I did a circuit class with Pilates, Endurance and Strength- 9 minutes in each station- on the Reformer, the Tower & free Weight Area. It’s was a super fun, sweaty 50-min class. Gyllian is a great instructor, kept the class moving in a fun and organized pace!!!

Besides being an absolutely aesthetically pleasing space, the instructors and the staff make this place feel like you’re being welcomed into a friend’s beautiful home. Be prepared to get a great workout, find plenty of easy parking and maybe even make new friends. This place is an absolute gem! Speir has built a welcoming community in a safe and peaceful environment.

I started going to Speir when they were still in Venice, and I'm so happy they've added this semi-private studio to the mix. You can do privates or semi-privates at this location (3 people for a semi) and the small groups make such a difference - you get so much personal attention and never feel lost in a crowd. The instructors are great - I'm a bodyworker and yoga teacher and tend to be picky, but most of the folks I've worked with truly know their stuff. So even if you're new, injured, or have no idea what you're doing, you'll be well taken care of.
The equipment is all brand new (Balanced Body) reformer and towers, Cadillac, chair, and ladder barrel. If you do a private session, you get access to all of it, you're not limited to just a reformer.
If you're new to pilates, definitely start with a private - it's worth it to learn proper form and make sure you're engaging the right muscles before jumping into group classes. You'll get a lot more out of your sessions and will feel 100% less confused in a larger group class (hit up the Ocean Park studio for that).
The whole vibe here is super chill and welcoming - everyone's genuinely friendly and the space is always clean. Even the bathrooms are nice! This has become my new fav. pilates spot - definitely recommend!

Took a semi private and it was so fun! The space is beautiful to start. The staff is friendly and our instructor Zola was incredible. If you’re looking to get into fitness but are intimidated to take a class, I highly recommend trying a private or semi-private. Zola was attentive, kind and made us feel very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!
