The steam room smelled so bad . Idk if people smelled out the ladies room or it’s a plumbing problem but it Reeked . It would be nice if it had 24/7 access all the gyms have it or at the least til midnight access . Just wondering why it smelt so bad .

I signed up for only the back part of the gym. In the back there were two stair climber machines. When one of the machines had been broke for several weeks I asked the staff member if, since they had not fixed it yet, could I use one of the front machines. He made a quick call up front and told me it wouldn’t be a problem. This went on for a couple visits without a problem. The third time I went up there, only to use the stair climber, the person called the owner of the facility. When they hung up I was told I could no longer be up front and the owner said I would just have to wait my turn. When I turned to leave another staff member said “you think that’s bad you should see what it’s like working here”!
The whole time I was there the staff was always very friendly, apparently it’s the owner that is hard to deal with and obviously cares nothing about taking care of the customers. I paid for a membership to a gym that had two working stairclimbers. When one was broken for several weeks and the owner had the opportunity to make it right by simply letting me use one up front. I was told “the owner said you’ll just have to wait your turn”. Well no I don’t! I went across the street to Anytime Fitness. It’s a much nicer place, working equipment, 24/7 access, private showers and is a few dollars cheaper every month. The funny part is, now that I’m at Anytime Fitness, I see several people have also switched over to this gym as well. I would steer clear of Sonora Sports and Fitness.

Staff is nice, pool and racquetball courts are good, equipment (except for cardio equipment) is old but functional. Membership cost is high for the limited evening hours. Not open past 9pm weekdays and 4pm weekends. Extended evening hours or a fob system for 24hr access would be nice.

I dont even want to give one star. Most the staff unkind, the owner after i oaid for 3 months there said i can no longer go there, i remember being a masters swimmer there about 20 years ago but dont remember problems with the person. I am a person that needs to swim at keast 4 days a week so whilst I was living in twain harte just fir the winter thought ut was great to have a place to swim, i was rehabilitating my spine after a spinal cord injury a serious one that I was in a wheelchair fo some time then for no reason I was told I could not go there. The gym part is hideous with televisions everywhere , i dont want to see television or the shows they had on whilst working our. Not into massage parlors or nail and hair salons either at the gym. Or angry jealous people that seemed to try to impeed my progress of healing. I would shut the place down.

It is the both the best and the most expensive gym in town. It doesn't open till 8 on the weekends but has great classes and the only gym with a pool. I live the water aerobics.

Looks Like a cool place too bad the price is so high considering the hours of operation 24 hour fitness is cheaper and open 24 hours I would never pay 75 dollars a month when I can only visit once a week they probably would get alot more clientele if lowered there price and extended there hours

Been around for a very long time. What I like about this place it is usually quiet and you can get on the equipment as needed with no wait. They offer full access day passes for twenty dollars and they have a couple pools as well as a basketball and racquet ball courts. Friendly and helpful staff. Older equipment for the most part but still works perfectly well. Easy parking and very central

I am very impressed by the courtesy and helpfulness at the front desk. The equipment is in great shape and allows plenty of space for what I need to do. The equipment seems clean and the people seem very friendly. I noticed a negative post 6 months ago but I'm not sure that I understand since I have I had a great experience at this gym and have quite high standards. I'm very happy at this gym and it seems to help me physically as well as mentally. So I'm very grateful.

My 5 year old daughter and I did a swim lesson and the instructors are amazing. Very helpful and patient. My daughter was so comfortable and confident while in the water because of the instructors.

Poor communication and no professionalism sum this place up perfectly. Owner was rude and condescending when asked why we weren't notified that they would be charging us again. Like it was too much of US to ask that a business be accountable for their actions and transactions. They said the only way they communicate with their clients is through Facebook, which is GARBAGE. I'd give them zero stars if it would let me. Cancelled membership today and I have no regrets.

Was a member prior to the shutdown at the beginning of March. No communication from them via text, email, or snail mail during the hiatus of services. Looked at my bank statement today (July 7th) to see they’d charged my monthly membership fee. I didn’t even realize they were open.

Called the facility to confirm that they reopened (end of June) and they verified that they did charge all of their members July membership fees without sending out any fliers, emails or texts regarding the reopening. They stated they have no means of sending out mass emails or texts. They stated that their only means of communicating with their clients are updates they post to their Facebook page.

They denied having the ability to stuff and stamp an envelope... given that I no longer trust their services as a business.

Stopped by to ask about the daily rate while I'm in town for a few weeks. Was quoted $10 (reasonable) and given a very intrusive medical form to fill out. Came back the next day with the form and now they say it's $15 (not worth it). I don't know what the problem is here, but they did a very good job of pissing off a potential new customer.

There are two gyms. The upper gym is more power lifting oriented and where the younger crowd can be found while the lower gym focuses more on cardio and resistance machines with a more laid back crowd. The classes offered aren't the cheapest but the quality of instruction and the day and easy friends to be made make them a hidden gem in the community

Tries to be something for everybody. A plus is that they split the membership into three activities: main gym for machines, cardio, racket ball courts, steam/sauna rooms and classrooms. The back gym has a basketball court and free weights. The outdoor pools (2) are the third. You can have one or all three. No track or tennis courts. Big plus: no long term membership BS. Everything is month to month and you can add/subtract activity’s as needed.

This is my local gym, so I’m sort of biased, but it’s a great place - not the flashiest or absolute newest machines, but they’re all clean and well kept and not super crowded. Ample areas to get your workout on, plus a super nice lap pool, and various courts if ball sports are your thing.

This is just a social club. Packs of guys just tying up equipment for twenty minutes at a time while they socialize and yell across the gym at each other. I am buying my own equipment and exercising at home.
