Just took my first class and I absolutely loved it! Such a unique combination of spin, strength and yoga and really the perfect balance. I especially appreciated how when you arrive everything is already organized for you - locker picked out, spin bike & strength spot reserved, yoga mats arranged - really removes the mental overhead and lets you focus on simply arriving and having fun.

I had an amazing first time! Everyone was so incredibly welcoming and kind! This studio really cares about its customers; they ask if you have any injuries and offer modifications if so. The vibes are amazing and half the time you even forget you’re working out because you’re jamming to the music and enjoying the dark ambience! Overall, I had an amazing experience and will definitely be coming back!

Worst customer service ever including inconsistent policies for customers. Getting money was more important than the cost of my word of mouth, review of studio or overall experience. Four friends who are members have been trying to get me to join. They invited me to come to a “cycle only” class to celebrate a birthday with the thought in mind that I might decide to join if I liked it. The mind body app wouldn’t let me reserve a session because I hadn’t met a prerequisite. When I called to attempt to utilize the free trial I was told it’s only for “full experience” classes by the front desk. I played phone tag with the manager for a week only to be told the same thing. I ended up paying a $37 drop in fee so I could be there for my friend. When I attended someone else in our group of 6 had been able to utilize the free trial for the “ride only” class. When I approached the desk I was told “yeah, he went to our website directly and got around it”. I was told I could not be refunded “they’d get me next time, if I took a full experience class”. I’ve had several management positions including being a fitness manager for a gym. The customer service I received after repeatedly trying to give the staff a chance to make my experience positive was subpar. The only redeeming experience was the class and instructor. Sadly, the lack of customer service resulted in me not recommending this business to anyone.

I showed up at the class today and was told to skip the cycle portion since I need to be there 30min prior as a new user. I know the bike set up and the technology, but they still won't let me join. Lack of common sense, and lack of customer service skills. terrible!

It was amazing! The team is super friendly (I met Lindsey and Maria) and the atmosphere was super positive and very kind! I was kinda clumsy and unsure while working out but felt supported and setup for success by Lindsey, the trainer, and I definitely felt the burn after I left! It’s very customizable to the fitness needs of the individual. I definitely recommend it!

Great exercise program at a very clean state of the arts facility. The instructors are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Went for a team building event and allowed people of various skills participate. The transition was a little more op fast for me. Can not wait to go back again.

First timer at SPENGA… This review was written a day after my session - let’s just say I’m feeling sore, in a good way. Sunday session with Marina was amazing!!! I’ve never done spin before and she definitely made me feel like I’m not a noob. The spin session was great, definitely exceeded my expectations. The strength session was great, it felt like a HIIT session for me and I loved it! I missed lifting weights and it’s great to have it incorporated in the workout session. And finally, the yoga session. Great way to stretch the body after an intense workout session. After the workout, it made me feel like I want to come back again.. And so I am. Next Sunday.

I’ve tried many workouts before, and this is, by far, the best workout I’ve ever done!! I am the strongest I’ve ever been, and I look forward to coming in each time. The combo of 20 min each of spin, strength, and yoga is perfect and keeps things moving so quickly. Each workout is different, and I’ve been able to push myself because of the structure. What a comfortable, clean environment. Walk in and greeted with a smile, for someone's first time it was well received. I discovered SPENGA while trying different places with ClassPass in December of last year. I absolutely love their model: a complete workout with cardio, strength, and yoga. All instructors are amazing and the front desk staff is awesome too. They make easy to stay motivated.
After about a month of sampling, I realized SPENGA was my favorite. I signed up for the unlimited membership in late January. I try to go to 5+ classes a week and feel wonderfully!
At my age, it’s an accomplishment to just maintain a healthy weight, thanks to their Inbody scan I’ve been able to see evidence of fat% loss and muscle mass increase 💪🏼 🚲 🏋️🧘

I’ve been to many workout studios and I have to say that SPENGA is one of my favorites because each class offers a variety of workouts (spin, strength training, and yoga) in one. I get easily bored when doing one type of workout for 45-60 minutes, but I don’t feel that way with SPENGA because each segment is about 20 minutes. Besides the workout itself, there is a sense of community at the studio and all of the staff are super friendly. They really make you feel welcomed.

The 20m spin, 20m strength, 20m yoga has been a great change in my health. The instructors are helpful, energetic and accommodating (I have a hearing impairment and they've been great at accomodations). Spenga may seem intimidating at first but after one session, you'll love it.

The owners are inflexible on class cancellation policy even if it’s the first time, because the classes aren’t ever full. The class cancellation policy isn’t on the website or in the app, there is zero transparency. There is no way to know what the policy is until you’ve been fined or lost your class. I won’t be returning. It’s not worth the stress.
If you want a fantastic HIIT type cardio workout, go for Los Gatos Boxing across the street. For great upper band lower body strength, go for Yoga Source Los Gatos Pilates w Weights. While I tried Spenga for over a year, it just never felt like a good workout.

I am really enjoying my workouts at SPENGA in Los Gatos, CA. The facility is super clean with new and well-maintained equipment. The staff is helpful and friendly. Absolutely disgusting experience at this place. As first timer, I arrived 12 mins early the representative told me I’m late and asked me to wait. Post that they did not even call or update me. They show themselves as fake busy. They are not at all inclusive in their words or actions. Have visited other places and they are much better.

Love 💚 Spenga! I reluctantly tried Spenga a little over a year ago when my doctor insisted I add strength training into my life. I am not a fan of spinning but gave it chance because of the strength training and yoga. Well a year later and I wouldn’t look back. I still don’t love spin but I know that it’s good for me and it’s only 20 minutes. The instructors are AMAZING and Spenga has really created a strong sense of community. I would highly recommend Spenga to anyone looking for a well rounded workout in a welcoming and supportive environment.

The WORST experience I’ve ever had at a workout studio. The staff was rude and unaccommodating from the start. Their policy requires new clients to arrive 10 minutes early for their first class, which I wasn’t aware of. I arrived just 3 minutes late (at 11:53 AM) and was shown the showers and drink station for five minutes, only to be told they couldn’t set up my bike in the studio due to their 10 minute early policy. Instead, they asked me to use a bike outside the studio near the check-in area—without an instructor or music—creating a very awkward and uncomfortable situation. To clarify again, I WAS NOT LATE. I get putting someone outside the class if they are late, but doing so while others are entering?? Also, I have gone to multiple spin classes before, and mentioned I knew how to setup a bike and use the bikes.
As a first-time guest, this felt unnecessarily harsh, especially since I was unaware of the policy. I mentioned that ClassPass hadn’t clearly communicated the requirement to arrive early, but instead of accommodating, the staff focused on showing me amenities that weren't relevant at that moment. If they had spent that time setting up my bike in the studio, I could have joined the class with everyone else. I don’t understand the difference between setting up the bike outside vs inside when it would cause no disruption to the class since it hadn’t even started. It was frustrating to see others entering the class well after I had arrived and be forced to wait around and then bike outside the class for no good reason other than adhering to a policy.
Felt like the punishment for being 3 minutes late (7 min early/11:53 am), was to be forced to bike in silence in a corner… very disrespectful and outright rude.
To add to the confusion, the staff member told me that next time, I wouldn’t have to arrive 10 minutes early, making the entire interaction even more frustrating and inconsistent. The 5 minutes spent touring the gym, and not being able to enter the workout, didn’t have to be repeated…hallelujah…
Ultimately, the whole experience felt cold, dismissive and truthfully very mean. I ended up leaving without taking the class.
I strongly recommend avoiding this gym. Or if it’s your first time SHOW UP 10 MINUTES BEFORE CLASS STARTS or they will make you bike alone in silence in a corner lol

I took my first class recently and it was great! I vibed with the music and felt challenged + motivated in the best of ways! I love the convenience of their two private showers with quality EO products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and, spray deodorant), feminine hygiene products, hair ties, and even a diffusor ( as a curly haired person, I especially appreciate having this available! Never seen it at a workout space before). All I really need to bring if I want to wash up there is a towel & sandals from home which makes continuing my day easy peasy. No need to go all the way back home to get cleaned up.

I found out about Spenga through an instructor that is a customer at the health and wellness company that I work for. She encouraged me to give it a try, so I did. I had never tried a fitness place that follows this type of model before. Previously, I'd only gotten my exercise through hobbies and a standard gym.
I've been going to Spenga for a month now and I will say that I really enjoy it! It is a great addition to my existing exercise routine. Spenga allows me to switch up my approach in order to work different muscle groups and continue to increase my cardio. Each class you will do something different then your previous session within the spin, strength and yoga categories. The instructors and staff are great and I look forward to going each week.

Completed 5 sessions so far and loving the 20-20-20 format including spin, strength and yoga. Feels like a perfect mix where you can check off multiple things as part of your daily workout 👍 The staff members are friendly and helpful, the instructors are great, they take time to explain how to set up the spin bike settings and check in several times to make new members feel comfortable and welcome. I signed up for the unlimited monthly membership since I foresee going atleast 3-4 times a week. Overall, love the good vibes, positive energy and community feel here and recommend to anyone who’s looking to try a fun workout format!

I joined this gym about 7-8 months ago when I moved to the area. I instantly fell in love! The instructors are awesome and they all offer something unique. The 20min spin, 20min strength, then 20min yoga is a perfect combo. It’s a great way for me to get in my cardio, strength, and mental relaxation/decompression. It’s really pretty genius. The studio is super super clean and always smells good. The amenities are great. I’m really happy to have found this place. It’s a very supportive environment and I think people of any skill level or athletic level can get something out of it. You can completely adjust the difficulty to what works for you. For me, this is my therapy!

I LOVE my Spenga workout! I am recovering from a spinal injury and working myself out from a functional scoliosis. I haven't felt this strong in years! It was a journey this past year as I just completed my 100th class. This workout is not only balanced, it enables me to work at my pace that works for my body at the moment. This has been the only place where I have actually seen results. Where I can choose a time slot to come. I literally drop my child off at school and come. Diamond at front deak had a very bad attitude. This store's policy to not change seat also makes no sense whatsoever even 15min before class begins.
edit: the excuse below from merchant doesn't work. They refused to make any adjustments when only low single digit people have checked in, which means the seats were wide open and way before class starts. I hope this kind of attitude makes it clear to everyone their character and integrity, well mostly the lack thereof.

I was super excited to try this studio through ClassPass.. I arrived to the parking lot & was walking to the studio from the parking lot at exactly 8:30am. Walked into the studio at 8:32/8:33am for the 8:45am class. Told the staff my name & was instantly told that I was "late" and considered a "no show" without a greeting followed by multiple "i'm sorry but unfortunately" "we can't do anything." They told me that I would be charged with the no show fee even through I had obviously physically shown up. They proceeded to say that I had to be there not only 15 minutes early but 15-20 mins early and I understand that due to explaining the process of the studio and etc. But the fact that I had walked in only 2-3 mins "late" and still be charged is overboard to me. I understand that there is a policy in place but I was in the lot on time WALKING and it just took me MINUTES to walk in yet they "couldn't take me in".

I’m back here a year later to post an updated review. Still loving the workouts and the team. Over 270 sessions completed, and feel amazing. They were very supportive through a couple of injuries by giving me alternative movements to keep me going while I healed. Additionally, they have added specific weight only or yoga only sessions, which helps me change up my routine and keep me motivated. Still my favorite gym.

I was super excited to try out this new studio on ClassPass. I know I was supposed to arrive 15 mins early or so, the traffic held me back so much I just barely made it in time. The staff greeted me but did no effort to check if there were possible actions she could do to check if she could cancel me from class when she couldn't allow me in ( which I know they might cuz I've been in this situation) and she just simply said it'll be a late cancel so I'll have to get charged even tho I was there. It's my own fault for arriving late, but ppl also came last minute and they were allowed in. I'm super confused but the staff already moved outta her way to help someone else out and it felt like I was basically ignored. It felt like I was neglected and hopefully they could try to help out as much as possible if this situation comes up (cuz it will)

Fantastic work out! Perfect mix of cardio, strength training for the first 40 minutes and relaxing yet effective stretching and unwinding with yoga for the last 20 minutes of the class. The studio itself is brand new, very clean and organized so everything is in a top shape. The strength portion of the work out changes each day so you are working different muscle groups. The environment seems very welcoming and not intimidating to new comers. Definitely check it out!

Great workout. You start with Spin on the bike, then move to strength with weights then yoga to stretch.
I’m not in the best shape so it continually challenges me, but you also can go at your own pace. I like that they have alternate moves In Strength if you have bad knees like me so I can always have an option.
Place is very clean, they have HEPA air filters and UV lights and and the staff cleans your station after each session.

20 minutes on a bike doing Intervals then 20 minutes on body work ( hand weights, TRX) and then you end with 20 minutes of yoga (working on your flexibility and breathe). The place is very clean and the staff is super helpful and fun.

Love SPENGA Los Gatos! It's a beautiful facility, super clean, and the work out is awesome! It's a great cross-training workout with cycle, weights and yoga! It's a bit of a trek for me from Mountain View to Los Gatos, but well worth the drive. I give it my highest recommendation!
