If you’re looking for a Pilates studio and you’re anywhere near San Clemente, then look no further than South County Fitness, you won’t be disappointed. Carol is incredibly kind and patient helping new people learn Pilates. She has created a warm and welcoming environment accommodating all levels. Opting to limit the studio to just six reformers, she prioritises the individual.

Would absolutely recommend this studio for any level of experience. Really appreciate how clean it always is, positive vibes of the members and all the instructors are amazing, most importantly know what they’re doing when it not only comes to fitness but offering proper modifications for those that need/want it. Love the variety of exercises, class types, high quality equipment and the morality of the owner. So happy they’re apart of our community!

I started working out at South County Fitness 5 months ago and plan on continuing. I had hurt my shoulder doing exercises with a class and an inexperienced teacher. Carol, the owner of South Coast, was an instructor I had previously taken classes with and I knew she was excellent. I’ve been going 2 times a week. I have had a problem with balance after a hip surgery and Carol designates exercises just that problem, as well as a great workout. I love the professionalism and competence of South Coast Fitness. Totally recommend it!!

Grateful best describes how I feel for Carol and South County Fitness. Whether we are doing a bootcamp fitness class, traditional mat or reformer class, Carol keeps it fresh and challenging. Her signature “smile when it burns” motivation, has helped me develop a stronger more defined body, confidence, and the ability (most days) to do the coveted Teaser. Carol’s interactive workouts are fun, form checking, strength building, and I love that just when I think I have the move down, Carol adds a new challenge. With a refreshing down to earth style, Carol acknowledges that some days moves are more of a struggle and some moves just never seem to get any easier. Working with her the last four years have flown by, and I am committed to continue having fun getting stronger with Carol at South County Fitness.

I started Pilates a few months ago with my daughter never realizing I would love the personal classes with Carol who is the owner and instructor, she personalizes each class, Carol is amazing and so knowledgeable.
I’ve strengthen my core muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility enjoying every class.

I love South County Fitness! I’ve been attending since it first opened its doors, I believe 5 years ago. Carol, the owner and instructor is amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating to her clients. Her studio is airy, clean and has very current equipment. I like that Carol is clean conscientious with all the equipment, in between each client session. She really knows the anatomy and has really helped me with my back issues, with the modifications and adjustments she will do, when something isn’t comfortable for me. I typically leave after my sessions, feeling I received a full body workout and look forward to them 3x’s per week. I highly recommend Carol’s Pilates sessions, she really cares!

Carol is a pro. Gives excellent instruction, explains what muscles you should be feeling getting worked out and her attitude is positive with just the right amount of encouragement otherwise prefaced with, "this will be fun" enthusiasm. I've studied with her for over 3 years and highly recommend her for anyone who wants to get fit from the inside out, gain strength, balance and a toned figure.

Carol is an amazing Pilates Instructor. My husband and I were looking for something fun and healthy to do during the week as a date night. We started going to Carol every Tuesday night. She makes the classes so fun. I have been to large Pilates classes in the past. It is so nice going to a private studio and getting the one on one attention to cater to our specific needs. She has a really nice and clean studio in South San Clemente. You will love it!

Carol is an amazing instructor. She is so knowledgeable about the whole body, how your muscles are working together and how to improve it all. She is also great at "cuing" you right at the perfect moment to keep your form exactly where it should be in order to avoid injury when working out. She is always in a good mood and ready to greet you with her positivity and her great smile. I couldn't recommend her more.
