Such a cozy little studio in the heart of Culver City. Very sweet and professional staff that takes the time to know all of their members.

I absolutely love this yoga studio! It’s a good walking distance for anyone who lives in Palms or DTCC. The variety of classes they offer is amazing. Whether you’re looking to break a sweat, get a deep stretch, or just relax and reset, there’s something for everyone. My fave workout classes to take are Hannah’s Yoga Sculpt and Robyn’s Mat Pilates/Barre. When I want something more chill I love their Level 1/2, SoulFlow, and their Stretch classes.

The instructors are all fantastic, so welcoming, encouraging, and knowledgeable. The whole vibe is very inclusive and judgment-free, which makes it easy to feel comfortable no matter your experience level.

The $14 for 14 days intro offer is also a must try! It’s the perfect way to explore all the different class options and find what works best for you. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Nicolette is my favorite yoga teacher in the whole wide world! She’s so gentle and kind and coaches you every step of the way. Definitely would recommend for a class! Also the $14 for 14 days really got me back into my routine. Told all my friends.

I want to say overall this is an amazing studio. The community is wonderful, truly. My girlfriend loves classes here and raves about it. I joined her and am not a yoga person but loved it. We did Nicolette’s Saturday 9am class and were thrilled. Nicolette is an excellent teacher with a very special energy.

I love SoulPlay so much! I’m very happy to have joined this studio. I appreciate their commitment to the community. They are inclusive and diverse, they offer affordable communtiy sessions, and they provide a wide range of events and classes to choose from. The instructors are also very personable and they each have a unique style which keeps things fun. The studio is always very nice and clean, they have everything you need. Unfortunately no parking, but there’s a public parking structure across the street for $1-2.

Reasons I love SoulPlay Yoga:

1. They are an inclusive studio
2. They have a wide variety of classes, pop-ups and workshops. Many of which span beyond yoga. Examples - barre fusion, sculpt fusion, mat Pilates, breathwork and meditation, women’s circles
3. The studio is well maintained
4. The teachers are friendly and offer modifications
4. It feels like a community ❤️

I'm so excited to start the new year off with a glowing review of my favorite yoga studio in Los Angeles.

SoulPlay Yoga is truly in alignment with their mission statement of being a studio for every BODY. I love the inclusivity and the depth of instruction. I have taken so many classes there and each one seems to both challenge and yet embrace my mindbodyheart. I have brought my 12 year old daughter to many classes and she has loved being there as well. The teachers have so much depth and wisdom that they share freely. There is such a variety in classes and workshops. I appreciate that so much.

Parking can be a bit tricky, so make sure to leave a little extra time before classes to ease in.

If you are looking to start 2025 on the right foot (or left), I highly recommend experiencing SoulPlay's incredible classes and community.

I was traveling to the area over the holidays and decided to try out a few yoga classes at Soul Play Yoga. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience! The instructors were knowledgeable, warm, and made everyone feel welcome regardless of their level of experience. The studio was clean, inviting, and had such a peaceful atmosphere. I left every class feeling grounded and refreshed. I highly recommend this studio to anyone in the area or just passing through!!

I was a member of this studio up until 2023 because Thomas was a co-owner and instructor. I was a huge fan of the Yo-Box classes.

Frankly, I was not going to waste my time or energy on the owner Brooke Campanelli. She is unprofessional, rude and unethical. However, I just received an email asking me to update my credit card in the studio’s attempt to charge my credit card.

1. I do not have an ongoing membership.
2. I made it very clear to the owner that I was not interested in ever attending any classes at Soul Play.
3. Given the infantile email I received below – there is no question about Brooke’s willingness and motivation to treat clients with so much disrespect.

Advice – make sure your account is secure, and you are not being charged for any classes or memberships that you have not contracted to.

“Hello Shannon,

I handle all Memberships and Account Management for SoulPlay Yoga. I
received a message that you are inquiring about your classes in your account, however we don't offer refunds for classes purchased and unused. But all class packs are transferable and shareable so feel free to give them to someone who can use them.

As for your questions about the livestream Yo-Box classes being cancelled.

I'm sure if you ask your good friend Thomas about it, he can answer those questions for you.”

My 15-year-old daughter and I go to yin and restorative yoga classes together at Soul Play. It has been an incredible way to connect and to show her how to take care of mind, body & spirit as she has to navigate growing up in this wild world. I am beyond grateful for the community at Soul Play. It is chill and purposeful and the community is diverse in so many ways. Who wouldn't want yin yoga, massage and aromatherapy on a Sunday night to start your week?! It's a magical and I'm being serious, a life-altering gift to yourself. I also have enjoyed all of the different instructors we've been able to experience.

I love this studio so much! Small, intimate community vibes - one room studio with a TON of class variety. I’m so glad I found this one-stop-shop and would highly recommend it to anyone shopping for a new addition to their workout flow.

It’s also the most affordable yoga + fitness studio I’ve found in LA - double win :)

I don’t know if it’s fitting for me to post a review as someone who sometimes teaches at this studio but I just left the new soulplay booty class with Katie Cakes and I am both fully invigorated and ready for a nap. There are so many great classes here and I’m so happy to see the new offerings. This one kicked my ass in the best way. I’ll be back!

I practice yoga at soul play for a little more than a year, since I moved to Culver City. The unlimited membership is perfect.
They have so many kinds of classes and instructors. And they are always trying new ones. It's super worth it.

unheated classes! Does not have hot yoga though if that's your jam. Really enjoyed classes with Geoff, Kate, and Hannah for their different styles, energies, and flow focus. Try them out you wont be disappointed!

Soul Play yoga is a main stay of downtown Culver City. During the pandemic, they have moved to a lovely outdoor location where they’ve been holding socially distanced, masked classes while also live-streaming. There is a full schedule of classes from restorative to strong vinyasa flow. Parking is easy. Advance reservation for class via the web site.

I love this studio. The staff is super personable, the schedule reaches a wide range of abilities - there's something for everyone!, the instructors are very good, and they are communicative and have been working hard to find flexible solutions during quarantine. This studio has provided the most welcoming, family-like atmosphere, and satisfying experience of any studio I've been to. I love that they are local and small but make the most of their spaces, and always have the community in mind. Give it a try!!

Been coming here since 2011. Would recommend whether you're a beginner or long-time yogi. Great instructors, good variety of levels/types and love the recent upgrades the new owners made (added space and nee classes). Also love the low-key vibe.

Goda is a sanctuary and wonderful community. Non pretentious clean warm and friendly. All the instructors are super knowledgeable and they offer a wide variety of classes and awesome workshops. This is my Yoga home. The first authentic studio I have found in Southern California. Goda was the first yoga studio in Culver City. Love this place and they have convenient 2 hour parking in a structure located on their cross street Watseka.
