ASAP…

I was a member for 3 months in 2019, I enjoyed the gym, the staff was very polite, but they made it unnecessarily difficult to cancel my membership once I moved out of state, Sonoma Fit also tried to charge me for an extra month even though the 3-week delay in a response to membership cancelation was on their end.

Now Sonoma Fit keeps using my personal info to subscribe me to promotional emails and newsletters, I have unsubscribed several times they just add me back a few months later.

I got one for Sonoma Fit Pool Club yesterday, its very annoying, I haven't lived in California since 2020, I have no interest in a pool club.

Staff does not monitor the use of equipment properly. It is now 4 o’clock the gym has got quite a few people in it mini machines there are people waiting in addition to weights and benches. One person working out was using a floormat a bench and standing up doing free weights all at the same time except not really they couldn’t possibly have used all three of those at the same time. When I asked to work in the woman doing it said no I’m using it meaning the bench. This place is ridiculously unmonitored

Sonoma Fit treated us so nicely while we were in town with a great deal on a monthly membership! The gym is sparkling clean, lots of excellent equipment and the staff are super friendly! I was apprehensive about going to a fitness center during covid but I feel super safe here without the vibe being overbearing my uptight. Highly recommend you try it, too! No regrets, even signed a friend up to try it as well and he also loves it!

This 1 gym replaced 3 gyms for us! My girlfriend used to go to 3 gyms for cycling, pilates and weights. I used to go to 2 gyms for weight lifting and cycling. Sonoma Fit offers everything we need (cycling, pilates, weight lifting, great cardio machines, and classes). Everything is nicely separated so you're working out with like-minded people. For example, the weight lifting section is in a different room than the cycling, pilates, cardio, etc. Gym is also extremely clean and everything is new. Nice staff & motivating classes.

I love this gym! I mostly go for the cycle and HIIT classes, and every single instructor has been amazing. The facility is impeccably clean and the front desk associates are friendly and helpful. The vibe in class is positively motivating, which means I actually look forward to going back.

Excellent place to workout. I went in today since I am visiting from out of town. The front desk gal was very polite. I signed the waiver, which only took about a minute. She gave me a full tour of the gym. Very clean facility, tons of cardio and free weight options. It’s nice to work out in a gym where they care about the appearance. If I lived here, I would definitely train here. The other members were very polite as well.

The classes are great. The employees, trainers, and instructors are also cool and laid back. Definitely everything I want in a gym. Pricey but worth it for what your getting. Looking foreward to my first Room X class tomorrow, it’s their own circuit training class for platinum members.

This is a great new facility. I am not one for writing reviews but I just joined and am stoked at the options and space available. The equipment seems spare no expense and even has Sonoma Fit branding on them, there is cross fit and TRX equipment all under same roof, and people there are super nice and helpful. All for a really competitive price best of all!!! Plus there is a coffee cart outside that is really good.

Highly recommend joining this one. Ditch the other place!

We are out of town guestsWe went first to the gym up the street in Maxwell shopping center the gentleman at the desk charged us $14 day charge. My husband and I went back 2 days later and we're told $20 a day we explained we were just charged 14 on Monday. The office Manger said "I don't care he was wrong it is $20." We walked out and searched for another fitness studio..which was right across the street. They were extremely friendly and offered us a 5 day pass at 49 or 10 dollars a day. The equipment is clean and new and you can tell it is a well run club compared to the club across the street that had broken down equipment everyone is on top of you when you exercise. I would highly highly recommend Sonoma Fit.
